I hate this dollar general. Every time I go in I walk out saying I'll never go back but this time I mean it. Either I getting hit by things falling off the shelves or the employees are rude, or just don't want to do their jobs. I just ran in to get some redbulls. There were cigarettes put out on top of the redbulls this time. I've been hit with whole drink caddies that are supposed to be bolted to the shelves. It seems nobody wants to check out customers, due to the fact that there were 5 people in line for the ONE self check. I detest this store and if I have any kind of option this will have been my last visit.

Im not sure which location this is posting to but I'm gonna assume its one of the Lenoir city or possibly the Farragut branches in their Tennessee stores however I can say the employees at either of the stores I mentioned above were very friendly and polite and fairly knowledgeable of the store like if you ask "can you please tell me where the turkey basters might be found ?" . if they don't know it, they'll stop what they're doing and help you look until its found or determined to be something they just don't carry ! Lol...anyway, good people,fair pricing,what more can you ask for in a place. They're a little cramped,is why I kept one star. And when they're crowded its a nightmare for that reason !

I love this store .. the manager works every day .. she is a tireless worker. Always has an ear open to hear customer requests and makes them happen. She has a great cashier named Jacob that I enjoy talking with while checking out. The store is always sparkling clean, very well organized and items are placed as specified by home office, I see her following suggested shelf diagrams suggesting ways the stock should be displayed. Things are not piled on or shoved in spaces they do not belong. Unlike to same chain store 4 miles down on Kingston Highway. It’s always a wreck and I shelved stock jamming isle ways, making it difficult to maneuver for those without walking aids like crutches or have shoulder in a sling. So.. stop and shop at this store. I believe it should be a model store for new employees to visit, an example of what to do and to it well.

This store has gone downhill since it opened. Most of the time we have to go to another dollar general to get what we need because once they run out of something they never get it back in. They are always out of Friskies packets wet cat food and purina sensitive skin and stomach cat food. My cat has a skin allergy and that’s the only brand of food that we buy. They also just don’t have the assortment of items that the dollar general on Kingston Highway has and the Farragut store has. We were told it because of delayed trucks several times but nothing has changed.

Actually it was a bad experience because I have been sick for about 3months now. I guess people that don't have this kind of. Sickness ...well they won't understand it at all. The condition is not covid and it isn't even similar. The cashier that was ringing up my merchandise started spouting off about me having , covid and I politely told her .I had been to my ear ,nose ,and throat doctor.I had a Covid test and it was negative. So I actually have been tested multiple times and confirmed. ..no covid. The next cashier did pretty much the same thing. Then 4 comments were made between the too... Talking about me like I was not even there. It was very rude and extremely unprofessional. I always enjoyed visiting the store and now I pretty much cringe at the thought of going in there hoping that those two judgmental cashiers are not the ones that are on duty and that I have to be at the mercy of their comments again and again.

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE EMPLOYEES!!! THEY ARE ALWAYS SO WONDERFUL AND HELPFUL AND OVERALL AMAZING!! I HOPE THESE EMPLOYEES ARE AROUND FOR A VERY VERY LONG TIME!!!! I JUST LOVE THEM!!! ❤❤❤ IM GO THANKFUL FOR THESE VERY HELPFUL EMPLOYEES!!! ANY AND EVERY QUESTION I HAD WAS EASILY ANSWERED!! AND WITH A GIANT SMILE AS WELL!!! EVEN AFTER A LONG DAY THEY ARE ALWAYS SO SWEET AND PATIENT!!! ❤❤❤ 10 STARS HIGHLY RECOMMEND ✨ 😍

This review is from Jan. 2023. The store may be under renovations bc the shelves were empty. A lot of items don't have prices on them. I would go to another one.

My daughter told me that you could go to Dollar Tree or Everything is the best rate we pay. I’m going to try Dollar General for cleaning supplies.
