The new self pay registers are down multiple times during the week. Always in a state of restocking no matter what day or time. It has gotten better but still has a long way to go. I used to work here a few years back for a very short time. If it wasn't for its location. I don't think it would be as busy as it is. I hope upper management fixes it. The store has huge potential. I'm updating this from 3 years ago

Well I thought DG had turned this store around. Unfortunately after tonight's visit I'm afraid it has taken multiple steps backwards. The store was in need of a cleaning. Then shelves were empty as if they haven't been stocked in a couple of days and in 50 years I've never once seen a cashier as slow as the one I had tonight. Trust me when I say I was generous when I gave them 2 stars

The manager who is on duty at this time is very rude. I was purchasing some stuff that rung up the wrong price. The sales associate looked for the manager to fix the problem. When she came to the register at self checkout. She was very rude with how she asked me to move to throwing the price scan gun down to not even fixing all of the items price. I didn't even purchase the items. I will not spend my money where I'm being treated rudely. If you are not happy with your job find another one. I will not be back to this location again.

Just went there at 9:54 pm. The girl standing at the door looked to be a manager.. told me they were closed and I pointed out that there sign says they close at 10pm and she goes onto say that the cash registers were alreadyshut down and that that shut down at 10 pm I again pointed out the obvious that the store isn't suppose to close till 10pm. She is such a liar! I hope someone runs the cameras back and writes her up for not doing her job and costing the company to lose money because she just wants to be lazy.

For the last 4 months none of the pricing is right. I'm sick of getting to the register only to find that EVERYTHING was priced wrong. I've been biting the bullet and paying the price difference but tonight I put my foot down. No longer will I be paying 50 dollars over what yall have yalls items priced as. From now on I'm pulling a Karen and showing the prices marked vs the prices at the register. Sorry not sorry.

at this store, i was there at 9:57 and did not let me go in and buy a few things i was needing. They say they close at 10 pm! I will no longer shop here again, if store closes 5 minutes before 10 pm itr should say on the door. Manager on duty is liar and costing DG money.

Last two times I been here. The price of the item on the shelf is not the same price when you checkout. I told the lady working there and she said ok and went back to stocking the shelves! SMH

It's an ok place. They have stuff I need and don't need. They carry food, brand name and off the wall brands. Please check expectation dated on all food. I've been in several (like 6) and find expired food and no I'm not seeking it out. I'll keep going back.

I think it’s really messed up how Marsha the store manager does her employees and I never even knew of it until my fiancé started working for her. She hired him on as a key holder which is basically a manager you open and close the store do the deposits etc but yet he’s never done it no one has even tried to let him close and do his JOB. and then she texts him to try to get him to transfer to a different store to say she doesn’t need another key holder and then literally hires another key holder to take his place. I thought you had always been an excellent store manager until I know now how you actually get down and it’s quite sad. You can’t run a store atleast run it the right way if you don’t make your employees happy! Giving them 18 hours when they’re full time what a joke. The main issue is that you tried to get rid of him and LIED about it because you brought another employee in with the same job title that you “supposedly” didn’t need. Hopefully Matt sees this because you need to get it together.

Great staff, shelves are always stocked .With it being such a busy store I can understand why they are contantly stocking.If other customers in the neighborhood would not let their kids trash the stord or put things back where they get them from if they dont want them then the employees would have more time to focus on other areas .The community should help take care of their local DG . The staff is always nice and friendly.

In this store there is a Hispanic she is very rude and if you ask her something she says that she is not paid to give information!! I hope the owner will help her with her behavior

I visited store #12170, Fergus Rd on 06.06.21 to grab couple of last minute food items and I not only learned the store stays open to 11pm, I had a very pleasant welcome and found this store to be clean, stocked with everything I needed, and so much more organized than the usual DG I've been patronizing for years on Murfreesboro Rd in Lavergne TN.Luis, Jaeden, Brianna, and Jeff were very polite and impressive with their mature demeanor. My other store has fallen apart ever since the last Mgr came in and turned that store back around. This is definitely my go to Dollar store from here on out. Thx guys and do keep up the great work!

This place is aweful. Long checkout lines. Poor service and staff that clearly doesn't want to be there. They often close before they are supposed to and stand at the door not letting people in. Needed a receipt to get cash back from ibotta app and store failed to print out receipt. The attendee just shrugged it off and a store manager said there was nothing they could do. When asked if we could return items and then repurchase them for a new receipt they refused saying they didn't have time. Then refused to refund items. Who does this???

One of the most unorganized and messiest Dollar Generals I have ever been in in my life. Stuff is mixed together on the shelves, not in the right spots. Boxes on top of boxes down every aisle in the floor. Merchandise even laying in the floor, that is either fallen or been knocked off of a shelf. Some miles have so much stuff in them you cannot get your buggy down the aisle. It's like they unload the trailer truck directly to the floor and leave it in the boxes. It is that way every time I have been in that store and I have been here eight months. The store itself seems dirty.

This place has potential, but it is always unorganized, very busy, and the lines are very long, and many the products are not in the appropriate places, causing me to wander around looking unnecessarily. The people seem nice enough, but the store itself needs some help

The ad prices don't meet the check out prices and management didn't seem to care when I pointed this out and she didn't offer to match the sale price. The cashier or management didn't seem like they really cared. I will not be going back to this store again!!!

They all look the same to me in every city and in every area code that i have been to. You cant beat one if your out in the sticks and dont feel like driving anymore than 15 minutes to go into town or if there is a store anywhere near your home or within a walking distance its going to be everyone's eventual stop just because of the convenience and deliberate low prices for the area its located around.

I like the dollar store. I have been buying my grandkids clothes to wear for vacation. You sometimes have to dig but they have some cute clothes. Even my picky grandkids give the clothes a thumbs up!

This particular location is extremely clean and carries a larger selection than most Dollar Generals. Most of the employees that work there are courteous and friendly as well as helpful which makes it better too.

Convenient for residents of Lake Forest. Longer hours than other DGs. Usually only has one register and a line straight to the back of the store. Staff is not very helpful and always uneducated and in training.

First time here and hopefully MY LAST!!!! When I asked one of the employees how much the misplaced paper plates were on the aisle that he was stocking he said I don't know a buck or a buck fifty Maybe within 30 seconds later he said excuse me lady as he tried to push his cart through to continue stocking his area. Then if that wasn't enough as I was continuing to bag my own groceries I look up at the cashier as he's picking his nose then he flicks his booger when I asked him for my receipt and he says it's in my bag I said thank you kindly and walked away!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention he was still ringing up someone behind me with two others behind that lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very convenient, friendly staff. Prices comparable to grocery stores on most items. Some good items that are a bargain, some awful stuff not worth buying, but overall good.

Poor staff. Grimey. It's been here forever. If you need something this place may or may not have it lol. Usually wait at the least 10 minutes regardless of time and day. Used to be open later but like I said with poor staffing... there's no one here to work lol

I love the fact that its located right in my neighborhood. I dont know how many times I've looked at open land in my neighborhood and thought, Oh, wouldn't a mall be great there?. My go to place.

My favorite Dollar General. It has a better selection than other locations, AND it's open till MIDNIGHT...every day of the week! The staff is also particilarly friendly.
