I have been a customer of this location since it was first built. I recently began ordering through the app for pickup. I placed an order last night using several digital coupons that were available in the app and was given a total of $88. This morning during pickup, my total was $105. The very kind employee did her best to explain and told me that this happens frequently and that sometime coupons expire after ordering and before pickup causing the price to jump. This is a very shady, dishonest business practice. The employee offered to cancel my order but I needed the items. For Kroger to have a system in place that can randomly cause an order to jump in price by nearly 25% for loyal customers is beyond dishonest and unethical. For Kroger to expect customers to remain loyal with such business practices is foolish.

I most certainly consider this location “my” Kroger. It is always well stocked and clean. The employees are friendly. Even though it is usually busy, there is room in the isles to move around. I usually do not have to wait too long in the checkout line. The Kroger Pay option on the app saves me so much time.

Well organized and clean, this Kroger is a great example of a well managed store. I will also say that the staff were courteous and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and taken care of as well.I will say that the gluten free options weren't as robust as I have seen in many other Kroger stores, but it wasn't the worst selection I've seen.

Best Kroger's is absolutely they have tools of all types all types of gloves all types of tapes everything that you will need to work around the house. This can come in handy if you do not want to go to Home Depot if you don't want to go to Lowe's, they have screws both nuts they have it all right here.

I love Krogers in general but this particular Kroger's makes you walk more than any super Krogers I've ever been in from the parking lot to buying bread, what a journey! The layout is very confusing

Very old. Very tired. Very out of date when compared to any other modern Kroger or other megamart grocery store. Kroger needs to bring this store up to current standards or close it.

The last two times I've been here there has been a family trying to sell Boy Scout fundraising popcorn. I'm all for the Boy Scouts, don't get me wrong. However, the mother of the two boys selling instructed them to stand in the doorway of both the entrance and exit to the store. I am in a wheelchair and to get into and out of the store I had to verbally ask the kids to move each time only to get stared at. I had to ask twice before the kids would move. I just want to be able to get groceries without having to ask someone to move to enter a store. Unfortunately, until this stops I won't be going back to this store.

Grocery stores are not exactly havens of excellence or over-the-top customer service. However, I always leave this one feeling like they tried. And despite that being a low bar, it's still better than most everywhere else. I rarely see anything that is off-putting either in terms of cleaning or organization. It's a smaller store than its counterpart down the street. But I prefer it that way.

Store was stocked mostly fine, Didn’t have my flavor of pillsbury biscuits but the front end was a hot mess 10 customers and one lane open! Disgusting abuse of the employees. My cashier was lovely.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this Kroger! Love the staff and the setup. However, the fact that this store has been given hand-me-down, used shopping carts is absolutely ridiculous!! I’m an Instacart shopper so I’ve been to every Kroger in Knoxville and even some outside of Knoxville and not one other store has buggies in this bad of condition. Every time I come to shop here, I have to test out about 7 different carts before I can find one that rolls…..who has that kind of time to do that…? I want to come shop and not have to worry about wasting time finding a freaking buggy. Something like this just blatantly shows the lack of care from the people higher up. I see the employees struggle so hard to push stacks of them back into the store bc they barely roll. Get it together and get this store new shopping carts!!! This is a very busy store and it deserves to be treated like the other Krogers!

My daughter and I went to this Kroger today and had the best experience I've ever had in a grocery store. People there were so friendly so we so clean what made the experience so outstanding was that we went to Starbucks and Keith think it was anyways he was so sweet to my daughter I'm so polite to me. It was just a great experience. Then we go to check out the bag lady played with my daughter Abigail and I was so impressed how they were just so great her name was Jane these two should definitely be promoted or recognized for the best employees ever.I would definitely recommend this grocery store to anyone.

I am a raving fan of all Krogers. But this location off of Middlebrook takes quality and customer service to another level. I recently switched to this location because the produce is fresher, the store is cleaner and better stocked than others. The staff is SO friendly. Today I went shopping and it had been a particularly challenging week. It was my break from work and kids. I had several friendly interactions with staff members including having them as me at checkout if I needed help out to my car. I can't remember the last time I'd been asked that at a grocery store! I left with my heart full and a smile on my face. If any employees read this, please know how much of an impact you had on me today!

Avoid this place. This is my local Kroger. The smug portly female that I asked what isle dish detergent said she did not know. Period. As I found the detergent, another rotund frumpy female looked at me and chuffed. I returned the gesture when she actually said the word NO! And chuffed again, whereas I replied No MAM! And proceeded to chuff my way away from her. At service counter I was instructed by the manager that in the future I was to go to the register to check out my single item. I am an honorable disabled veteran. I put my life on the line for freedom. I want folks to free to be as stupid as they wish. BUT, i think the crew at this Kroger is double dipping on the ignorant.

I'm rating 5 stars for the sushi business inside this store! A few months ago, they changed to a new sushi company or management changed or something, and the woman that now runs it is amazing. She's so friendly and will make you a roll upon request. The fish is fresh and delicious — we get it all the time. Wanted to spread the word!

I wanted to compliment two employees in the pharmacyDevin and Chelsey. They both were wonderful to help me. I live closer to the Farragut store and had a new rx to pick up. Unfortunately, they told me that they needed to order it and would be in next week. It couldn't wait until next week. I called and spoke with Devin in less than thirty minutes I had my prescription. Also, Chelsey saved me money by using my Kroger discount card. I am retired but was in Human Resources and these are the people I hired to work for my company. You don't see this often anymore both of you are exceptional. Thank you!

The employees here are by FAR the rudest employees I have encountered in years. They can’t even be bothered to answer a question for you and only speak to customers when they have something rude or sarcastic to say. I have witnessed the self checkout employees YELL at customers about cutting in line (when the only problem was the employee not managing the line like they should have been). You can call the store and speak to a manager and they STILL will not address your concerns. They have the same awful, lazy employees that worked there for years so that is clearly the standard that Kroger has set for their employees. I would rather drop dead then step foot in one of these dirty stores infested with rude, low IQ employees who probably couldn’t even spell their names right. While walking out to my car and expressing my annoyance with the employees at this store, the little boy pushing the shopping carts decided to make a sarcastic comment about us being in “moods” to me and my friend who I was ACTUALLY speaking to. Kroger is the most pathetic little grocery store there is and all those obnoxious and rude employees can enjoy getting paid SQUAT and being miserable little losers for the rest of their pathetic lives, I’ll just keep shopping at Publix with my oodles of money where I consistently receive amazing customer service and prices, and they ACTUALLY maintain the stock on their shelves. Could not recommend this store less, if you HAVE to shop at a Kroger I would honestly just recommend anyone but this one, but overall just would not recommend Kroger to anybody. Whatever happened to southern hospitality huh?
