Absolutely amazing staff. Everyone was so kind and truly puts your pet first. Bo was not a fan of the dryers, but he looks awfully cute now that the staff worked their magic on him! Thank you so much! I can not tell y’all how much I appreciate his groomed self!

My friendly Yorkie Saks was a customer for this establishment for a little over a year, every three weeks Iike clockwork. I was a very loyal customer. My stylist did a fine, fine job and the staff seemed very friendly. However, because I was late 3 times during the year of Saks’ tenure, I was told they wouldn’t be able to take my pet any longer.I can appreciate rules, I’m an U.S. Veteran. Everyone ask them, but frankly, I was unaware of this rule(my fault) and it was very abrupt, and I really didn’t appreciate it at all, I believe it was the “delivery” of the information that she wouldn’t be able to take my dog, it shocked me. I felt with the tenure I had, and the fact that my tips were very generous, I should have been provided with a final warning. I was unaware of this rule. The stylist told me that the rule is in writing on the desk and frankly, when I come to pick up my dog, and when I drop off my dog, I Never noticed the rules in writing, my apologies. But I felt there was an issue brewing because the time before this, she informed me that my dog was matted on his back legs and charged me an enormous amount for that, I do try to brush my dog out prior to coming and was unaware of this, but I still was surprised by the additional fees still paid them and still tipped her, even though her delivery was rude.Again, I have no issue with rules, They are important and I understand they are for scheduling mostly! I just felt, the abrupt treatment and the attitude that was given was “Unacceptable and not Necessary.”I called and left a voicemail with the Stylist and the owner never bothered to even call me back to discuss. My opinion: is that because they are very busy they do not care, and they felt that losing one customer was of little to no concern Consequential value to them. I’m a former business owner and this is bad customer service. The young lady that performed the services on Saks was very lovely up until this point, and frankly, I was very surprised, she even sent a Christmas card to my home last year. But, whether right or wrong the customers are what makes your business, I’ve never been rude. I’ve always apologized when I was late and charged a late fee appropriately so . Learn to work on your delivery! And the owner might want to initiate a conversation with a customer when they leave a voicemail. Just didn’t care!I found a groomer that is mobile that will come to my house to groom my nice friendly beautiful Yorkie. I think when someone patrons your business for a long time, they deserve to be treated with respect. Customer service is lacking in this area in my opinion.

Recently moved to the area and have been looking for a new groomer and Doggone Pretty was recommended to us by a neighbor(thank you neighbor!!!)My dog (Bichon/Shih Tzu mix) got one of the best grooms he has ever had, they paid such attention to detail. It was obvious they took great care of him and treated him amazing. He looks incredible, I am completely blown away. Thank you to our groomer, Hannah! You rocked it, we cant wait to be back!

We took our girl Calypso Grace to be groomed! They did amazing with her. She is a shy dog, and they worked with her to warm her up and get her to trust them. She looks amazing, and we definitely will be back!! I'm so thankful!

My dog got the best haircut he has ever gotten. He is a long haired dog so he’s a bit harder to groom than others, but the groomer did amazing. I believe her name was Alexis. Highly recommend!

We've been to Doggone Pretty a couple times now for full grooms for my 2 labradoodles, and every time I am so happy with the result. Olivia does a fantastic job on my boys and they are always happy to go and see her!

LOOKING FOR A DOG GROOMER?I’ve been having a lot of challenges finding a dog groomer that is easy to work with, get to, competitively priced, and works great with dog’s.. Doggone Pretty is now my dog’s groomer for life!Ease was the key here! I’ve been shopping around and trying to set appointment, I was first surprised at how many dog groomers don’t take large breeds and don’t say on their website, so that was a big waste of time. Doggone doesn’t discriminate and takes on the challenges! Setting up an appointment was supper easy, I just called and boom, he got an appointment. No Hoops! The only thing I notice that their wasn’t an option to sign up online. The other thing I really want to give them props for is that I dropped him off at 10 and picked him up at noon.Pricing – Like any good consumer we try to get a good balance of price and quality and Doggone does a spectacular job allowing us to measure themselves with other groomers. First, they totally understood that I was trying to find the best price for my dog. Some groomers got extremely offended. I’m sorry but we have a right to look for the best overall deal. Doggone has nothing to hide or make you call them to get the price. Their price is listed on their website for everyone to see and compare. I find this not only very convenient for us consumers, but also seems a bit more honest. Although they are not cheap, I found pricing to be fair and quality of their work spectacular.Working with dogs – Dogs have personalities and not all dogs are alike. I want to give Jordan a shout out because I can tell when has a good time, and he has a bad time at the groomers. He’s mixed with two very intelligent breeds and will express his distain and show sadness when he’s home if there was any issues. Jordan was caring and able to handle this ball of madness. She also took her time aft ward to say buy, discuss what she did in detail (while explaining Wrigley’s feelings), and answered any questions I had. Her Professionalism was great, but her personality was amazing. She’s now our dogs go-to groomer.All and all, this was a great, hassle free, experience. I think when businesses do a great job we should support them. That’s why I’m sharing this. That’s why I encourage you to give them a try and support local businesses that knock it out of the park!

Jeremy is the best! He's been taking care of our fur baby for over 5 years now! He's so gentle and patient. Our dog is very anxious and has high energy and he knows how to handle her better than anyone else. I'll always recommend him to anyone! He also does great with different types of breeds and styles that I've seen who leave before our appointments

I’m extremely picky about the grooming of my Berner and I have not once been disappointed with how he looks after leaving Doggone Pretty! We have always had fast, high quality service. He can be very anxious, but they do an incredible job with him. He is 120lbs and the price is extremely reasonable for the quality of the work they do! Highly, highly recommend.

Allison is AMAZING! Our pup gets a little anxious at the groomers from past experience, but no matter what, Allison always makes her feel comfortable and stays totally patient with her. The office staff has always done all that they can to accommodate us, and I truly don’t think I could trust anyone else with our fur baby. We’ve been many places, and this is by far the best!

I cannot say enough good, about these folks. Hannah, was the one that I had the most interaction with, she was very friendly, easy to talk too, an overall, a wonderful person. I took one of my rescues in there, his name is Dyson, he's a four year old German Shepherd, and he was in a mess, his fur was disastrous, when I went to pick him up, he was absolutely stunning. They had done such a fantastic job with him. I absolutely will be returning, if you want a good price, good people to take care of your pet, this is the place to go.And they also put him in a space that was conducive to his size, instead of a tiny little crate. I truly was impressed and every rescue that needs to be groomed, I will be back!!!!

Doggone Pretty did an incredible job grooming my pup. It was his first time going to the groomer (& he is a very anxious dog so I was nervous for him to go), but everyone was so comforting for both my dog and me. Jennifer was my dog's groomer, and she was great! I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Great place. My dog is very anxious about getting groomed, and they always take great care of him. I know he’s not their easiest client, but they do a wonderful job and do a lot to make sure he’s comfortable. I highly recommend them, especially if your dog has issues at the groomers.

Called due to the good reviews. When I brought my dog/service dog in to be bathed and nails cut I was told I didn’t have an appointment this week but it was the following week. I guarantee they told me wrong because I made my needs extremely very clear on when I needed and had time to bring him in. No apology, just snobby attitudes by the receptionist. I will not bring him or my other dogs here ever, Horrible attitudes.

We took both of our female dogs to get their nails clipped. Both of the girls have been to Doggone Pretty before. When our Bassett hound, Charlie, was taken back, the groomer kept saying "good boy", and at one point cut the nail too close, causing Charlie to yelp. No apology was given. The groomers need to do their homework in knowing the dogs- our Charlie is a GIRL- and need to let the owner know if there has been a problem, and how they, hopefully professionally, dealt with it.

I highly recommend Doggone Pretty! Everyone there is so friendly. Susan does a wonderful job on Ellie’s hair (she is a Yorkie mix) and Ellie always enjoys going there. I think their prices are about average of what you’ll pay anywhere else. And their text reminders are super helpful. I tell all my friends about Doggone Pretty!

This is a long review but please read the whole thing.We moved to Knoxville in the fall and called several local groomers as we wanted to support a local business and develop a good relationship with our dog's groomer in our new town. In November, we were quoted $85 for his full grooming services which is more expensive than a place like Petsmart ($77,) but is still reasonable for a 65 pound goldendoodle. The first experience (3 months ago right before Thanksgiving) went well, so about a month ago, I scheduled another appointment for our dog to be groomed today.This time, when my husband dropped our dog off, he was shaking like a leaf. I thought things were okay there but maybe not. My husband just thought he was naturally nervous. However, when he came home, he drank a ton of water, something he doesn't even do to that excess after a long walk! I am concerned they didn't give him a drink of water while he was there and have seen another reviewer comment on the same issue.Additionally, after the cut was finished, we were charged $101! Our dog's hair was much shorter going into this appointment than 3 months ago, and I am certain he had little to no matting - whereas last time I know he had 3-4 knots in his hair. Three months ago in November we were charged what we were quoted - $85. This time we were charged more as a base plus a "doodle fee," $101! It made no sense, I genuinely thought they must have made a mistake, so I called the groomer after my husband got home with our dog.The receptionist explained that their prices increased March 1st and that there was a sign placed on the counter January 1st regarding their price increases. I told her we were there in November and had just been quoted $85 as new customers / new to the area, so we had no way of knowing about these price increases and were never told about an additional "doodle fee" being added to the base grooming price. They have our email address and phone # on file but never communicated this - they just decided to charge us nearly 20% more for the same services we had 3 months ago. I can understand a company needing to raise prices from time to time, but 20% within 3 months and a brand new "doodle fee"? In addition, the website currently says a full groom is between $60-$100. Our dog isn't even a large dog and we were charged more than the maximum website price. $101 with no notice!What has upset me more than anything was not the price increase itself - even though that large of an increase is ridiculous - but rather how the owner Anne chose to handle things with me after I raised my concerns. First of all, she didn't even get on the phone herself to speak with me or offer to call me back. Managers should always take the time to listen to their clients and show at least some sense of empathy, as that can often go a very long way in building customer loyalty. I had a good case here since we just moved here, were new customers, had recently been quoted/charged a much more reasonable price, and we were charged more than the maximum amount their website even states! Instead, she told her receptionist to tell me this: "Anne said the sign was posted January 1st. It is what it is. We don't make any money on doodles anyway so we have to charge the maximum for them." Wow. So not only are you going to charge me an unreasonable increase from what I was just quoted, but my doodle is clearly and suddenly not welcome there because he doesn't make you any money?The response was unprofessional. I am someone who rarely, if ever, writes a negative review. In fact, when a business makes the right choices, they will have a loyal customer for life in me. I will tell everyone I know how wonderful a good business is. In this case, all I did was calmly and logically explain my situation and ask them to make a reasonable accommodation to make it right. They outright refused. This is not a business our family can support as a result, nor do I think others should.

My mother and I took her Shih Tzu dogs to this establishment. My dog was traumatized for a week. They shaved his snout way too close. He was bleeding and had stuff using out of his now. I would not recommend this place at all because of my experience. We also called and tried to talk to the manager and she was always busy. The dogs were lethargic like they had been given a sedative. She would not talk to us so we did not know
