Houndstooth does an amazing job with both of our dogs. Eden and the rest of the staff are super friendly. They pace the grooming throughout the day so that the dogs aren’t too worked up. We are always pleased with the results and at an affordable price too.

I would never take my dogs back hete. The staff is not friendly and my dogs that have been groomed for years; came out of there with heads down plus shaking for hours when we got home.

They were wonderful with my baby, Smokey! He looks so good after being groomed there by Heather and I even got a report card of how he did being groomed - which is great to know areas that we can carryover at home to help make grooming a great experience for both Smokey and the groomer. I will continue to be a customer

My first time getting my dog groomed here was a fine experience, however my second time getting my dog groomed at this salon was different. I dropped my dog off at 8am for his appointment and didn’t hear anything until 3pm later that day. I received a phone call that he was matted and that they had to shave him. I was hesitant to let them because I don’t believe my dog was matted, I comb him often and have done well maintaining his fur for 2 years with regular grooming at pet salons and my own combing and bathing him in between. I said yes to them shaving him but expressed my concerns. Later at 5pm I decided to drive to the groomers to see if my dog was ready. He has been gone since 8am at this point, 9 hours which is longer than many peoples’ work day. I was told he wasn’t ready to which I expressed my concerns again at why it was taking so long and what was happening. The fact that they do not allow anyone inside of their facilities is concerning, what is happening behind closed doors. Is my dog in a safe and clean environment while he is waiting for hours? I am not able to pick my dog up until 6pm. When I get him back, the gentleman gives me a brochure on how to comb a dog and attempts to demonstrate on my dog all while my dog clearly wants away from this man. I tell him it’s fine, pay, and then I noticed he has some patches of skin missing from his nose. The man says he will go and ask the groomer. Conveniently his nose was like that when the grooming began. The man tried to say that my dog must lick his nose a lot or something which doesn’t even make sense. If a dog licks their nose, it loses color, not skin. It was clear this man did not care whatsoever about my dog’s wellbeing and mainly just cares about the bottom line. I would like to note that not a single cuss word was uttered during my interactions with the staff because that seems to be how this owner dismisses complaints.I guess you don’t listen either, I never told you I didn’t have a comb 🙄If someone didn’t show and you don’t have the time to properly care for a dog, cancel the appointment. Don’t keep a dog all day, you could have given us a choice. You’re a liar and you don’t deserve the one star you got

Houndstooth takes amazing care of our babies! We have been there for a long time, 8 yrs. Bosco loves it there! He loves all the staff there too. He gets groomed there and also goes to the doggie daycare. The staff really cares about the dogs. It’s a wonderful place.

I LOVE this place! I take both of my bloodhounds there. They do such a great job every single time. I used to take my 8 year old bloodhound there years ago before he passed away and fell in love with them ever since. Now my bloodhounds Haley and Houston go and they smell so good when they’re all done and they take such good care of them while they are there. The staff is friendly and the place is clean! 5 stars for them :)

We love this place for boarding and grooming. Our dog is a regular at Houndstooth and probably the best compliment we can give is that when he gets out of the car he will literally drag us to the door in his excitement to go play with his doggie friends. Their daycare and overnight rates are quite low compared to similar facilities. When we pick our dog up he is happy, clean, and most importantly he's tired from having a day filled with play.

This is the best boarding and doggy daycare ever, The staff are awesome, my two babies are Chihuahua's and u know how skittish they can be, after staying there a few days while I was out of town. I went to pick them up and I could not believe how much they loved the staff, It is so obvious how well they are taken care of. I will continue using them as boarding and using the doggy daycare to socialize my pups to people and other dogs. Houndstooth gets a 5 star +++++++ from me. I would recommend them to anyone, No more worries on my part when going out of town.Thank u again Houndstooth staff for taking care of my babies as I would, it's a home away from home for them.

This is an awesome place for your fur babies! Even if your babies are there for a while due to the number of dogs getting groomed, the staff loves on them and takes such good care with them. My little ones love going there and love the staff!

When you drop off your fur baby at 8:30am and when you call at 3:00pm and they tell you your little one will be ready for pick (done) at 6:00pm. That’s over 9 hours. No thank you. I was thanking, does my dog get water? do they take him out? What in the hell is this place doing. Not for me or my little one. Go else where.Still not happy with your service. 8::30am to 6:00pm….. SorryI did not Curse your staff out……. 🐾🌻🐾

Fantastic service - every time! They really do care about their customers interests and not just their dollars. My doggy gets excited every time we pass by their building. I have been with them since they started up and the consistency in quality service and smiles is something other businesses should refer to.

I took my 3 year old pit bull here to be groomed & she loved it. Everyone told me how wonderful she was & I know she loved all the attention lol. I highly recommend to anyone needing to get their pet groomed.

I drive 400 miles round trip to take my disabled friend's Yorkie for grooming. Love the haircut, bath, and nail trim that they give here. His dog loves the groomer so much that she plants kisses all over her face! Only bad thing is I have to drop her off and go back to pick her up and it is 30 miles away! She is worth it, though!

We just had a horrible experience with this company. We have used them for years to groom our dog. They are not very organized but nothing that would cause us to terminate our relationship. However, after we spoke to them today I will never use them again. We had a death in the family and let them know that we would not need to kennel our dog. We were notified that we would be charged our full deposit. We even attempted to use that fee for grooming. The owner was not helpful. This is why little companies go out of business and big companies succeed. Poor customer service!!!

I took my Yorkie to them that I had been grooming myself for 9+ years. RA in my hands made it impossible for me to continue cutting her hair. At the recommendation of a friend, I took Gracie to be groomed after not having been given a haircut in over two months. Words cannot express how beautiful my little dog looked when I picked her up three hours later. Houndstooth Grooming will groom Gracie from now on as I am more than pleased with the job they did. We take our pups there for grooming, Marcie is awesome! I have a pup Macy with a heart condition and she hates to be away from the other pup Molly. Marcie baths them together and does everything possible to keep little Macy from feeling any stress. The staff if always polite and Karen is awesome! My husband and I are always greeted with open arms and everyone knows they have to be together. We just had professional pictures done by a photographer at their shop and Karen bless her heart told the lady to keep Macy next to Molly. They are the best and care about your pets!

I had a bad experience with a front desk person, lost paperwork, rudeness. The owner Karen, called me and fixed the whole thing. Happy to deal with people that admit mistakes and fix them, truly serving their customers. We all have issues, it's how they are handled that makes or breaks.
