I purchased a riding Cub Cadet from the Tractor Supply in Lexington, Tennessee.The manager at that time was quite nice about it, and apologetic about it not starting. He came out with a new battery the next day, but it still wouldn’t start. Then, he brought me another mower, exactly like the first one. (Not sure if he actually exchanged the mowers however. I wish I had watched him load and unload, and also had him start it before he left, but I didn’t. IT STILL DIDN'T START.A nice employee (I believe his name was John), said he had an errand in my neighborhood the following morning. He came by my house and tried to start the mower. He stated “Call Dan on Monday. He’s the manager. There’s something wrong with that mower.”The following Monday, May 1st, I called Dan, the store manager at the Lexington location. I explained the situation to him and asked if he could assist me.Dan said he would call me the following day. He didn’t.I tried every day for nearly two weeks to reach Dan by telephone.Finally, on May 16th, I was able to reach Dan. He asked what I wanted.Dan said I should have purchased an extended warranty.I said that an extended warranty was never offered at the time of purchase, and then attempted to explain to him the difference between an implied warranty and an express warranty. I also said that I had the right to a defect-free mower, regardless of any imposed warranty due to a store’s return policy.While doing so, Dan yelled over me, shouted me down, laughed at me, and then threatened legal action if I chose to visit my credit card company’s options for redress.“What would make you stop calling me?” he asked.I explained that I would like (1) free repair, including transportation, (2) free replacement, including transportation, or (3) a full refund.He laughed at me and then said he would call back.He didn’t call back.When I was able to reach him again several days later, he said he’d call me right back.He didn’t call back.When I finally reached him again, he said he had arranged for the lawnmower to be worked on, and gave me the name of the lawnmower repair shop in another town.I called the lawnmower repair shop who confirmed that they had spoken with Dan at Tractor Supply. The pickup was then scheduled the following morning.The repair shop never picked up the mower, and did not call to cancel pickup. I was not able to reach either the repair shop or Dan for three days.Finally, on the fourth day, the woman who answered the phone said, “Yeah, we didn’t pick up your mower because Dan said it had to be a certified Cub Cadet mechanic, and we’re not.”This is why I feel dismissed as a customer, dispensable, and unimportant. I can’t help asking myself if its because I’m a senior, because I’m a woman, or because your employee thinks that I’m stupid enough to be bullied by an insulting ignorant Tractor Supply store manager.Response to reply: I don't know why you are asking that I contact the Customer Service Dept., as I've already done so. Never heard back from ya' all. However, I did receive an email from Tammy who wanted feedback on my interaction with Customer Service! Was NEVER CONTACTED BY TAMMY OR BY CUSTOMER SERVICE. Dislike platitudes.

Place was a bit askew. Isles were dirty, boxes unpacked and out of place also a sale I saw online wasn't active at this location. The staff was talkative and offered to help with what they could.

If this store had better lighting, it would be easier to shop here. My dog and I love their 4health grain free dog food. This store carries the 40 lb bags! Love it!

Be careful of the Lexington Tennessee tractor supply they will call the cops and have you pulled over for shoplifting when you paid for everything you walk out of the store with!!!!!!!

This is a farm store were I buy dog food or farm clothing, fire or gas heating etc. This store is well stocked and there is occasionally a line to check out but never a long wait. Personal are very nice and so helpful. Great place to shop with a good array of items for country living.

The prices are a bit higher than what I pay at the Co Op or other farm supply store however, when we are in need for multiple farm needs like dog food, tractor parts, or clothing and boots, they are the place to go. The Lexington location has some great people working there also. Very helpful!!!

We live in Texas but have family near in a rural area near Lexington, TN and typically visit a couple of times a year, so we like to shop Tractor Supply when we are in town. I ordered a martin house an pole online for in-store pickup as a gift for my mother-in-law's birthday, and they had it ready when we came through town - everything went smoothly there. When we started to assemble the birdhouse, it was apparent that the box had been opened previously, so I was a little worried about that, and it turned out that we were missing 2 interior panels and a couple of other parts.I called the store and asked if they had another one in stock, but they didn't, so I asked if they could get a replacement for us quickly since it was a birthday gift and we were only going to be in town for a few days and wanted to put the birdhouse up while we were there. The lady told me that they had done their job by having the order ready when I picked it up and that I would need order it myself and come pick it up when it arrived. I left my name and number and asked the manager, Dan, to call me hoping that he could help me out. He finally called - 5 days later - after we were already on our way home.Fortunately, I found the same birdhouse in stock at the Waynesboro store, some 30 miles away, so I they held one for me and I picked it up the next day. The folks there were great and helped me make sure that the birdhouse that I got had all of the parts. We got the birdhouse up, and my mother-in-law is very happy with her birthday present after all.I have shopped Tractor Supply stores across west Tennessee in Lexington, Parsons, Waynesboro, Henderson, Jackson and even West Memphis, AR, and the Lexington store is, by far, the most disorganized and least customer friendly of any of those mentioned above. There are usually open boxes of stock sitting around in some area of the store waiting to be shelved, and the area behind the registers seems cluttered too. It's just not a comfortable store to visit, in general.We shop frequently in Lexington because it's the closest Walmart to our family's place, but I'll be making my Tractor Supply runs to Parsons based on my recent experience at the Lexington store.

The stuff you need on a farm. Bulk pet food same price as Wmart. Great selection of fasteners which are also sold by the pound. Good deals on clothing if you catch a sale. House brand (Schmidt) is durable and fits as intended.

Love Tractor Suppy and having nothing against this particular store, HOWEVER, when you sell fine shavings, they should actually be FINE shavings! There is absolutely no difference between the two types of shavings you presently have. Unfortunately this is not the first time we've had this happen with Tractor Suppy Shavings. It may be beneficial for someone to contact your supplier.

Tractor Supply has everything from clothing, boots ,coats hats etc to plumbing supplies, farm equipment and supplies as well AS NAME brand tools . You can get feed for horses , cattle, birds cats and dogs , vaccinations, worming medications, insecticides and seed products. This store has just about anything you need for the farm , homestead or household.
