This is the most convenient place for me to go on my lunch break or whenever I get off of work. Staff is always eager to help, aisles are tight, but they carry a wide selection of items. Lots of times you may have to wait for a clerk because they are stocking merchandise that needs to be put out. I feel safe in this store and environment and that's not the case with most convenient stores. I shop this store at least once a week and I have never seen it dirty or had a bad experience.

Waited in line for several minutes while one cashier waited on 5 people in line to check out. Meanwhile, 2 employees were moving stock from one side of the isle to the other in the back, easily within eye shot of the formed line to check out. This is the reason I don't go to the big stores, to avoid waiting in line. Poor management.

Dollar General on South Broad St is a convenient location. The store is well organized with their stock on shelves (most of the time). Compared to some stores which are like a maze, you can't get down the isles for merchandise in the floor. I find most everything I need & this store deserves a 5 stars ***** rating.

I always like to go in dollar stores simply because I usually know what I need. If you happen to be the type that likes to shop around and see what they have, then there will be plenty for you to do in here. They have lots of great deals and service is usually more than happy to help.

The store is ALWAYS a MESS!! Strown. SO MANY END CAP SHELVES WITHOUT PRICES!!! FREIGHT ALWAYS OUT ON THE SALES FLOOR HINDERING THE BROWSING/SHOPPING EXPERIENCE.By far one of the WORST kept stores I've been in. Cold food section most of the time is within only a couple of days of expiration date.

Worst service ever today . . I was checking out with dryer sheets and arm and hammer pods . I get to the checkout and told the woman I had a coupon for the pods . She said you have to put it in ,in a rude tone . So I proceeded to do so and my number didn’t got through , so she became irritated . I told her to give me a second to see what the issue was . And she said “ What do you not want it “ and I said not unless I can get the coupon to go through . She forcefully grabs the bag and throws it in the floor ! So thanks to the cashier “ Brandy” I will not be shopping here again . !... but after I went to Scotts hill dg and the coupon worked instantly ,so don’t understand the issue but no customer should be treated like a dog !! ...

I go to every dollar general in my area up to 30 miles away to get a favorite of mine that only they carry wont say what it is or itll b gone everytime it comes in. Some other people might get the same idea so sorry I'm stingy when it comes to certain things but I have to say most of their workers are very helpful n kind. In every one of the ones I go into.

Always have certain products very cheap and certain stores have a $1. Isle and if you can catch clearance items you will save a bundle plus you can download their app to use digital coupons!!!

I love dollar store.its near by.it has what I need.easy store.great staff.Terresa is my most favorite all others are great to but Teresa will go out of her way to help even off work.she is great so is my dollar store.5 stars.excellent .

I can't blame the employees or lack of, but it is hard to walk through any isle since they are totally blocked by carts full of unshelved items.

Most of theses stores are so junked up. You can't even get up and down the isles. Way to much stock and to early for each holiday.

Like all dollar general stores they seem to get more inventory than they have shelf space for. Always a lot of boxes and merchandise sitting in the floors blocking some aisles. Seems to be understaffed at times

It's a dollar store. They occasionally have a $5 off your total ticket. That makes up for few employees and the occasional littered aisle.

There's a Dollar General near many small towns where there are no other stores and you don't have to drive half an hour just to get a gallon of milk.
