I’ve always groomed my Maltese myself because he is so anxious. I recently hurt my shoulder and was unable to do it myself. I contacted Barkmore Inn and Salon and they were very helpful and suggested that he should be the first groom of the day. They were able to get him groomed and he was back home before 10:00. Furthermore, June did an excellent job on his cut. My husband said, “It’s the best he’s ever looked.” I have to agree. They definitely are a great place for grooming. Winston will definitely be back.

We love this place! It’s so hard to find affordable pet boarding with top notch care! We have stayed here for boarding and grooming. From the moment we drove up, our dog was excited and he loves it here. They offer a bath (for a small fee) before boarding pick up so our dog always smells fresh. Our dog is a rambunctious puppy who needs help and training for grooming and the staff here is willing to take on the challenge and helping teach the dog to behave. When our dog had some health issues, they were concerned and helped with continuous care. You can tell Ginger and her staff love what they do and take care of our dog!! Thank you!

Without hesitation I give Barkmore Inn and my groomer Aimee my highest rating. My Yorkie Zorro can be difficult to groom, and sometimes a “tad wild”. Aimee has proven to be very loving, caring and Barkmore has been a very pleasurable experience for Zorro. I searched for many years to find the right facility and couldn’t be more pleased. Do your dog and yourself a favor and upgrade to the Barkmore experience.

We love this place. We have been taking our labradoodle there for a little over a year, and they have always done a fabulous job. We schedule appointments every 6 weeks, they are very accommodating with early appointment times so we can drop our dog off on the way to work. The facility is super clean and all the staff members are very friendly, professional, and great with my dog. Their pricing is very fair and I have never been disappointed by their work.We have taken our dog there a couple times to be boarded while we were on vacation. We love taking her there because they have a huge fenced in grassy area for the dogs to play. One thing that I wish we would have known when it comes to picking up when your dog is being boarded, is that you need to pick them up early in the day or they charge you for another day. I believe this policy is fair, you just need to know ahead of time that you need to pick them up early to save a little bit of money.Every time we go there our dog is super excited and loves all the staff members. Make sure to schedule your appointment a few weeks in advance, since they are one of the best in the area their schedule stays very full. We try to book our appointments 6 weeks ahead of time so we can get days that are convenient for our schedule.

I found myself needing to board my precious dog for almost 3 months this summer, and I did not know where to turn. For years I have been taking him to my vet, but I knew that my dog needed extra tender loving care and good attention while I was gone. Well, when I found Barkmore Inn and Salon, I hit the jackpot! Months before I left, I contacted the owner, and we made arrangements for her to meet with our dog; she assured me of all the things that she could do to make him feel at home, loved, exercised, healthy, and comfortable. I was moved to see she loved on him right away at our first meeting. Another thing I noticed when I first went there was that the place was so clean! I also saw that my dog would have a nice place outside to run about. She is very organized and knows and loves all her pets. While I was gone, she sent pictures of our dog, and I could tell that he was happy. She went over and above and made him a part of the family there. When I got back, I was overjoyed to see that our dog was in good spirits and well cared for. I cannot say enough good about Barkmore Inn or the owner, Ginger Pritchett. Do not hesitate to bring your dog to stay there — whether for one day, one week, one summer, or just for grooming! You’ll both be glad!

I took my 2 dogs to this place. I was 10 minutes late and the lady told me next time I would have to pay for that. It was raining out. traffic was bad, oh my. Then she told me $65 each for the hair cut. When I go back to pick dogs up, she charges me more because of matted dog hair. Granted one was pretty bad, The other had one matt on its leg. I wouldn't have minded being charged extra, but she should have told me up front, not afterwards. I could have cut my dogs hair as well as this place. And the attitude, very poor!!!! I left a tip for the late fee. Never go back!!

Our doodle is as much apart of the family as the children. We have been taking her to Barkmore for a year now and have had Brittney grooming her. I am always very impressed with the grooming and I love the service!I get text updates and pictures from my groomer who always does a wonderful job with my doodle.I would highly recommend Barkmore

Ginger (owner) does an amazing job with grooming and sitting/watching my pup! My dog Cooper has stayed there overnight several times while I've traveled for work or even on vacations, and they take great care of him each time. Barkmore Inn & Salon is the only place I'll trust with leaving Cooper overnight.

I have used this company for over a year now to board my baby. They are kind, prompt & take wonderful care of my boy. I suffer with anxiety & Ginger is so patient with me whenever I get worried (there’s nothing to worry about). She takes so many precautions to assure their safety as well as the rest of her staff. I highly recommend this company for boarding. We have used them & only them 6+ times. Everyone I have encountered has been exceptional. My little boy always has a blast. We are so grateful to have them.

An amazing experience! We boarded our pup for a week and we never worried once! We were comforted with frequent updates and photos/videos of our puppy while we were gone! Very flexible drop off and pickup which was a blessing for all the traffic we ran into coming home. Definitely will visit for all our boarding needs!!

What a fantastic and convenient groomer! My yorkie poo has wavy hair so he never seems to get a good hair cut- but Ginger and her team made my little guy look like quite the stud!! I am so pleased with the service here, they even took a Christmas picture of my little guy! It is also extremely clean inside which is something you rarely see at a groomers! I will be an exclusive customer!

Would not recommend this grooming facility to anyone. My dog was a totally different dog after being groomed at this facility. As soon as we got in the car to go home, she was howling in pain and trembling from head to toe. She was refusing to walk when we got home. When I picked her up to go inside, she yelled in pain, and almost bit me!!After taking her to the vet, I was told she had been traumatized in someway, and her leg was dislocated!!!!I called owner of barkmore, and was told it "is very common" for a dogs leg to be dislocated when having their nails cut!!And if my dog HAD gotten hurt in any way while being groomed, the groomer did not have to provide that info to me!!It had taken my dog over 2 weeks to get back to normal. She was so traumatized she would not even go outside for 2 weeks......she was afraid!!Granted,accidents can happen to any pet while being groomed.....but it is un excusable for an owner to respond the way she did! She didn't seem to care, and never even contacted me check to see how my dog was doing. She acted as if what had happened to my dog was normal!I've owned dogs for 17yrs and have never had this issue Or response from an owner of the grooming facity!!IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS, DONT TAKE THEM TO THIS FACILITY!!!!! I know we will not be back.

I board my two elderly medium size dogs there when I travel. Ginger and staff really care about all the dogs, and do an excellent job. I highly recommend! Tip: Call Early, they fill up fast, but in my experience they accommodate as best possible. Excellent local small business. One of my dogs gets groomed there as well, and I am very happy with that work.

I have been bringing my mini poodle, Tucker, to Brittney at Barkmore grooming for about 6 months and she is amazing. Tucker is a very anxious dog but she handles him with kindness and patience and his haircuts are always consistent and beautiful. The facility is very clean and very professionally handled. I started taking my dog WhiteSox (Sox) to Barkmore the summer that Ginger opened for doggie day care. He absolutely loved it and was always happy and exhausted every day that I picked him up. Her associate Lindsi is amazing and they really know there stuff. I have also boarded Sox here and he thinks it's like going to camp. The facilities are clean, her security measures are top of the line, and I always have full confidence that Sox is treated like family there. This is my go to boarder hands down! Thanks to Ginger and all of her staff for caring so well for my boy!

I was desperately looking for a boarding home for my Toy Poodle over the Christmas holidays and Barkmore Inn & Salon made their kennels available last minute for my fur baby. Ginger was so great with my puppy. I received daily updates/pictures on his activities and she even groomed him perfectly! I was able to enjoy my Christmas vacation without stressing over the care of my puppy. I will definitely use Barkmore Inn & Salon for all my doggy daycare needs as well as any boarding or grooming needs in the future. Barkmore Inn & Salon provides affordable top-notch service!

Highly recommend Barkmore for dog grooming. Clean and pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices. Ginger was so warm and friendly. Our 7 yr old golden retriever had a great experience. He not only looks great, but he was not forced into a cage upon arrival. Ginger also gave him a treat bag of homemade dog biscuits. Have tried several groomers in the area, and this is definitely our favorite.

Stephanie cuts our little doggie’s (Roxy) hair in a very cute manner. She texts a glamor beauty photo of our dog when her appointment is over. I can’t say enough nice comments about the staff at this place. Always positive and professional with me and they get there at five in the morning. The energy of the staff encourages me to go home and get more done around the house.

Ginger does an amazing job with our dog Lily!! We have Lily groomed and boarded at Barkmore and we couldn’t be happier with the level of care she receives!! Ginger is meticulous about her cut, always making sure we like it and keeps Lily looking adorable!! Also, when Lily is boarded, Ginger treats her like one of her own pups, even allowing her to sleep in her room so she doesn’t get lonely!! Wonderful experience with Barkmore Inn & Salon! Ginger and Laura were so accommodating to squeeze our two very big (and very furry) pups in at the last minute this weekend, and did an amazing job with both. This was the first time our golden retriever (8y/o) and flat-coated retriever (4y/o) have been professionally groomed, and they came out looking and smelling wonderful; trimmed around the ears, toes and tails, and the pesky undercoat shedded. These ladies were so good to our sweet pups and I know we picked the right place for their first grooming!
