Nice store with a large variety for it's size. Helpful staff, free parking. Store feels a little cramped sometimes. They seem to have more merchandise than they have display shelves. This is not unique to this store, every Dollar General I've visited feels cramped and has more inventory than space allows.

DG is Lobelville is awful to their employees. They are always under staff. One of my favorites there, they always treat her bad and make her work even when she is sick. She's had to go to the hospital multiple times because she worked when she was sick and they threatened to fire her if she called out. Management there is awful.And because they are under staffed, it's hectic.

They do their best. Unfortunately, dollar general is always under staffed. Typically only two closing employees. Three if they are lucky. The amount of work they have to do while watching register, and watching for thieves, is not acceptable. They deserve 15.00 an hour minimum for what they have to do if there is only that many ppl working. Kudo the the veteran ladies at this store though. They know what they are doing and make the best of the situation. It's not their fault that their bosses are greedy. Yes. Greedy.... It's one of the few companies I've seen (in several states) where they all seem short staffed and under paid, yet, another store pops ups here and there like dandelions..... Bottom line, the bottom employees n Management, definitely deserve better. Hats off to you ladies

Great prices, need more kids clothes. Too many of same product in 3 or 4 different places in store. Wasting space for other things that are needed. You get kids clothes, boys and girls pants, shirts, sneakers and you will double your profit. You have the space. Your workers are great and friendly but need help in stock management.

it's okay for a small town dollar store. Offers the same items routinely, however. It could use some change in inventory every now n then. Clothing isle is extremely cramped. Cant hardly look through clothing because it's so packed in. Not as much variety when it comes to little boy clothing as little girls. Nighttime cashier was kind of rude when it was almost closing time.

They stay open pretty late which is convenient in such a small town. The people that work there are always polite as well. If you're in a pinch and can't drive 45min to the nearest Walmart I highly recommend shopping here.

The manager ( she's new with gray hair) she might not be a manager but she is always very rude) absolutely so rude and it was 5 minutes till 10 when I went to go in she told me no at first and then I told her I absolutely needed something for my little girl and then she was very rude and told me I had better hurry up because corporate says they have to be closed at 10 on the dot... She had 2 people in line and she told me hurry up I was just going straight in there to pick up my little girl some pull ups and she was like look I've got to close and it was 2 minutes till 10 when I got checked out and got out to my car at 10:01!!! We need new managers and nice managers!! I want to work there but if she's always that rude I don't want to work with someone who is rude to customers and she's supposed to be the role model for our dollar store!!! It's a new older lady she has gray hair and I will be getting her name and calling corporate!!! The rest of the workers at the dollar store is very nice and very welcoming and I think that's how the manager should be!!! I love the dollar store as long as she ain't there or checking me out! I will not stand in her line!!

I feel the employees really try to keep everything together the best they can. Everyone has been struggling in one way or another with the virus going on. Sadly its not even their fault really for how bare it can be on the shelves. Kuddos for the effort.

We stopped in on our way to another small town on New Year's Day. The lady who checked us out has excellent customer service skills. Actually, every employee we spoke to was very helpful and professional.

Dollar General store was very good. It had most of the things we needed. Which was great because we're in a small town. The store was only 8 miles away. Anything else was almost an hour away.

The employees are so helpful. Most of them know everyone by first name, but even if you're new, they make you feel like family. Great prices and weekly deals.

They are always courteous and prices remain lower withmost of your needs..however, feel that they should sell more things that aren't only allowed to be bought in sets. Example; some people can't afford a whole sheet set and only need a flat sheet but you can't buy it that way. ? Also Listing of whether or not your food products are GMO food products is a plus.

Our dollar store might of not been perfect when Cindy kilpatrick was manager but we are all human she was kind and polite and you always could walk through out the store and find what you needed now it's awlful the manager rarely speaks never smiles and you have to roll racks of stock to get what you need you can barely walk through the store it's not at all something to be proud of if I was corporate I'd beg Cindy back and get this store in lobelville back to it's greatness
