Ok WOW. It’s always so nerve racking trying to find a new place & people you feel comfortable leaving your fur baby with... I am beyond thankful I found Dogwood! Tara & her daughters are warm, kind & amazing groomers! They went above & beyond to make sure both me & my pup felt comfortable. They were extremely communicative & incredibly sweet. Riley came back with be best haircut of her life! They are so dang good at what they do & clearly love it. It was truly the best experience! Thank you Dogwood!

I just Moved here from San Diego. Tried to connect with a couple of mobile groomers, but they didn’t get back to me… Then, one day, I met The owner of Dogwood Grooming Spa at the pet supplies plus store.. she is so personable and kind! I took My 14yr old Benjamin (he is a Bagel breed) to visit her and Benjamin Loved her and her Spa space! I was So thrilled that she could see him within a few days of our visit! Our second grooming visit was today. Again, they were able to get Benjamin in quickly! The owner and her girls that work there are so nice and love the animals like their own.. they have a nice spa and a great yard for the pups to roam around in while they wait for their turn.. dogwood grooming spa is very accommodating to all the pups needs. I highly Recommend dogwood grooming spa!! Benjamin loves it there and is so happy went I pick Him up! The ladies are beautiful, talented people and the pricing is very affordable. Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed!😊 (Benjamin gets a shave, shampoo and nails cut)

We have had our Bernedoodle groomed by these ladies for quite some time, and they are AMAZING with her!! I never worry about picking up my fur baby and her not looking exactly the way I expect! Her cut is always perfect and she’s always so happy! We are so happy with the Dogwood ladies they now take care of our Boxer Puppy’s grooming needs as well.

As far as my Cavapoo’s haircut, I specifically asked for her not to be cut too short and she came back cut the shortest I’ve ever seen it done before. I provided photos for reference, but maybe I wasn’t specific enough. My biggest concern was there was a huge bare spot left on her side that was not there before I took her. Tara was nice enough to squeeze me in her busy schedule last minute though. Sweet ladies and customer service was sufficient.

I took my Australian Shepherd Odie here today and he looks amazing! It’s been at least 6 months since his last grooming but there was no complaints and the work speaks for itself. He was very relaxed and happy when I picked him up. I’m pretty particular about he how he gets cut and I love that I was contacted throughout the appointment with questions and suggestions! She didn’t do anything without asking first and was super receptive and reminded my opinion was the most important. I will be back in July for some more color! ❤️

My girl Maeby had such a great first spa day at Dogwood! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming to us when we got there. When I picked her up I could tell that she had really enjoyed her visit and felt comfortable there. I am so happy with the work they did and am thankful for such a nice experience. We will definitely be back and 100% recommend.

These people are such a blessing. My dog looked so adorable after they groomed her. They put alot of time and effort even loved on her whenee dropped her off and picked her up. They are so sweet and nice. My fiance and i were both looking for a new grooming place for our baby girl and we definitly found one. Will go to again. Love them! ❤ Here are 3 before photos and an after.Update: went today to get her nails done, ears cleaned and trimmed and around her eyes cleaned. Still we had a great visit again they take great care of our baby and all her needs. Way better than other grooming places like Ruff House. 😊 (the 5th - 7th images are the before & after photos)Update again: they groomed her again they worked very hard and did an amazing job. We took our orange sable pomm to this scam of a "groomer" in late 2022. We asked her to simply trim and shape him. He came out shaved nearly bald. We said nothing and went home. Well, it's a year and a half later and our once gorgeous pomm is still bald thanks to this clown. We are going to the vet soon to see if we can get his hair loss treated. You better pray they don't say it was due to him being shaved. If so, see you in small claims court.

Don't bring doodles here. My dog is a therapy dog and in her 9 years of life has never offered to bite, even with painful procedures at the vet. She's been unrestrained and had a hematoma popped and did nothing, and yet she tried to bite the groomers which makes me wonder what they were doing. I specifically asked them to leave her a little shaggy, and she is pretty much shaved. Her ears are not layered at all and are cut straight across. She looks like lord farquad from shrek. She looks like a child drew a dog and it came to life. She also left with red irritation spots behind her ear and on her stomach. We told them to try to avoid crating her because she’s had a traumatic experience in the past with it, and yet when I arrived she was in a crate way to small for her. She did not have room to lay down, and she was sitting hunched over with her head and neck flat against the top. She loves car rides, but she was shaking the whole way home.

My two mini poodles were treated today with the absolute best grooming ever. Tara and her staff made my dogs look like show dogs. Their real poodle cut was precise and according to poodle standards, but actually better. Im so happy that I have found the right place to take my dogs to keep them gorgeous for the rest of their lives. Thank you!

They care and it shows! I have an older dog with anxiety issues and a puppy with a wild streak. I don't know what was better, the service or the price. My boys never looked or smelled better. I can't recommend this groomer enough.

Dogwood Grooming is perfect for my Nugget (Shidzu/Pom). She is always prepared and welcomes all her clients. Tara has also groomed my standard poodles in the past and the grooming was beyond perfect. I come all the way from Rogersville to get Nugget taken care of. Her shop is always clean and even smells good each time I go there. I would highly recommend Dogwood Grooming for all your needs.

Absolutely amazing! The people are so nice and I feel like my dog was treated so well there. Her haircut was exactly what I asked for. She had no knicks or cuts. I just took my little Shih Tzu over to Ms.Tara having recently moved to the area with my wife we were looking for a new groomer. I can say with 100% confidence that Ms.Tara is passionate not only towards her craft but animals as a whole. She was incredibly nice and handled my dog with much love and care. Our dog was scheduled to be groomed today at another groomer. However, we was told that grooming doesn't mean shearing so our dog could not be seen by them today. Dogwood Grooming was able to groom our dog on short notice. I am so thankful. The staff so kind and professional. Thank you so much!

My dog is skittish around new people and other animals. But the owner and her daughter were very kind to him. By the time I picked him up only a couple of hours later, he was calm and happy. The experience was completely different than the last time I took him to be groomed at one of the big chain stores where he left more anxious than when he arrived. I will definitely be taking him back to Dogwood regularly!

I could not recommend Dogwood Grooming more!! My dog is admittedly a spitfire and a bit of a mess and somehow they always whip him into shape and send him back to me looking his sharpest and most handsome. Banks always has a bit of pep in his step after getting groomed. He looks good and he knows it. They go above and beyond in their service and I couldn’t be happier with their work. They are kind, honest, hard working, and so funny. They’re wonderful and skilled groomers and somehow even better people. They can’t be beat!!

I really wanted to love this place, but I just couldn't. When I went regularly, there were so many issues with scheduling I had to find a new groomer. Several times I was scheduled on days no one was home, or I would pick my dog up on the day and time I immediately wrote down when scheduling, and I was told I brought my dog on the wrong day. *at least 4 times this mistake has happened. At first, I believed it was a mistake on my end, but by the fourth time, I knew it would keep happening. They are so extraordinarily talented, so I was sad to go. I hope they have improved on the scheduling front!

I can't express how much I appreciate Tara and her daughter. I brought my 100 pound, 8 year old dog to them for the first time last week. Prior to this visit, I had 'tried' to groom her myself. Tara took time to give my very nervous pet the tender care she needed along with the best grooming experience. The shop is in Tara's home which I especially liked as my dog (and I ) did not have to feel like just another client in over booked facility. My dog was beautiful and smelled so good when I picked her up. There was one other thing I need to mention. When picking up my dog, I was parked out front and trying to get her to jump into the back of my vehicle but she was NOT GOING TO DO IT. I was not able to lift the 100 lbs dog myself so I was struggling. A car was approaching the driveway as I was struggling and a sweet young lady asked if she could help me. She stopped her car, got out , and helped me lift my dog into my vehicle. The young lady was another of Tara's daughters. This family is amazingly friendly and kind. I recommend their service to anyone looking for the best grooming & spa experience a long with knowing the people handling your beloved pets are tender, kind, and actually care about providing a true quality service.

My little dog is such a pain in the butt, every other groomer we’ve taken her too, we pick her up shaking like a leaf and trying to climb into my arms. We switched to the Dogwood Grooming Spa and picked up an adorable, happy, CALM little angel! She was so pleased to make friends with the groomers, they were incredibly sweet to her and she looks absolutely adorable and feels so silky soft. We booked our next session on the spot! I was able to snag a cancellation spot and was absolutely bowled over as I drove home with the most adorable dog ever. Tara was great with my baby! I have a 9 year old Pomeranian with some health issues. Tara and her daughter were great and made accommodations to make sure that my fur baby was safe during her grooming appointment. I highly recommend Dogwood Grooming Spa!
