These people are great! We came in and said everything we were looking for....and left one extra member of the family...we were worried about how new member would act around our current dog but they loved each other at first sight 😆 ❤️

Went to see a beautiful dog. He was huge and more than we could handle, so had to leave him. His picture on the website didn't show how beautiful he is. Go see Frosty.

I adopted "Ayers" from this shelter in November. After discovering him on their Facebook page I knew he had to become part of our family. Yes, had to. I had many questions regarding his needs, health, and likes. Every message, email, and call was responded to quickly and patiently.Ayers was very well cared for during his 4 month stay with them. His medical needs were taken care of, he was clean and in good condition, and he was well loved and happy.The shelter itself is clean and has no odor. It is much better kept than many human housing and care facilities. The food and supplies are are neatly stacked and stored. I was very impressed with the Lewisburg Animal Shelter. They are a small shelter with a big heart and set the bar high for the treatment of the animals in their care.Thank you to the staff and volunteers who work tirelessly together to ensure that every animal who comes through their door has the best experience possible.

Great experience. Went there to look at a cat we found on petfinder and ended up getting her and a sweet dog. They were extremely helpful and nice not sure why there were 2 neg. reviews because our calls and emails were answered promptly and everyone we met were helpful and friendly and you could tell they loved these animals.

Looked online before coming to the shelter with my family. We picked out a couple to go see in person we made sure they said online that the dogs we wanted to see were good with kids. We get there and as soon as we walked in there was 2 Lady's that were so very rude would not let me talk and just told me that they don't have any dogs that are good with kids. And basically kicked us out. She would just like to keep the dogs locked up in dirty cages out side instead of giving them a good loving home where it would become a inside dog. I wish I could give zero stars.

I didn't adopt any animals cuz at the time they didn't have small dogs idk if they do now but they we're really sweet and so were the dogs! Even tho most were large or medium.

The first time I went door was locked even though there was a sign that said open on the door there was a car outside to but no answer this continued for the next few times I came in till a lady answered the door the place smelled of urin the dog we're dirty at best the cages were gross at best I could not breath and the smell was appalling the lady was completely rude ignored us and when she was paying attention to us she seemed to be in a snapy mood constantly so in short I wish I could give it zero stars
