ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE - HOME DEPOT RUINED CHRISTMASNEVER LET THEM INSTALL YOUR APPLIANCES!EDIT: Needed to clear the Bosch name. Come to find out the dishwasher likely wasn't defective at all, it was just installed terribly by HD's joke of an install team. They left the dishwasher spraying water all up underneath the washer and soaked my subfloor. Dried it out over night and was able to sure up the water connections and now the dishwasher seems to be running fine.Going to test it out a bit longer before canceling the replacement, but I will certainly be asking for my install fee back since I basically had to reinstall the thing properly myself.OLD REVIEW:I tried to buy and have installed a nice new dishwasher for my family to surprise my wife for Christmas. I paid 1600+ AMERICAN DOLLARS for a really nice Bosch dishwasher. The one they delivered worked for about .03 nanoseconds before popping an error code.Had to call the install team back out, who then told me that the dishwasher was defective and would need to be replaced. I said "Cool, go grab another one from the store and I will wait here for you." They informed me that I would have to call a 1-800 number, wait on hold for 20-30 mins and then FINALLY I got the answer that I could not get another replacement until Jan. 2nd.No offer of a discount. No offers to try and make it right before Christmas. This might be the last purchase I ever make from HD, I am usually a Lowe's guy anyway, I was only going with HD because they had the dishwasher I wanted. This experience has reminded me of why I always preferred Lowe's.Home Depot corporate does not care about it's customers. They are basically the Grinch. Please keep them away from Whoville.Attached: the sad note I had to give my wife for Christmas instead of a functional dishwasher.Attached addendum: The reinstall and water damage caused by the Home Depot install team.

I've always been pretty well off and even met a help guy who helped with the equipment I needed for my water heater. But when I came last night to get the water heater original, they told me not to worry ,on a Fri night, that they could have it done by Saturday night. So I waited this morning and found out it would not be till Monday or Tuesday. I was given a small discount that was the same as my military discount, I believe. But I was hot while I waited half a day I have off for them then spent the better half of 4 hours getting everything I could have gotten last night and crawling under my house to do the job. Just be true to your word and understand your company better. The false hope really messed up the few days I have off between 2 jobs and other house repairs I'm working to.

When loading a shower door into the bed of my truck, the associate helping me load the truck, shoves the cart right under my tailgate and scratched it! It even has the orange homedepot paint left weeks after! Made a claim and they’re only willing to pay half the damages. GO TO LOWES!!!

Store is nice, clean, maintained well, carts are clean, easy to find the products, staffs are always helpful here if you need any help on finding your product. Product management like placing and availability are good. I reduced the star because I went to store to find Sonos speaker which said it was on stock but somehow I am not able to find aisle though one staff recommend the section to look for. Apart from above quality of product is not an issue at this store.

Normally I love home Depot. Unfortunately I'm here on a Saturday. I'm trying to purchase almost $30,000 worth of materials and they're telling me that we can't use the protest. We have to march nine carts and three pallets All the way down to the opposite side of the store for customer service in order for them to ring us up only to have us bring it back down to the other end of the store. The assistant manager doesn't know what to do. Said there's no possible way that we can be helped. Can't find the actual manager in here for 3 hours and that must admit with my company and the other companies I'm in line with and we shop here and use home Depot so much. We literally spend millions of dollars a year here and to be treated so negatively and poorly by the assistant manager and the workers here is just ridiculous. I'm seriously questioning my business account and my time and all of my other companies and what not with this facility. Smh. You must do better home Depot. This is terrible. You're about to lose a lot of money because of bad attitude employees

Store had everything I was looking for except knowledgeable employees. When I finally tracked down an employee they were rude and just not very competent. That's why I will shop at Lowe's from now on. This and Lowe's really great military veterans benefits has made me love them. Sorry Home Depot I gave you a shot you just came up short.

I have had the worst experience buying a fridge. We just moved into a brand new house, on summer break from school. No fridge for 2 weeks, since the first one came in damaged. Then our 2nd delivery drove by and never stopped. Never rang the bell never knocked...we were home!!! Cars in the garage. So almost 3 weeks after I should have gotten my fridge I painted a sign I stuck in my yard stating...WE ARE HERE.

The last 2 times I've gone there to spend money I've been completely ignored, with the last time arriving shortly after open and walking in to at least 6 employees not acknowledging my existence at all. No eye contact, not a single good morning or how ya doing. In fact the first words spoken to me were after I finished checking out after they had my money. I guess my money isn't green enough to get a decent greeting, will be going out of my way to not shop there here on out. I'll pay more at an ace or true value

False advertising. They place pricing info on their merchandise offering discounts for purchasing quantities. They do not honor their word when you check out. We attempted to purchase 4 air filters. They refused to discount the purchase to the price stated on the tag (see picture) for a quantity of 4 or more because 2 filters were one size and 2 filters were another size. All these type filters had the same sticker. Nothing on that sticker limits the purchase to one size to receive the discount. Isn't that bait and switch?

Rented this tow behind auger for a weekend project, didn't even make it 30 miles to home before the wheel bearing seized and the tire popped from being drug. Then on further examination about 6 bolts were loose making the machine dangerous to even use! When we called the manager they didn't even seem bothered that the machine could have injured someone severely. Home Depot needs to do better! These machines need constant maintenance

Update 4/26: awesome help, awesome guy Shane. I asked for a 4x4 10’ that I was buying to be cut and half and they did it quickly and accurately! I had just come from Lowes where they acted like I was insane for asking the same thing and refused to do it.Update: since our bad experience I can say Home Depot has had everything I have needed including plants during the colder months. ( which is the perfect time to plant trees/shrubs)..Old review: Wife purchased a John Deere z345m mower for my birthday @2980.00 tax and delivery with delivery set for a week later on 9/7. Let me just say I wasnt aware Home Depot gives a mind blowing, ridiculous 14 hour window for deliveries 6am-8pm and then out sources the delivery! I called 4 times on the day of delivery and was told The first 3 times that it was on its way (store 7 miles from me) the 4th call was at 8:30pm and I was told their outsourced delivery guy never even showed up that day and my mower had never left the store. I wasted the whole day waiting! They were nice about giving me a refund and I then went directly to the John Deere dealer.

WATCH OUT FOR THEIR NEW RETURN POLICY! NOT GOOD FOR THE CUSTOMERS!!!!Bought stain for our newly built home as the builder said it’s only at Home Depot.Live a long distance so when we made a trip to the airport we stopped along the way to get some on hand.We found one can was bad after trying to do touch ups..Tried to bring it back to exchange for another can. Manager Mey said you can’t if you have no receipt and anything over 3 mos. No Returns.Home improvements are continuous !So DO NOT buy things you aren’t going to use within 3 mos or you are OUT OF LUCK even with a receipt at Home Depot! BAD POLICY!!!!SHOP AT LOWES !

Home depot partners with a shady company called rain soft who tries to scam you into buying an expensive water filtering system that you don’t need. They approach you in the store and entice you with a HD gift card to get a quick water test. They then send a pushy and rude sales person to your home who will try to scare you into thinking your water is killing you and that you need their $9000 system. They also have an ongoing lawsuit for their shady business practices. Partnering with this shady company reflects very poorly upon home depot and I will not be shopping here anymore.

I wanted to remodel my kitchen. That's how it started. In August 2022 I contracted the home Depot to do the job. They told me it would take 20 weeks to get my materials in but they wanted everything paid up front. I gritted my teeth about the time frame and paid the bill. There was very little contact with me from August to December. I did add an additional corner cabinet which was put on a separate order. In December, they called me to let me know my order was in and now they needed to set up an installation date ... and the 1st date they had was March 21. I was not happy but they had all my money ... what choice did I have. I waited for the 21st when they showed up ... the order was short 1 complete cabinet, 4 wrong sized doors, As they were being refaced, that shorted everything. When the installer finished that day he apologized and went away with 2 pages of a punch list to complete. No calls for approx 7 weeks and finally on April 20 the installer calls me to let me know he's coming. To make this nightmare story shorter, on August 17 after 3 more tries to get the corner doors completed correctly, the job was finished.Lesson: if you want a new look to your cabinets, it's easier and about the same cost to get new ones than to reface them. If you want any communication with the company doing the job, DON'T use Home Depot. The installers are good but the management is terrible. And any normal construction job is paid in installments NOT up front!!

BUYER BEWARE!I love to write reviews; especially positive ones. Unfortunately, this is not the case at hand today. Approximately 6 weeks ago we purchased this Whirlpool refrigerator from The Home Depot (shipped from Lebanon, TN). They were late delivering the item, but finally got it here. Everything has gone downhill from there...The delivery crew REFUSED to change the door directions upon delivery; so they opened opposite of where they needed to be. We called the store; they had a completely different company return the call and schedule a service tech to come out (10 days later) and change the door direction.Next we noticed frost building up in the freezer, while fresh milk, cream and meat were spoiling in the refrigerator. We called The Home Depot for a needed repair. They (once again) had a different company return the call almost a week later, and scheduled a repair technician. He arrived, said he located a problem with the initial installation and corrected it. We cleaned all the frost out of the freezer, spoiled items from the fridge and went about our way.Not a week later frost starts to form in the freezer (again), and we lost another gallon of cream and milk and more fresh meat, along with fresh vegetables and eggs spoiling because now they are freezing inside the refrigerator. We place another call to the store, and they claim Maytag will have to contact us to take care of the problem and warranty. We explain that we did not purchase said refrigerator or warranty from Maytag, but from The Home Depot. They refused to warranty this, claiming they had to have Maytag contact us. Please note this timeframe was now into the 1st week of December 2021.We cleaned the frost (again) and have continued our attempts to contact the appliance Manager at The Home Depot (Lebanon, TN) store; each time being assured that she is attentive and will call back. So far she has had two (2) different employees return a call, but she (herself) has not; and there is still NO RESOLUTION.The posted pictures are from Christmas Eve (12/24/2021). The frost is MEASURABLE y'all, MEASURABLE... To date, both Maytag and The Home Depot have continued to refuse warranty of this (clearly) defective item.Bad form #Maytag and #TheHomeDepot, bad form. I would give a ZERO-STARS review if it were possible. Instead, as a confirmed local guide on Google, I leave this BUYER BEWARE review. Which I will be cross-posting on The Home Depot and Maytag websites directly.

I remember why when I lived in Lebanon, that I hated Home Depot. Lack of customer service. I am disabled. I was looking for one item. I walked the store for nearly an hour with no one offering to help. I then started asking. That did no good. Five associates asked, five different answers or points. No one really knew where the item was that I was looking for. I would give negative stars if I could. Horrible.

I was at Home Depot today and had almost a 💯 perfect day. It started with Landon & Justin helping me pull the lumber I needed, with absolutely Great Customer Service. Then Madison was doing a great job checking me out, when she needed a key for some of the cull lumber that was discounted. Christy came over and proceeded with a very bad attitude. Gave Madison a hard time in front of the customers. Just to confirm if anyone at my wife’s business would have talked to a cashier the way Madison was talked to they would have been looking for a new job.However the loading process was also a Great experience. Cody, Landon & Nick did an Awesome Job loading my vehicle. I may not have spent a lot of money today but $1,000 is a lot to me. And with it being so hard to find good employees I hope Home Depot can straighten this problem out.Thank you

Terrible customer service. Their delivery team messed up our fridge and we’ve been in a fight for months on them replacing it. We bought the extended warranty and apparently they does not cover delivery install. I will not be recommending them to anyone. Even the Hermitage store manager said If the fridge had been delivered from his store we would have a new fridge already. Also - stay away from LG products. Never purchase a LG fridge.

Worst customer service experience ever!I tried to place an online order. After using a gift card, they canceled the order saying payment was declined. I tried calling customer service three times. The first time, they said they would replace the gift card and didn't, the second time they put me on hold for over half an hour, and the third time the customer service representative basically told me too bad and was rude. I've been a loyal Home Depot customer for years and have spent many thousands of dollars there, but no more.

Been here twice this week waited over 2 hrs first day just to get help loading a sink on a buggy and to get help in paint which ended up not having. Next trip waited 1 1/2 hrs for someone to come assist me with a patio table. Was gonna order my quartz counter tops here not now heading to lowes where service is available.
