I came to this location on 13 February at 8:15 and purchased two containers of your valentine's cupcakes, one chocolate and vanilla with the small love sign on them. I took said cupcakes to work and my co-workers stated that the icing tasted like old medication. None of my co-workers, including myself could finish one cupcake a piece without taking the icing off. One co-worker stated that he has stated apart of the human anatomy that has tasted better these cupcakes. This bakery really needs to QA their products before it goes on the shelf. I will be calling them when they open.

Whoever is packaging the deli meat needs more training. Common sense tells you if you put the label over the ziplock you have to tear the bag. Stop it!!!

I went to this Kroger at 9:49pm on a Tuesday night and the doors were already locked. I just needed to get my dog some food and I would have been out before they were closed but I'm finding more and more establishments locking and closing doors before their closing times. I will not return to this Kroger

Workers are lazy. Everytime I go to the customer service desk to do anything, I get some runaround story how it isn’t open at the moment but someone is clearly standing behind the desk. What’s the point of having a customer service section if it can never “service customers” ???

Produce is always fresh and full. Plenty of people in the store to help you find things. They need more cashiers.

Love the small town feel to this store. The young man who tends to the produce department does a wonderful job, always the best avocados & other produce. Everyone is always very helpful, they have a great selection of products & a beautiful floral department. Only place I really enjoy shopping.

Closing at 9:00pm and no checkers available after that time. Clearly trying to get the shoppers out before 930 or 10. They are definately not "open" until 11.Prices are high. A regular shopper exclaimed some of the produce he normally buys is up over 50%.Lots of empty space on the shelves. Limited selections in areas you'd think were easy to keep filled. Lots of double, triple and quadruple stocked shelves covering for missing product. Makes you think they are looking to close this location soon.Good luck if you go here.

Two stars is being generous. Only good thing about this Kroger is one of the ladies that works in the self checkout. Every other person I have encountered in this store acts as of you are troubling them by asking questions on items. So people can’t get upset when robots are doing the job for them since they can’t be bothered to do what they were hired to do. Then they never have anything in stock.

I don’t usually shop at this location anymore but I dropped in today to pick a few things up. The store has been somewhat updated but there were a lot of flies and a really bad smell near produce and the deli. I went to self checkout and the self checkout lady had to have been the RUDEST person I have encountered in a while. I didn’t notice that the kiosk I was on only accepted card and no cash back. Ironically I needed cash back and it gave me the option. This lady first tried to act like she didn’t notice my kisok was waiting for her assistance even though she was right beside then she proceed to mouth off to me about what this kisok does and I should not have selected cash back. I even tried to save her some time and asked her to give me the cash out receipt and I can take it to customer service because I was going there anyway. She was so determined to be miserable she couldn’t even hear what I was trying to say to her and still managed to be rude. I don’t disrespect elders but she asked for it today. The crazy part she was way to comfortable acting the way she did which shows this isn’t her first time doing this. She was wrong but I am more disappointed in the leadership that allows her to treat customers this way. I wont be supporting this store any longer and will happily make the trip to anywhere else before I came back in here.

Need to hire more cashiers. Good luck checking out when they have 1 lane open and MAYBE 4 self checkouts working. Better off going to Publix

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I go to this Kroger daily (as it’s walking distance from my house) & I’m beyond angry about the customer service. My first gripe is Jojo- she is rude! I’ve experienced her yelling at me and several other customers in the self check out line (which is always a disaster due to the lack of space to actually make a line)… She was yelling for us to move & was displeased with how slow we were moving- but there was nowhere to move to without bumping into other customers. So I yelled back at her saying “Well how do you expect us to move when there’s no room! Also, give us a minute, we all have to shuffle to do this.” I get she’s likely stressed about the poor physical setup for the self checkout area- but don’t yell at me! Be kind. But that’s not the first time she’s been rude. I’ve seen her cut customers off when they were asking for help & belittle them to where they feel stupid. People are too kind to this lady, they should honestly buck up and not take her bullying. Grocery shopping shouldn’t feel like a hassle/we shouldn’t feel like we have to walk on eggshells around her. Then there’s the other self checkout lady that’s usually there in the morning. She’s a shorter, older lady with glasses and blondish hair…she’s definitely nicer than jojo- but she’s still pretty damn rude. She acts like I’m an inconvenience when I need help.. even this morning she caught an uncalled for attitude with this older gentleman. He was trying to scan his groceries at a register that was turned off. He quickly realized and she said ‘yeah that’s one’s not turned on.’ He responded with, “Yes, I’m sorry, I didn’t check before scanning”. Her reply???… She says ‘Yeah, obviously you didn’t’ with a snarky tone. Again, she’s definitely nicer than jojo- but the overall morale of this store is ‘We don’t care about our customers’.The only good person at this store is the 3rd Self Checkout lady (and I don’t know if you’ve noticed- but I often only encounter self checkout people because half the time they have no lanes open, or baggers, or just employees in general..I always have to hunt someone down for help)… Now I cant remember her name, but she has brown hair, olive toned skin, and is the only one I ever see smiling. She’s helpful, actually does her job, and is kind.To the manager- I’ve talked to you on the phone & know you’re a smart, level headed person. In my opinion, I think it’s time to start rethinking who you have working up front with customers. Jojo may be better suited for stocking if she doesn’t want to actually help us at the register. If something doesn’t change, me and my family will start shopping elsewhere.Last note- yalls produce is often covered in mold and gnats..and the freezer temps are often incorrect/defrosted to the point that puddles of water form on the ground with no wet floor sign in sight.I hope to see some changes in the near future.

Some of the checkers are so rude and even down right insulting to customers! Is this how you train your staff Krogers?? The employee attitudes are so bad. They get so upset that customers shop there and get so mouthy about it. I have shopped here often and hate going here and only go for the distance convenience from work. I'll be finding a publix or elsewhere, that's for sure. 1 star because 0 wasn't an option. Also the store is weirdly tiny. Cherry tomatoes are always moldy, check 1st before buying. Just Awful.

Garbage Store, it’s gotta be one of the smallest Kroger store I’ve ever been in. I have to dodge shopping carts every time I go to this store, also store smells like sour mop water. Customer service counter is never opened but always have workers hanging around it, but if you go to the Kroger in Smyrna it’s customer service is always opened and much cleaner.

After reading some of these comments, I decided to think about JoJo and took another approach to know her. Bam, I had her smiling and loved it. Jo is my new friend. Thank you all for the positive comments.

My problem is not with the location and what happens inside its 4 walls… You have nut jobs in the parking lot signing people up to their Political agenda. It’s happened three times in the last month. Do you endorse and condone this?

One check open you have to do self check out I. Tired of trying to shop and can't ever find a check out lane open, That gets real old and they have a few people at the check out that are not friendly at all, so be on notice there help at kroger some times is not the best help just depends on who you talk too for help, but buying alot of grocerys at kroger and having to check out your self is getting old, they need more check out lanes open

Manager and customer service women were so rude. They lied to us concerning purchasing some gift cards. At first refused to give us the number of district manager. Finally they did. We called the district manager. They verified that the manager and Customer service women lied.

Everyone who works here is extremely kind and friendly and helpful. The meat department people are wonderful, the cashiers are great! The pharmacy people are the BEST! The management staff are friendly and helpful! I have been going here for years now and it is my favorite store because I feel so welcome and appreciated. They treat my kids like celebrities which is a plus :)

So disgusted with Kroger in Lavergne! I bought 2 of their 5.00 containers of shrimp. They are supposed to have 12 shrimp. I tried to tell the guy that I was sure there were only 10. He stated there are 12 in there and I didn’t even have to use his toes to count them. So I check out. As soon as I paid I opened it up and sure enough there were only 10. Well honey you best use your toes next time because you can’t count. So I go back there and he takes both my containers and fixes me 12 shrimp. Then he walks away and I have to tell him I bought 2 not one. He ha in his hands duh! So another young guy went to get lemons comes back does not wash his hands nor does he wash the lemons everyone had their hands on. Cuts it and puts it in my shrimp with his bare hands! NO GLOVES. Lavergne Kroger is the worse store I have ever seen.

So for some reason the guy in the meat the department says they can not slice my Top Sirloin steak. This is the first time I’m hearing this and doesn’t sound right. He claims he can only cut it in half although every Kroger I have been too has a slice example and they ask you how thin. I will be calling corporate about this to find out as well. I don’t want to waste my time and come to this Kroger if that is how lazy they are going to act.

Worst customer service. Don't let them bag wine in that "special bag", these bags aren't capable of handling the weight. When I got home with 3 bottles and placed it on the counter, it tipped over, and before I could catch it, fell off and smashed all 3 bottles. I got cut cleaning up the mess, but left the broken bottles in the bag the same as packed. When I went to Kroger to complain about the bags, the manage couldn't be bothered to come to customer service, rather told the lady at the counter, it was MY FAULT! I brought the evidence to support my claim. In fact, when I placed the bag on the counter, it tipped to one side and had to be righted. I told the lady, if it's doing this with empty broken bottles, imagine what happened with FULL bottles of wines.I insisted on speaking with the manager to show him the evidence, but I was passed off to "Ashley" - a cashier. Once told of my desire to speak with her - Ashley ignored me! Yes, ignored. I tried several times to make eye contact, but she continued to take customers. She picked up the phone at the register, though I couldn't hear what was said. She turned off the register light, and I began to approach her lane, but she continued to ignore me. Then a man came to her lane with items while the light was OFF, and she proceeded to check him out. She never once spoke a word to me. I complained to the lady at the customer service desk, but she neither phoned the manager in his office nor spoke to Ashley, rather shrugged, claiming there was nothing she could do. I showed her my Kroger card, and said that after nearly 3 decades of shopping there, I was done. I threw it in the trash and walked out, leaving the bag that NO ONE examined.

Working here day to day. Honestly we do alright, if the warehouse has it, but if they are out so are we. Trucks every night, so out of stocks are maxed 3 days. Staff is masked, but easily 50% of customers, and vendors don't have masks and are unenforced, even with free masks available...

It's Krogers. There will always be lines. My only beef is that I get tired of going through the self- checkout line when I have waaay too many items to be doing that. I have to do that because, I believe, they don't have enough help(?) Otherwise, it's decently clean and the food is rotated which is pretty much the most important thing to me.

All Kroger's Employees/Staff are friendly, helpful and friendly atmosphere to shop in. Always asking if you need help or lending a helping hand to anyone. I used to work here , I was a cashier, Shelf stalker>(front facing shelves) also did loss prevention and I did carts, cleaned bathrooms, floors and I bagged groceries & took them to customers cars. "Everything I did, I did to help others regardless if I was working or shopping".. I'm a hard working Mother who helps others when needed or doesn't need help. I've never asked for anything in return but a smile from our community and a hug every now and again. Overall: I like Kroger's you should try them an see for yourself!!

Usually decent service and Pia(she was not there tonight) is such a nice lady. But please try n keep your baskets up front by the door. Not all over by the self checkout like at 8:30 tonight. 10/14/21.

It’s definitely not the first place I’d go to. The one in Smyrna is more updated and not as cramped! They also have more registers. It’s just such a SMALL Kroger! It constantly has a rotten smell in the meat section as well.Since COVID is going around, I wouldn’t go to this one at all, because its impossible to distance here. Flies are always around the pre made chicken under the heat lamps, and the holes on the containers for ventilation are big enough that these flies can EASILY crawl into. I have never NOT seen flies.

Vegan/vegetarian sections throughout are formidable. Organics go on sale often. Everything else you'd expect from a mainstream grocer. Lines were quick even on Thanksgiving. Closeouts and Manager Specials don't tend to have that last leg ora, but actually decent. Haven't encountered a rude associate yet

I bought a product at another kroger (which is an hour away) and wanted to return it. I came to this store (my local store) to return it and they said they couldn’t and that I’d have to take it back to the original store.. makes no sense because yall sell the same product. There was no sorry or we can help find a solution - none of that. I was sent home unsatisfied with a product I didn’t need so I looked up on the website and it said I could return it but I called customer service to be sure and they said the same thing. The customer service woman was amazing though. She talked with the manager so I could return it. I went back to the store and asked a woman for the manager. She didn’t seem to care to help me anyways- NEITHER WOMEN DID. He came up, didn’t greet me or anything. Him and the cashier woman were talking low but I could still hear them. And all he asked was if I had the same debit, I said “No my bf bought it but I have another debit card and an I.D” and he gave me a merchandise card which I didn’t want. That’s $50 that could’ve been spent on something else and it’s crazy because all this happened TODAY!! We bought it today and returned it today! If they needed my bf to bring it back they could’ve said so but they were highly lacking communication skills and a lot of the employees aren’t that friendly either, they walk around you and don’t ask if you need help finding anything...I was sent home without a have a nice day and I was still unsatisfied.
