This is the best pet shop we've been to! We came here looking for a female African Fat Tailed gecko. They did not have one but, she ordered one the same day We visited. Within two days, they had the exact gecko we wanted for less than half the price that you could find them anywhere online. We feel very good knowing that be bought a local bred gecko, and not one from a mass producer.They also keep crickets in stock year-round We never have to worry about running out ever again. We will never go anywhere else!

Once again I find myself with you on Google maps, sharing some thoughts and a picture or two. Today we made the trek to Ruff's Pet Shop. I say trek because it's about twenty miles from where we live and is the closest pet store I found. The store is located in a very small strip mall, (only three shops). Ruff's shares the location with a gown and tuxedo store, not sure if that store is rental, a consignment shop, or new. There is also a gun shop. It's a bit of a rundown building being around thirty years old, I'm guessing. Often in this type of setting one can find a real gem. Ruff's falls into this category. It's a mom&pop place, clean and not very large but has just about everything you may need for your beloved pets. The owner, (a very nice lady), said they will soon be adding dog nail clipping and cat grooming for your pleasure. There is a large selection of tropical fish including in tank living small frogs and crabs. I also noticed salt water fish, birds, reptiles, guinea pigs, mice and even a rat or two. There are plenty of accessories, fish tanks and cages available. The staff are very friendly and ready to help in any way they can. For those of you who may have come across any of my other reviews, you will have notice I gave this place a four star rating instead of my normal three stars. Yes, I believe it is that good of a store. "You gave it a four, why not a five star rate." you might ask. I feel that there is always room for improvement. Oh, I almost forgot. At check out you will be asked to enter your cell phone number on a small kiosk. This is, of course, strictly voluntary and a refusal will in no way affect their attitude nor what you pay. It's for their VIP Rewards Program. Checking in each time you shop will earn you rewards. You will also receive up to six text messages a month alerting you of any specials going on. So, if you're ever in the Lenoir City TN. area stop in at Ruff's Pet Shop, you'll find it a nice, friendly place to visit.

Absolutely thrilled with their grooming services! They are quick and have very reasonable prices. I dropped off both my dogs and got a call 2 hours later to say that they were finished.Grooming is done in an area at the back of the store -- you can't see inside, but you can hear the groomers while they work. You can hear their love for what they do and the kind attention they show the dogs under their care. I'll never consider going anywhere else!

How.... JUST HOW CAN YOU CALL YOURSELF A GROOMER AND DO THIS TO MY BABY!!! Took my baby to Ruff's Pet Shop, he did have some matts around his neck and was in desperate need a desheddng... But this, this was unnecessary and uncalled for. He is a Husky, you don't shave Husky's...where the exact words spoken by the owner when I spoke to her on the phone and I specifically said DO NOT SHAVE HIM. I am so angry right now, my poor baby!!!

Grooming: Owner seems to be sweet. Grooming is not good. They told us cash only after Grooming. They didn't bathe my dog. Didn't clean her ears at all. Reccomend the business maybe not the Grooming.

Owner is a wonderful nice lady. It's a small town pet shop with options ranging from fish,snakes,lizards and spiders. They offer services like pet sitting(they will watch over your pet , groom it ,feed it , house it while you're away for the week or weekend. They also have a critter tab where you can pay for the critters one time and just stop by and grab a few dozen when you need them. This is one of my top 3 pet places to go to if you are ever in the Lenoir city TN area.

Love this shop! Excellent customer service. They took my dog in short notice to trim her nails. I then made an appointment for grooming. I had recent foot surgery, Patti was thoughtful and came to my car to get my dog. Bailey was finished in less than an hour. She brought her to my car for me. I will definitely take Bailey there regularly for grooming.

We get our dog groomed at Ruff's, and they do a very good job for a more than reasonable price. Also if you have an aquarium, for a small shop, they have a very good selection of fish, supplies, etc. Very nice people . They have other pets too.

had absolutely terrible quality with a half dead bearded dragon. the tarantula had no hide or anything. the pac man frog was in standing water with no surface area to get out of which will kill it. everything there was in poor health and everything is over priced. very poor health and care in general.

H hello my name is Caleb Johnson I started going to Ruffs a pet shop in Lenoir City TN about a year ago when I got a bearded dragon that was two years old. Had no idea how to take care of it and Ruffs showed me the ins and outs they’re very knowledgeable very well at taking care of animals one of them I believe is actually a license vet. I recommend them over any big pet supply chain just because the knowledge and the prices are actually cheaper it’s right off 321 Delete Highway 321 right past Weigles on the right next to Allen’s gun shop. I 100% recommend at least visit they do dog grooming Fingernail clipping for all animals my bearded dragon and my three dogs she sixth my bearded dragon and my snake. It’s the only

My shihzhu gets so excited to see Missy! He wasn't a very kind dog to groom due to some poor experiences in the past. She worked with him very gently and slowly the first few visits and gained his trust. He behaves quite well for her now! We just left the shop today!
