Nice staff, but the dog wash was disgusting. I usually use the one at pet supermarket but thought I would try PSP since it’s closer to my house. Both tubs were disgusting. One tub was obviously just used due to all of the fur, but the “clean” tub you could tell that it’s only ever been rinsed off and never disinfected or actually cleaned. The drain was nasty with very old fur around it. The tub was almost orange due to all of the soap buildup.(see photos) I didn’t even condition my dog like usual bc I was so anxious to get out. The water pressure was awful and too hot. The “clean” towels were old and nasty looking. Not worth $15. I’ll stick with Pet Supermarket. Clean and nicer tubs there plus it’s only $10 and you can control the water temperature.

I can't begin to say enough about this business at Fountain City location. I had a litter of pups an was in there several times a week.. Never has their been such a beautiful diversity of people anywhere Ive been before and they're ALL incredible. I literally look at them like family. Ive spoke to corporate an general managers to express how incredible the employees are and discovered PET SUPPLIES PLUS as a company is the catalyst of picking such a wonderful friendly, kind group of people! I always leave with a reload of happy when I visit!

I love Fountain City Pet Supplies Plus. The employees are always nice and courteous. They even offer to carry your big bag of dog food to your car without you even having to ask. I love their A++ service with a smile.

This has always been my go-to store for Bizzy. But the last visit here I was shorted over $80.00. I bought a self dog wash card but was not given one. Plus, I was charged $15.00 for a dog wash when it should have been a mark on my card I never received. But the manager at this store called and made this all right the very next day after I called the corporate office with the issues. This is why I love this store and company they have always made sure their customers are happy, and if not, they will make it right.

The employees are overall friendly and helpful and the store is usually stocked. I mainly only come for snake feed, but sometimes I like to go look at the lil critters and fish and whatnot. Unfortunately this visit I saw one fish tank that was absolutely riddled with dead fish. They were literally clogging the filtration system.. it was super sad... Can we please not let this happen?

They have everything you need here. Prices are reasonable, too, and they have a savings card to help. But the employees are not always friendly or very helpful. I have literally had them walk past me several times knowing I was looking for someone to help me. When I needed fish out of the tanks the person helping us was rude and impatient.

I needed supplies for my bearded dragon in a pinch. I just got him and the people I got him from didn't have most of what he needed to thrive. My boyfriend decided to check this place out and they had everything we needed for our little beardie to be happy. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because its a little on the expensive side. Alot of the items are over priced. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I'll probably need them again in the future.

Depends on what day it is with the staff, some days they are super friendly and helpful and other days they are less involved. They did call me and let me know when I left one of the tags that I purchased for my dogs in the store, that was very nice and helpful. As far as canned soft food for dogs...they have a very small selection to be a pet store. I have been trying to purchase flea treatment for my yard here as well and it's been out of stock for at least 1 month. I've checked back 2 times and they still do not have it. The dog washing station is very easy to use and helpful. Over all this is a nice store, just pricey.

Shout out to Echo for all the great advice. He was very knowledgeable about tanks dietary needs and recommended a switch to Redfords grain free food. Tank appreciates it and has never been better.

I removed my positive review.Yesterday, Sunday, I was incredibly disappointed with how the manager and staff handled my family. They were rude, dismissive, and made two kids cry.While I understand their decision to not sell us more fish, they also could have explained the process and not berated me for not bringing a large enough water sample (I wasn’t directed to bring any specific amount. In my pet store working days, we did dip strips, so I had plenty for that.)Again, I understand not selling more fish when water is not safe, but I think that they could’ve handled the situation a lot better. I was left standing with my two children for about 10 minutes with no direction, no one explained anything. I was wholeheartedly disappointed in their customer service interactions. We will not be returning to this location.

Beware!! Poor customer service, employee had the audacity to confront my 9 year child old using profanity. Not to mention, if you decide to place an order online be prepared to be asked for your id and debit card. As it is not disclosed when placing the order online.

Great pet store! Very clean and well stocked. The only thing I was unable to find was pet wound care supplies unfortunately (wound sprays, bandages etc) so we had to go to rural king for those items BUT they do have E collars here though that are pretty nice from the plastic kind to the inflatable ones which is very helpful to have on hand. We’ve bought alot of pet items from here and will continue to support them. Great place really and it’s very convenient to where we live which is also very nice. The people are helpful as well. My dogs really love the cookies at the front! I Definitely recommend pet supplies plus!

I went to Pet Supplies Plus earlier this week to purchase the necessities for a leopard gecko. The staff was very knowledgeable on the topic and even gave me a care sheet to read up on. Feeling sufficiently prepared, I went back today to purchase my leopard gecko and received the same excellent service--the staff member that helped me previously rung me up and made me feel like if I have any questions I can go back and I will get the help I need.

As always, the ladies here have to walk me through the process because I never know what I'm looking for, or I forget or I will normally send somebody else inside for me. However. Regardless of when I show up, they are always pleasant to work with, they are always very informative and they ask the good questions about my pets that I normally wouldn't think of to make sure I am buying the correct product. Awesome pet store, with the best prices and selections. It's always clean. The cashiers and workers are ready to help - even on busy days. I've been shopping here since it has opened, and have never had a bad experience. The only complaint I can come up with is there aren't many cat products as opposed to dog items. The reptile selection is great though, especially if your looking for different things. Crickets, and animals are healthy.

We’re visiting the Knoxville area and ran out of our food for our pup. Pet Supplies Google page said they were open to 9PM today. Stopped by at 7:30PM and there were people inside, but they were closed. Please get your Google page manager to update the page with the correct store hours so folks don’t waste their time stopping by.
