We had such a great experience here. It was very clean and the animals all seemed well cared for. The staff was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. After a few minutes we found our little Chocolate Chip and we knew he had to come home with us. Now a week later and he has been absolutely perfect. He even rides in the car very well which is great for us as we travel quite a bit and he will be going on our adventures with us.

Stopped in just to look around and ended up leaving with a new fur baby. The owner was very helpful even though he was busy cleaning. The girl working the desk was very knowledgeable and gave advice/opinions on questions we had. She also told us to call day or night if we had any other questions or needed help with our new baby. All the puppies seemed happy, we played with a few and if we could have we’d have taken another home!

Loved this Puppy store!!! got my black lab there yesterday and she is the sweetest! they take good care of the puppies there and want every customer to have a great experience:) they’re nice and know what they’re doing! I have been going into the puppy store since my freshman year at UTK and have always wanted a dog and walked in and found the exact one i’ve been looking for, they most likely have the one your looking for too!

I picked up "TUCKER" from Vicky a week ago today. I can't describe what a pleasant and easy 1st week we have had. It's only been a week and this little guy is already 90% pad trained in the house (unless he hadn't gone outside, which he is already doing often). Unlike the "Big Baby" he was before he came home, he has quickly come out of his shell and is so happy, well behaved and loyal in such a short period of time. I truly believe the socialization that The Puppy Store provides while they are there greatly contributes to the ease of training once they get home. Whether it is house trainining, crate training, leash training etc., this has been a breeze. He has slept in his crate every night since day one and has barely made a whimper. Tucker was seen by our Vet for an Ortho waiver for his insurance. Dr. Patterson said he is not only in perfect health, but one of the most "perfect" shih-pooh's he's ever examined. He had is first grooming expecting just a puppy cut, but when I went to pick him up the groomer said he was so "incredibly well behaved and calm" she went ahead and gave him a full cut. I have no doubt that the time and care The Puppy Store gave him during his stay there not only made it easy for him to transition to his new environment but also contributed to his incredible wittiness and trainability. Thank you Vicky for providing such a well prepared addtion to our home. I would recommend The Puppy Store without a doubt for anyone who is searching for the "perfect" puppy. - T

This store was very clean and all of the puppies were in good condition. Obviously I don’t know where they get their puppies from but I do know they are priced more than half of what other stores are charging and they all looked healthy, happy and taken care of. We bought an 11 week old Chow puppy who is thriving. She was very clean, perfect weight, no matting in her hair, and our vets gave her a great report. It was clearly a family ran business and they were very friendly and seemed very forthcoming with answers to any questions we had. I would always encourage going to a shelter first but I would recommend this place over the big chain pet stores any day!

My girlfriend and me got the greatest most sweet adorable puppy, and the owners at the store are very friendly and knowledgeable about the puppies. Great service, and the store was very clean and well kept puppies had clean cages and seemed to all be happy to be puppies. I would recommend that if your in search of a new k-9 companion I would definitely start your search here at the puppy store.

Bought my pug here almost two years ago (her birthday is today) and a Pom/shih for my mother in law who just lost her shih tzu. Owners get to know you and your story. They know a lot about breeds. Healthy babies and best prices for top dogs.

I wrote a review a couple month back after our Chewy died when we took him to get fixed. Our vet said he went into cardia arrest and died. After we wrote our review, the owner contacted us and expressed how sorry he was to hear about Chewy. He said he had known Chewy's breeder for years and said they were good breeders. He offered to give us Chewy's brother. I told him that I understood that it could have been a mistake on the vet's part or just a freak reaction Chewy had to the meds, but there was also a chance it was a birth defect, so I would worry that his brother had the same thing and that I didn't think I was ready for another puppy anyway. He then offered for me to come pick out another puppy whenever we were ready. We have been looking for a couple weeks now. After seeing the conditions of the puppies of a "private" breeder that was supposed to be a good one, we went back to The Puppy Store. Chewy's brother was still there. The owner was true to his word and gave us Chewy's brother, Cooper. We talked for a long time. Him, his wife, and daughter were very sweet and genuinely sorry. We will never know what really happened to Chewy, but I do know that these owners are good people and do everything they can do in their power to make sure their puppies are healthy. There are no guarantees. I do plan on taking Cooper to our vet this week for a full check up before we get him fixed just to make sure. I also want to say that every time we have ever been in their store the puppies are happy, playful, and well taken care of. It is by far the cleanest pet store I have ever been in.

Happiest place in Knoxville, definitely. We've been in and out the last few months waiting for the right friend and found him finally. The staff were really helpful and answered all our questions, had complete medical history, and accommodating of our inexperience. Wholeheartedly recommend them.

Charlie and Vicky are great people to buy a dog from. I got a Chihuahua there. She’s 11 weeks old and beautiful! They talked to us like family and answered all our questions. Store was clean and puppies were well cared for. Would definitely go back. 💕Tod and Patty Stieber

i love this place and is where i got my first dog! she’s a long-haired red mini dachshund and perfect. in case you’re wondering, she was about $2,000. i don’t know much other dogs are and if they’re the same price, but my dog was a very healthy girl and have never had any problems. i recommend this place 100%. (we got her on july 28th 2023)

We had the best experience at Puppy Store! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and so genuine. Our pug puppy is the sweetest girl! She came with all of her medical records and registration paperwork. She was already well socialized and loves other dogs and humans and was pretty much already housebroken. We purchased our new fur baby from The Puppy Store. Charles is extremely knowledgeable and he is very passionate about what he does. The store is very well maintained and organized. It is also very clean. All of the puppies were very well groomed according to breed requirements. I would recommend the Puppy Store for anyone looking for a specific breed or anyone just looking to spend some time researching breeds or playing with puppies in general. Also, they have the cutest Assistant Manager and my daughter definitely enjoyed playing with her!

I had been in search for a puppy for a while. I was actually scammed by someone online who I ended up losing $100 to. I loved all the puppies at The Puppy Store. Owners were very nice and helpful. I realize puppies are overpriced everywhere, but the owners here are willing to offer a little break. Now , I’m so in love with my new pup!!

We just purchased our little Pom Zue from them. We have been going in for a couple months. The puppies are always clean and happy. Their prices are fair. They are knowledgeable and all around good people. We have definitely found a good place to go enjoy puppies and if you go enough like we did you will eventually end up with one of these little precious babies. Before we purchased they encouraged us to sit on the couch and spend time with the dogs. You won’t be disappointed here.

I went in to look for a husky he had several but he was amazing and very caring and make my little girl so happy.This place was clean and smelled good when we walked through door and puppies looked very healthy and amazing .

Horrible place worst one ever been to. Dogs are disgusting and stink. They're asking way too much for these dogs. One was almost a year old and they still wanted $3000 dollars for her. The people were nice but who cares about that when the dogs are not well kept. No body wants to pay a couple grand for a dog trapped in baby cribs that stink and more than likely ain't had shots of any kind. If they really cared for the dogs they'd lower the prices so they have a better chance to get a loving home. This place needs shut down at the least.

Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cared for the dogs. Facility was clean and any messes were cleaned immediately. All pups had a wonderful temperament and part of that could be attributed to the environment. Most importantly they helped me with my new best friend
