Super amazing, local reptile business. Our son asked for a gecko. They were very patient with us and answered all of our questions. Son is very happy with his new pet. Lots of variety - chameleons were really neat, snakes, geckos, frogs. All the supplies you need for a beginner. We bought a leopard gecko.

This is the local store you want to support. Clean enclosures, healthy animals, quality products, and knowledgeable staff. I’ve been into reptiles for almost tens years and this store is one of the best I’ve encountered in a long time. My husband and I chatted with the staff for almost an hour. We really enjoyed our experience!

I am in here weekly or biweekly to purchase crickets for my frogs and gecko. I've never had a bad experience. The animals are well taken care of - always fresh water, clean tanks, crickets are dusted, fresh produce for those who need it. This is a pet store doing it right! On top of that, the staff are great! They are always so helpful to answer questions, explain the differences in products, and share what they know about the animals they care for and sell. They're honest about the difficulty of caring for each one - a sign that they want them to go to homes they will be well taken care of! While this is low on the list of reasons why I love this place, they also have the lowest priced feeder crickets in town!

Best place to buy dubias. My first time came there. Very helpful for my bearded dragon,for feeding the dubias. My Charlie does the dubias more than crickets. For my equipment will go there all the time.

So glad these guys opened!! I got my two pac-man frogs from them. The staff/owners are amazing and very helpful. I was able to purchase everything I needed without having to hunt down uncommon items online (such as thermostats) because you can't find them in a regular pet store. I will definitely continue to purchase from them.

Awesome. Knowledgeable and friendly. Competitive prices. I discovered this place by chance. I noticed it out of my peripheral vision. They were closed at the time, but I brought my family out the next day. My daughter held her first ball python (a blue eyed lucy) and was captivated. Now we are prepping for her very first reptile. Unless we find a once in a lifetime deal, this is where we will be buying it. I even got my wife to handle one and she’s terrified of snakes. The attached pictures are a stock photo from the store of the snake my daughter held and a photo I took of the snake my wife held.

Could not say enough nice things about this place. Very clean, extremely helpful staff, and great selection. We took over care of a "underprivileged" 2-year-old bearded dragon and started off with 0 knowledge so our first stop was google to find help. This store was the closest and WOW what a great first experience. Niklaus is now a very happy dragon with better food and lots of room.

The reptile selection is constantly rotating, so you never know if you might meet a new friend!This is a family run business and all employees are reptile experts. The folks at J&J were so helpful and so patient when my son wanted to purchase a snake. They let him hold multiple kinds multiple times and never got frustrated with his indecisiveness :) They helped me with loads of tank options and guided us on care. He loves his corn snake, they read books together and hang out all day!Prices there are similar or BETTER than Amazon, so don't think you'll save any money ordering lights, rocks, hides, etc from Amazon...Thank you to the staff, y'all are awesome! We stopped by in June when my daughter wanted a corn snake for her birthday. The staff is amazing. They helped me with an entire set up for her new baby. Bought a crested gecko and a leopard gecko today from here. The enclosures are extremely clean and animals look very healthy. I honestly can not remember the last place I have gone into that had enclosures this clean. The staff is great and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.P.S we drove from Johnson City to here due the amazing reviews.

They had a lot of knowledge to share about caring for her new python and they got us an entire setup at a fantastic price! Not to mention the amazing variety of reptiles they have to look at. I can say that j&j Reptiles Is my favorite weekly stop for my pets needs I go there mainly because of the great priced feeders ,and experienced information given by the staff. A quick stop can turn into a 5 to 10 minute conversion about different spiders, Reptiles ,and thier respective care conditions. Definitely a good stop for any experienced or new reptile owner.

I went here a few weeks ago and they had a nice selection of reptiles, I purchased a few, including a gecko, pink toe tarantula and ball python. The owner was extremely nice. Two weeks later and they are all very healthy and enjoying their enclosures that I set up! Definitely would buy from here again.

Just purchased a beautiful Banana Ball from these guys today. The staff was super friendly and helpful, all of the reptiles were well taken care of, and they even held the snake for us while my wife and I went and grabbed lunch and came back to pick him up. They had plenty of supplies and were very knowledgeable about what to use for different species as far as substrate, decorations, and enclosures. I 100% recommend this place for anyone new or experienced in reptiles for all your reptile needs!
