Very nice people working here! Things are a bit pricey but it's worth it for the convenience in a small town. They've been here for a long time and it is Ace Hardware.Popped in again for a few items since they were so nice the first time. Every single employee there is exceptional! A gentleman sold me 12 ft of heavy duty chain and put the hooks on the ends for me for no charge. A nice lady walked me across the road to get a few other items. I didn't even know they had a second store across the street. Everyone there was so polite and helpful I am very impressed! It's like going back in time 50 years when people actually cared about their customers and showed it! I cannot think of one single negative thing to say! be careful and don't step on the dog.. their mascot.. he likes to lay on the floor.From now on anytime I need anything that I most likely would have purchased at Walmart I will be going to ace/williams!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I called ahead to get a 125 feet of 2-2-4 wire and had my wife go pick it up. They gave me 125 feet of 2-0 wire. I called and asked for a manager and explained the situation asked to please let me exchange it that I was given the wrong one. He continued to argue with me saying it’s not their problem and then hung up on me. Over $525 in wire and won’t exchange when it was their fault??? And then have the nerve to hang up on me?? I wasn’t rude, yelling and being very nice. Never will get my business again, so unprofessional!!

This is the place. The employees are ALL so helpful, and nice and will get you in and out or sit and shot the breeze with you don't forget to pet the dog. Oh and their bits of comedic signage out front is always the best.

Every single person in that place is so helpful and so willing and able to meet whatever need you have as long as they have the part or materials. I've been going to this place ever since I've been in Lexington. 1979 was the year that I first knew about Williams plumbing and electric. It's an awesome place to do business.

Friendly helpful very knowledgeable. Love shopping here. They also have a small store across the street that has a plethora of grilling, canning, cooking and odd hard to find gadgets. Really a fun place to just shop. I find something interesting every time I go in.

Friendly staff who are pretty knowledgeable about the products they carry .Prices are slightly less than the other hardware stores in Lexington but I don't shop at these small town stores unless I just need one or two items. The prices are quite a bit higher than the same types of stores in Jackson so I usually wait and get what I need when I go there .
