My dog, Reef, is extremely fearful of the vet. I’ve tried numerous medications to help him relax and have seen three previous vets who were all unable to draw his blood or administer his vaccines. Good Samaritan was highly recommended on the HIP Smyrna Facebook page so I reached out to them and explained everything. They were so compassionate and understanding, and they were able to see us the very next day… which happens to be today.Dr. Isaac was the first vet my dog ever felt comfortable taking treats from. His entire demeanor changed from nervous to curious in less than 5 minutes with Dr. Isaac. That’s record breaking for my pup.The majority of our visit was spent with the most helpful and encouraging techs that I’ve ever met. They were determined to work with us to ease Reef’s fear and to help him come out of fight or flight. He needed nearly the full gambit of services today and for the first time in well over a year he was able to receive them.I couldn’t recommend this veterinary clinic more and I will be forever grateful that they truly cared about my boy and helped him on his wellness journey. I plan on taking him back for fun visits so he can feel more confident the next time he needs care.From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much, Good Samaritan!

Very nice and professional. Didn't have to wait a month to get an appointment... got in next day. Decent prices. Not so cheap I was concerned about good care, but cheaper than her last vet by quite a bit. They did make sure I knew what all was available and which tests were the most important to do soon. I am picky about my dog getting the best care without me going broke. I am pleased with this place.

I just want to say how AMAZING Kristen and Holly were today with my pup!! They were so patient and sweet to a very nervous and timid doggie! My pup is so fearful of getting her nails trimmed and just the vet office in general. I just wanted to thank them so much for all they did for her and the completion of the nail trim! This team is AWESOME!

This is a wonderful place to take your pets; Dr. Isaac is very kind and gentle, and explains very well. The staff is great, especially Kayla; they REALLY care about your pets, and the prices are VERY reasonable.This is my second visit, I will return again, and IHIGHLY recommend this clinic.

First time customer bringing in one adult queen and her two six-week old kittens. I didn't have an appointment but was well received following those who had appointments.The front staff were really engaging explaining everything and answering each of my questions. They explained procedure, options, and billing concerning my suspicious of an upper respiratory infection (URI) with my queen and initial shots for the two little ones.Once called in, Dr. Issac and his assistants were outstanding! They displayed great patience with me and each of the three. One would have thought that I was a long-time customer with them; very personal and empathetic.Additionally, each facility area (waiting, examination/treatment, and bathrooms) of the office were extremely clean with no hint of foul odors - rather amazing considering. And surprisingly, I received a follow-up call a few days after my visit. The representative was kind with an array of questions concerning the well-being of the three - especially the mother. Nice!In short, being this was my first time visiting a veterinarian office in many years; the experience was outstanding! I now know that I can end my search for medical assistance for the three. I have found and recommend the support that I've been looking for for my babies.Thank you Dr. Issac; you and your staff at Good Samaritan Animal Clinic are truly amazing!

Everyone here was super nice, which I really appreciated. My cat was acting very strangely and my normal vet was booked, so I came here. My only problem is that I wish they had been more honest with me about my cat’s condition. She was sent home with us (after I paid for expensive medication and food) in hopes of improving, but she passed away a day later. I realize that no one can tell the future, but she seemed so sick, and I even asked about quality of life when I was there and was told her condition was “not emergency.” It isn’t the vet’s fault she was sick, I understand that, but she was 17 years old with kidney disease. I feel extremely guilty now because I feel like she suffered longer than she should have. I feel like I could have made a more humane decision for her.

This was our first time here and I loved it! I was so anxious about my dogs acting up or being nervous, but every one there was so nice and my doggies were so good! I can’t believe it. The vet and the techs were so knowledgeable and sweet. We will definitely be using them as our regular vet.

My dog has had issues for years. Yet my previous vet just pushed them aside. He walked in and without me even saying anything about some of them pointed them out and what could be the cause. I will be taking my pets there in the future. His staff is warm and friendly. His prices are great too.

This place was recommended by someone when my dog was having issues with not eating, drinking or being able to defecate. I brought my dog here, and immediately upon stepping into the examination room and explaining what was going on the veterinarian tries to pass it off as “behavioral issues.” I knew that this wasn’t the case because it’s happened before in the past as well. I had to practically beg the doctor to give my dog an X-Ray. Once the scans were done, the doctor came to the conclusion that my dog was just backed up so he gave us some suppositories and oral laxatives for the future. Immediately before we even got out of the office my dog was pooping which I was very grateful for, but as soon as we got home he was now pooping extreme amounts of blood. To shorten this very long story, I ended up having to take my dog to another facility where they ran ACTUAL TESTS to find out what was going on with my baby. They found out he actually had giardia and needed more medication than just a suppository and laxative. In total I ended up in over $800 in debt all because I trusted that Good Samaritan veterinarian would do their job and weigh out all possible options instead of doing 1 Xray and telling me that my dog was just constipated.

Favorite veterinarian!!! Same day appointments very affordable care for any and all pets. This is the only veterinarian I will trust with my Thor. If you are not happy with your veterinarian try Good Samaritan Animal clinic.

My cat was sick after being boarded (somewhere else) and my regular vet was closed on Saturday. I was able to get an appointment here as other vets were already booked up. It was very busy and the office was tight but the staff was so kind and the doctor really cares about his patients. My cat was diagnosed quickly, meds were given and we were on our way. Thank you to the staff for getting my kitty seen and better so quickly!!

They treated my baby kitten with the upmost respect. Prices are very fair! She got all her vaccinations, an exam, a fecal test and dewormers all for less than 160! Definitely come over here if you want your pet to get good service while also not breaking your bank

I took my dog to good samaritan Because my 10 yr old Beagle wasnt feeling well and I couldn't get him an appointment with his regular vet. The staff was friendly and the doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful. Sad to say they found a mass by his spleen he had to have surgery to remove it he made it through surgery ok but later in recovery he crashed and my loyal boy passed away. The doc called to check on him and I told him he passed away he was very empathetic and gave us his condolences a few days later I recieved a signed card from the staff sending well wishes and condolences. Whenever I get another dog I will definitely come back.

I got a new puppy and wanted to get him checked out to make sure he is healthy, happy, and gets the care he needs to stay that way. I saw Good Samaritan while I was driving home one day. I called and they got me in the same day. Dr. Isaac gave a thorough exam and explained what my options were for preventative care, the conditions my puppy's breed was susceptible to and what to watch for, and what he saw as he examined my puppy. The staff was also great! They were so friendly and gentle. I will definitely be returning in the future for my regular vet visits!
