Marty, is an asset. He was running the register, I'm patient, had a return, he did VERY good due diligence, taking care of his register, but still help me find what I needed. He found what I needed, for an over 40 year old chainsaw. That another couldn't, even with part number. 2nd return, given by another, not his fault, but he inspired me to return to the store.. Offered home ship.. he's what you need in your organization. He moves. Searched inventory well, better than the first, found 2 options for me.. good with pc entry.. Hard to find. I'm giving 5 because of him, however, inventory was off, in my case, but he took care of the customers.Fix inventory, please. He tried to accommodate me, showed in, but wasn't. That's an inventory problem. Not his.

Bought a $4,000 GreenWorks riding mower from Tractor Supply on Maynardville Pike. Sales staff were helpful and friendly making the sale, emphasizing the reassuring four year warranty. That gets the two stars. Unfortunately, when the mower broke just over a year later, and GreenWorks warranty response was close to zero, I called the Tractor Supply store and asked for them to get involved and help, maybe speak to their vendor rep or someone at GreenWorks to encourage them to take care of a customer who bought a pricey item. I never got past the sales clerk who answered the phone. I asked if a manager would speak with me. The young man on the phone simply dismissed me, saying he already asked the manager and there was nothing they would do to help. You'd think that a customer who dropped $4k then called asking for a little follow up support would at least get a token gesture of understanding and apologetic solidarity from the manager. That would take about 20-30 seconds and at least leave a better taste in my mouth. I previously had the (apparently mistaken) impression that Tractor Supply was a more on the ball customer satisfaction oriented store. Definitely not in this case. I have a feeling they'd have been quite a bit more friendly and helpful if I had called asking about buying a new mower. Sadly, a case of being all about the initial sale and not much about customer satisfaction after the sale. Maybe it's like that most places these days. But if I was shopping again for a mower, I wouldn't be stopping by Tractor Supply.

Very nice, I usually go straight for what I need except I might have a few minutes to look around but I like their supply of chainsaws, weed eaters, and some of the clothing for men, and I'm sure you can find certain things that you can't find it at the other stores.

The store is very well stocked and the staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. The prices are great. We support 15 chickens 16 ducks 9 rabbits and three dogs from this place due to quality of product and prices. We are here at least twice a week and love going. We always find great items and unique things that are fun and helpful. Love the selection of flannels and outdoor clothing as well. Can't say enough positive things about it...

Pam and her staff are Super Friendly and very Helpful to me. I had a car accident a few years ago and am in a wheelchair. They go out of their way to help me with all of my needs.Awesome store and I Love going in there.I was in the store today and had a great experience.

It's nice to have a few businesses that want to help the customer, and tractor supply in Halls is one of them. I prefer this store over rural scheme aka rural king any day. I'm glad I have no trouble using my tax exemption here unlike some other competitors. (Rural scheme) Staff is always friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help. Prices are also half way descent too.

This was the only store that had the mower we were interested in purchasing plus they allowed us to use their trailer free. Alyssa and Trey were fantastic in helping us get checked out, purchasing what was needed for maintenance, and helping us get it loaded. I cannot say enough about their professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to go above and beyond on customer service. Even though they are about an hour away from us, I would shop here because of them! Thank you both SO much for everything!

Just went and had two propane tanks filled, and the young lady Andrea I think her name was was spectacular in the customer service department. The cashier needed help with an item and she quickly hopped up and took care of it. If more companies Had employees like that. The world would be awesome 😂

I've been trading with this store for quiet some time. I've never received any sort of discount or coupon and I spend at least $200 to $300 twice a month. If I'm not going into this location, I'm ordering online products. Membership isn't worth it

I love Tractor Supply but I wish they could keep my cat food in stock. The big bags. They’re out more often than they have it in stock. 70% of the time I have to make an extra trip to a competitor to find it.Biggest complaint is checking out. Staffing up to check customers out seems to be an afterthought. There will be a huge line and they’ll close one of the two registers. Are you kidding?Just the check out process itself seems to be cumbersome too. If there’s one or two folks or no one in line it still takes significant time.Also, when I’ve been waiting ten minutes to check out, it isn’t a good time to try and get me to sign up for your club. I just want to pay and leave.

I am absolutely appalled at the conditions the baby chick's are left in. As we were in shopping for feed for our chickens, we decided to look at the baby chick's they had. At least 4 were on the brink of death, not moving, and labored breathing. Associates. With their lack of compassion, walked by and looked and did absolutely nothing. My family and I will go else where for supplies, I won't Subject my kids to that again.

Customer service section was very helpful about my Muck Boots I bought for work. Not cheap and no half sizes, so they guided me to the right size fitting.Checking out when more than moderately buddy was a bit of a wait. Nonetheless, great experience.

They "closed" at 7:55 tonight *Friday June 19th 2020. We went in 7 minutes before closing and the guy made sure to tell us they were closing very soon. They did help us with our stuff but they need to close at 8? I will give 4 stars though for them actually getting us our stuff. (We got 30 7ft post out in the outdoor section) and right after checking out (7:54) the guy tells the cashier (girl) to go ahead and close up. He was out the door and in his car leaving at 8:02. (We were in parking lot strapping down post)

The store is always well stocked and the staff is helpful without harassing customers. I wish the aisles were a bit wider so you could comfortably pass another shopper with a cart, but overall everything is great. Unfortunately, I don't often want to drive 30 minutes from west Knox to buy chicken supplies.

Friendly folks. I purchased online and picked up in store. Was immediately greeted and directed to the service desk where a very nice man looked up our order and plucked our widget from the the backroom and put it in our car. Could not have been easier.

They are generally pretty good here. I did have one employee try to tell me I couldn't fit a horse stall mat in my car. Otherwise I have always had positive interactions with staff.

A really well stocked, great country store for anything you’d need for your farm/country home. Kind, friendly, helpful staff too. I highly recommend this store over other agriculture/farm supply stores much closer to my house that aren’t stocked well like this store.
