Had to switch to this Home Depot because the one closer to me, in Oakridge, seems to not care about their customers and are very rude! But we switched and have had awesome experiences at the Knoxville location. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

I probably bought a few hundred pounds of soil and fertilizer and it cost less than I expected. The tomatoes I planted from home depot show no sign of stress from the transplanting. The soil was better than I expected for the price. Everyone that helped me was extremely nice and professional. Ive always liked home depot and my recent trip made me even happier with them. Great job!

My personal opinion, there are only a select few employees who are helpful. There is an older lady who is a cashier with a heavy southern accent I believe her name is Kristi or Kristen who is very condescending towards customers and other associates. The bathrooms are always a disaster and look to never be cleaned. I don’t know who is running this place but I would suggest better management and nicer associates!

I've been a pretty faithful Lowe's customer for a long time, but when I started shopping lumber for a furniture projects I decided to venture out. I was a little shocked how much better the Home Depot near me looked inside. Not only did they have more of what I was looking for, it was also labeled better, more organized, and I didn't have to work to get someone friendly to help me. I guess we'll be seeing more of each other.

The Home Depot actually employees were helpful with our washer, dryer, and Fridge purchase. The delivery person was not. He broke the footer to my dryer. Like actually broke it in half. Then lied to my Fiancé and Mother that it was fixed. I was not able to get back over to Home Depot for the warranty repair. So I'm stuck paying $20 for something their own delivery guy broke. Point of the story. Install your own stuff.

Old man with gray beard working the pro desk today wouldn’t let me use my own digital card to pay for $20 worth of items Left my wallet at home and you made my day really hard so I am going to go to Lowe’s and will never be back at the Home Depot ever again I own a roofing company and I was using my own business card because I forgot my wallet at home and you guys don’t have tap, touch pay for cards the old man give me a hard time about not having my license to confirm my digital card. I don’t think he understood with a digital card is you have to log into your own banking app to use the card and you have to confirm the card with a text message to use clearly the gentleman was just trying to give me a hard time. I don’t appreciate it and I will not be back. I will buy a roofing materials from now onat Lowe’s or another competitor

Decent prices and selection. Bad service. I couldn't get help loading soil in the car since I arrived so close to closing. They closed registers at 8 and if you weren't checked out by then, they ran you out.

The store is peachy, but this review is for the Red Hot Chili Dogs cart out front. The cart was clean, the drinks were cold, and the hot dog was out of this world. To the gentleman running the cart, you sir are so kind, and you make a mean grilled chili dog. If I am ever in Tennessee again, I hope to have another!

The store is great, this is about the "water testing" people they allow in the store.DO NOT give these people your information. It's a 2 hour, high pressure sales pitch for an 8 thousand dollar water purifier system. You can get a good reverse osmosis filter for your water AT HOME DEPOT for around 300.

After toilet flush problems and youtube DIY videos, I'm glad this place had the toilet lever chain component, for a quick fix instead of a full set that would require me to remove more hardware from the top tank. $4 part + DIY time, vs calling in a plumber is pretty good budget math to me.

Appliances Nightmare! Arrived 40 days after purchase, arrived broken. Waiting on brand new unit, another 30 days. Don't wanna just fix it, don't trust it. Management has been helpful but the timing is terrible. I've cancelled all HD orders and am shopping at Lowe's from now on.

So this place is almost always our go to for any building material or anything we need home wise, and we almost always have a good experience, but today a guy checked us out and his name was coop and I just felt compelled to say that this guy needs to seriously consider not working with the public or fix his attitude because he was just extremely rude. We asked a couple workers if we could leave our cart with a few heavy things in the isle while we use the bathroom and we come back and it’s gone, and I told coop this because we had to leave the things we just paid for with him while we went to get an item we forgot and his response was “oh well, it wasn’t me” with the worst attitude I think I’ve ever came across in this store, when he could have said oh that’s too bad it won’t happen this time or something along those lines. Coop! Come on man I know you’re young but when you’re kind to people people will be kind to you and this review would have been totally different if you had been kind.

Had an appliance deliverd by them. They were very late,no where near the time they said would be there. Wouldn't install the appliance as they said they would. Rude and unhelpful. Will never buy so much as a nail from them again.

I am very disappointed. I went to speak to someone about purchasing an oven today. After we discussed delivery options, I asked if there was a way I can pick one up today as our oven is broken. I was met with extreme sarcasm and told "I should change my expectations because that's just not what people do". Both I and my company have been shopping with this store for years. Sadly, I may need to reevaluate that.

Solid Home Depot. The indoor plant selection did not have a huge variety. I noticed one sad little fiddle leaf fig that needed a good home. They did offer a 30% discount since it’s on the struggle bus. I can appreciate that.

What happened to customer service? I buy everything I can at Ace Hardware because they have people to help. I bought a brand new garage door and when I got home three of the four panels were dented. Due to "new policies", it was not easy to do a simple exchange. The young man who was an employee helping me load was telling his associate that they won't allow him to work full-time so he's having to get a second job. He's been there nine months and they won't give him more hours. Ridiculous.
