I really did not like this store at all. Everything was so overpriced. But what really upset me is when I saw the betta fish. They were in a little glass cup with a plant, so they couldn't even move around. That was honestly heartbreaking. If you want to pay for overpriced things, then this is your store .. but I highly recommend driving 5 minutes down the road to petco! If i could give this a zero plus stars, I definitely would! So sad.

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Miranda (053479) at the Kingston Pike location in Knoxville TN. I wandered into their store a few months ago when they were at the other location. I actually followed them to the Kingston Pike location which is over 20 mins out of my way just to see them. The selection of frozen mice but especially rats is awesome. Finding feeders for my snakes could sometimes take a couple hours & involve driving to multiple pet stores in order to find everything I needed. I have multiple snakes that need different sized feeders & it used to be next to impossible to find all of them at one place. Since I've met Miranda I haven't had to worry about finding them. They are always in stock. Miranda is also incredibly knowledgeable about care & needs for reptiles. I've come in with multiple questions & they've always been able to help me. Miranda remembers me every time I come in & asks about my noodles. Overall amazing customer service & all my needs are met. Thank you so much Miranda!

We went in for a new harness for my pup and got one, they had a good variety in a range of sizes and colors. Also got homemade treats, all natural food and snacks for my boys. The girls there were very informative and great with my fur babies! Thanks ladies, we will be back

The self service dog wash area is great because it is in the front of the store so it's open and bright. Powerful spray and dryers. The only negative is the shampoo they give you is SUPER watered-down. We have 2 Aussies, and there was no way to get them clean with the one bottle they gave for each dog. They gave me more, but it would have been better just to have proper shampoo in the first place. I will go back, but I will bring my own shampoo.The staff was very nice and helpful.

Just got a new betta and decided we wanted the best of the best for him.. I am so glad we chose pet supermarket! McKenzie the manager was way more than helpful! So knowledgeable. Had an answer for all our questions ! Such a great experience and top notch customer service! Highly recommend place! If you have fish questions definitely ask for McKenzie!

Customer service is okay, they were out of catnip which is why I came. I should have called so I headed over to PetSmart. She said they had ordered catnip this week but it didn't come in the delivery. So I should try next week. But it goes to show that they're inventory and delivery service doesn't work very well. Recommend call ahead if it's a special item.

We went in to look at reptiles. The enclosures were literally taped shut. Hognose snake enclosure could be opened without key. There was a dead, decayed green Anole in that enclosure with the live ones. You can see from pictures it had been there awhile. The full grown bearded dragon was in an extremely small enclosure (taped shut) in a bowl of water. There were no thermometers or hygrometers. All of the reptiles were stored super close with no regards to different heat/ humidity level needs. Beardies can very easily get upper respiratory infections and die from that type of humidity. When I attempted to speak with store employees they blew me off and said they would get to the dead anole when they found time. But I had to explain what an anole even was. They laughed straight in my face. If a store cannot meet basic needs of animals then they shouldn’t be allowed to sell them.

Great experience buying 2 Angelfish today! Miranda was so helpful and knowlegable! The tanks look so clean and the fish look healthy! This is the best place to buy fish!

This place is great , first time in there I was at wow , they have so much stuff for your pet , love that the bird section is so big since I have an exotic, u can most definitely find everything u looking for , prices are very reasonable

My Yorkie was recently diagnosed w/Cushings disease so I went in to look at some options regarding possibly changing her food. So, the associate, was very helpful & very knowledgeable & took the time to answer any & all questions I had. She also recommended a few products w/less fillers/ingredients. Great customer service & such a sweetheart!

If I could give 10 stars for the helpfulness of their employees, I would! Lots of options in all departments and very helpful! Tyler and kelsey are the names I definitely remember when my dog was having GI issues but many others have been great as well.

I gave a great review to this place 2 weeks ago, but I wanted to amend it because I just left there and had THE best experience of all! I needed info on a new issue with my almost 15 year old dog. Lisa spoke to me immediately and asked if I needed help. I told her my boy’s issue, and she was so sweet and reassuring that having accidents inside is a common issue for older dogs. She gave me a lot of helpful advice and showed me the products I need….and explained how they work. My boy is like a son to me, and the thing that really got me was, she cared.This store is awesome. Everyone is always so helpful, and the products are superior. The owner should really feel lucky and proud to have such a knowledgeable employee that happens to be a very caring person. I have written 10 or 12 reviews in my life…..because of Lisa, this is my best review and experience in any other store or restaurant. I will shop here for all of my pet needs. Ask for Lisa!!!!

Very helpful staff, great for feeder crickets if you have reptile needs. It's a nice place to shop for your pet in general. It would seem they host pet workshops from time to time so be sure to look into that if your looking to up your pet game? (Haven't personally been, but the store had signs for it that made it worth mentioning)

This pet store is organized, laid out in a comprehensible and rational manner. I like this store because it's not as big as the competitors and again, it's easier to pin down what you want. At those larger stores, I can go up and down the aisles trying to figure out what flavor to go with. I like to mix it up a little so the dogs don't get bored. Anyhow, I like this store, they have clearance items on dog food regularly. Staff is helpful when asked, store is pleasant. Seems more a mom and pop place and less like the mega pet store, impersonal, cold, confusing.

Great selection of pet foods. I have an elderly cat who requires soft foods with gravy. I found just what Buddy needs and he definitely approves. The manager was extremely helpful with my questions about my purchase as well. I will definitely be back.

This isn't a pet store I frequent but a friend started a job there. I went in to check out the store as I had not used it and didn't know it was there frankly. First, the store is neat and orderly, everything has a place. It's notably clean, I think there is a psych asthetic that is chill. I like the store. There was a clearance table with bags of dog food. Discounted 25-75% off so I bought a few.Noteworthy, neat and tidy every time I've walked in. Good selection of foods for all your pet needs, fish, cats, dogs, birds and all the hardware with instruction. Anyhow I like the staff there, professional, attentive, and neat, dress the part. I'm impressed with this store. Go on and check it out.

Really cool place. I mainly use them for their pet bathtubs. They are really nice and easy to use, and they supply all the soap you will need! I have a 100lbs yellow lab and pyrenees mix and he is a very big and hairy dog who takes a lot of shampoo and they always supply me with all that I need. They even clean the tubs afterwards for you! Super friendly staff as well. They have a wide variety of treats and bones and toys for your dogs as well.
