My dog loves the groomer she always does just what we ask. A tad expensive but you get what you pay for. The Vet is very nice and seems to care about her.

LaVergne Veterinary clinic has really gone downhill over the years. This place is really nasty!! It's filthy, gross and the staff are questionable, too. Book an appointment and see for yourself. All they care about is giving your pets unnecessary shots, which I feel, has shortened the lifespan of all my dogs under their care. Needless to say, my fur babies deserve better than this unsanitary, money pit.

I've carried my little dog there for two years and pay cash each time that I visited it's never been under $100,ever and at times a couple close to 300. My Little Friend was sick,and when I say that I mean sick to where I thought he would not make it, and I couldn't get them to even take him in or let him in the door or even come out and see him and I was willing to give everything I had which was about 60 bucks Total. It's my understanding they care. That's their own words and we Trust them their supposed to be caring for animals,our Friends.That's all right,God ,he knows, He placed his creatures in our hands, and what was done that day was abuse and mistreatment of one of those creatures because of a few dollars. Shame On Them

My dogs have been patients for more than 15 years and all the doctors and staff maintain high standards of professional expertise, advice and care about my pets. I have never had any complaint about the care my dogs received here. They now have grooming available and if you cannot do it yourself be advised that their rates are very reasonable.

Front desk staff is nice however, on my last visit i was told that they were going to work with me on my dog's anxiety issues and that there were several medications to try but when i called to give an update on the medication prescribed (which i had been asked to do) i was told there was nothing else they could do except send him to a specialist. That was completely opposite to what i had been told in person. I just wish they had been up front about what they were able to do. I will be taking my dog to another vet.

I just want to let everyone know what an amazing vet Dr. Tim was to my Pomeranian. He and the staff went above and beyond to make sure my sweet baby was okay. She woke up this morning and was unable to walk. He kept her all day and monitored her closely. Dr. Tim did everything he possibly could. He was extremely nice and narrowed down the possibilities of what was wrong and he even printed me out information to take home. He was very thorough with explaining everything down to every detail. I highly recommend Lavergne Veterinary Clinic. They were amazing!! Thank you guys so much for everything!!!

I have used this practice since 2004, with an exception to emergency after hours, I will continue to use this practice. They care about your companion and are friendly, and go above and beyond. I highly recommend this Veternarian clinic. The Veternarians, staff, and assistant vets are outstanding.

When I first moved to La Vergne 5 years ago this was the vet that was chose to take care of our animals. Over the years we have used them to boarder our dogs when we travel. On our last trip we would be gone for a week, our longest time away ever. And it was going to be over the fourth of July holiday. When our dogs were dropped off we explained that the youngest, a two year old, was terrified of fireworks and would need some extra care. We gave some all natural calming vitamins and asked for them to be given to her at night before any fireworks would begin. When we returned she was a mess. They had allowed her to cry until she no longer had a voice. It would take 3 days for her to have her full voice back. Also, they had allowed her to dig at her kennel until her paws bled. The raw pads of her paws had dried blood around them. While we have always had great vet care from Dr. Tim, the "we will look into it" response wasn't enough in my opinion. We will never use their services again.

First time visiting. I have a new Yorkie poo puppy, she's a tiny 3.8 lbs. She was sleeping too much and not eating enough. The staff was amazing, they were calm and kind and gentle to my baby girl puppy. When the vet came to check her out he surprised me by playing with her and talking sweet to her. He made me feel she was important to him. That means so much !

I have been going to this clinic for many years. I am always touched by the caring of the staff and doctors. Dr. Prater really puts the care of the pets before profit. He has told me on multiple occasions, not to stress my elderly cat by bringing him in the office. We can talk about his condition over the phone or when he is caring for another pet of mine. OUTSTANDING! Thank you, Dr. Prater!

My cat broke his toe when he jumped and clinbed a barstool that fell on him. They we're able to work him in immediately. A few months later he was having issues with peeing blood and they were able to squeeze him in immediately then too. Great staff and fair prices. I definitely recommend this place!

Dr. Tim is AWESOME!!!! I moved from LaVergne to Hermitage and I refuse to change vets. Dr. Tim takes such good care of my senior pug. He truly cares about him. I can see it in his actions and the amount of time he spends with my pug. Dr. Tim is my HERO!
