The order process is quick and easy. The search function is effective. The only concern I have is when you ship a product to the store, it seems like it takes forever and if you don't call to check on the status, you would never know when it has arrived. An improvement would be to add the ability to track your order, or for notifications to be sent to your phone. if this option is available, I did not find it.

Our friend bought 2 heavy duty steel grills 2 months ago for two properties at a great price. But due to scheduling, today was the first time she could get here. No worries!Staff is excellent - friendly and helpful. Lots of great stuff for the handyman and the professional contractor. We love our local store in Palm Harbor, and this one is pretty nice, too.

I went in yesterday. I couldn't find what I was looking for. I looked for a sales associate but walked around the store 3 times before I could find anybody to ask. When I asked about one product I was told the no longer carry, when I asked about another I was given an 'I don't want to put fourth the effort to help' kind of answer. Went in planning to spend a couple hundred dollars and left empty handed.Also wasn't the cleanest and most organized I've seen this store.

They are very nice and helpful at this location. The have lots of inventory in stock and reasonable prices. The shelves are very well organized and things are easy to find. We would definitely shop here again and will recommend this location to others.

I really like the store and the improvement made in the products being carried. What I don’t like is that there is almost no one available to help a customer or sufficient Dollie’s to move larger items to the checkout. I would like a self check out option because there is always a wait to checkout

Jinky website, with several pages that wouldn't load, especially at checkout, which always makes me nervous. The prices are good, and they have lots of good stuff. Hopefully my item will be there when I go to the store to pick it up.

They have a great selection of work tools. The store is very clean and the staff are helpful. It is easy to order online and pick it up in the store.

I dont go there due to the lack of service of the employees. Last time i was there I was trying to buy a specific tool, which they had in stock, but after wandering the store for 10 minutes I head toward the door and there were several employees at the register area all talking amongst each other. That is my typical experience.

Terrible management, Terrible service, the worst of any business I have purchased from in 40 years. The only reason they got a 2 star is because the employees that work the floor and check out are polite and somewhat knowledgeable. Once you get to the service side and asking for management it's over.... I had to get corporate on the phone while in the store to explain to the management what their policies were. I was reading them their own service policy and the management team ( both assistants and the head manager) tried to tell me I was wrong and corporate has the right to change policy. Well they were both wrong once I got them on the phone with their boss from the main headquarters.

Just left store and was so happy to see all the employees smiling and ready to help. We had seen a 6ft. ladder on sale. An employee, Jimmy, was very helpful from the start. We had not been to Northern in some time. He helped direct us to the ladders and made sure we had the correct one and offered to help with anything else we need. We will be back! Top notch customer service which alot of retailers are lacking. Thank you Northern!

Update:I had to go into bank to have the extra charge removed from my bank account. I highly recommend anyone whom has ordered from them to carefully review your statements or accounts as this is questionable behavior. My bank was reluctant to remove and only did after I showed them email stating charge would be removed per bank (the bank was confused why Northern felt like they can talk for them). I will not order from this company in future. Also one of my planters were missing directions and entire screw set. I will gladly go into Lowe's to avoid dealing with Northern Tool again.I ordered some planters online and then went ahead and got the membership for free shipping. Then today whole lot of money went missing from my bank account. Charged me twice for one order. I contacted them to remove 2nd charge-they claim the first will drop off. Not one other retailer has done this and I order online all the time with absolutely no double charges except for Northern Tool. Exceptionally disappointing.

Terrible customer service. When I tried to pickup my order I placed online the employee said to me “omg why would you order that” and rolled her eyes. The employee who has never even done the job I’m doing who works a 9-5 at northern tool asked me if I know what I was doing with a power washer. I finally said to the woman I said “ are you the one spending the 400$ on the power washer?” When she replied “no” I said “okay then your opinion does lot matter to me.” Just overall a really big waste of time. Employees are also all weird and don’t know much about what they’re talking about 10/10 weirdos for sure.

We were visiting from Memphis, TN. A storm came thru Memphis after we left for Knoxville causing wide-spread power outages. We decided we needed to get a generator before heading home. My husband put the items in my NT cart. I went in the store, showed them my phone and explained my situation. Everyone was very sweet and helpful. The man who walked me out rearranged my luggage to accommodate the generator. He even gave me ideas of things to do in the area

I wanted to buy a Milwaukee battery powered blower. Their website said they had it in stock but I called ahead just to make sure. I was told they had three in stock so I drove 20 miles to pick one up. When I got there they looked and told me they didn't have one. I got to drive another 20 miles home empty handed. The manager seemed totally unconcerned about the inconvenience and cost I was put thru. I've bought thousands of dollars of tools including Milwaukee from Northern Tool in the past. Never again.

My husband found what he was needing. I personally hate the smell of rubber in the store but that's just me and my allergies. He always likes to see what they have. He was excited to see they now have Stihl products!!

Went there to find a tool box for my bed, the young man that helped me was Jimmy i believe. He took it outside for me and mounted it for me. I wanted to tip him but his integrity wouldnt allow him to take it. Great store and really pleasant employees.

The 5 day store pickup for online orders is too short. I live 100 miles (round trip) from the store and it's difficult to drive that far within the 5 day period. Called the manager to hold a couple of days until I could drive there and he argued about it. For something that's been played for, its ridiculous that the item can't sit in the back of the store a couple of days longer. Not very good customer goodwill.This has reduced my purchases at your business.
