I have just spent my 10 hour break here at this location and have witnessed how poor the truck traffic is coming in here. Even when there is a handful of Truck Parking spaces it is clearly marked that Truck drivers are not welcome to stay for their much needed rest but you are very welcome to come and spend your money in the store and buy fuel. We the truck drivers need to have a reason to come in here and bring our business to this place but instead we get the "YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE" type of message. Not so wise in my opinion. What a shame!.

Bathrooms are always closed and always dirty, the staff treats you as if you have to go there. They are rude and turn up their nose at you when using cash. Do not stop here, it was a horrible addition to the area.

Past 4 times have been unable to get DEF for whatever technical issue they had in the truck lanes, diesel pumps on the auto side freeze up regularly and then won't cancel. To cancel takes ten minutes waiting for the one employee staff to take care of the other folks having the same issues. And, worst for last. Bathrooms. Filthy. The first few years this place was in business it was a great stop. Now I have to pay a premium on the other side of the interstate to to avoid stepping in urine and actually fuel up without it taking an hour. Shame on you Thorntons.

They just want your money and that is all! No overnight parking. You cannot take your 10-hour break at this location. The store is clean but the staff is usually lazy and rude. The self checkout is a hassle when the cashier is standing right there doing nothing. The place looks great but looks can be and are very deceiving at this truck stop.Usually the bathrooms are filthy! I've learned in my old age the best way to judge any business is to walk in the bathroom before doing anything else. If it is filthy ...I leave immediately. Flies and bugs in the bathroom migrate to the food that you and I eat if we patronize this place.

One staff member was nice Bailey is her name she did great as for the other member on this day 04/04/24 she was rude I was using the restroom when I got are u almost done with a snarky attitude then when she came back tapping her dust pan in the ground only irritated me more and then the look I got as I was walking out was uncalled for

Super friendly staff and a super clean store! First time here; driving a large 5th wheel and it was easy to access the pumps as it is a truck stop as well. CAT scales available….lots of items in the store!

The store was clean. The store has semi truck parking and a fuel isle for big trucks. I didn't count the semi truck parking spots but I think it had about eight spots to park. If you are out really late at night they have prepackaged subs and other sandwiches. I wanted to buy some sandwich meat but they didn't have it. That was the only thing I didn't like. I would recommend stopping there. It is a nice store.

I think we’re just done with this Thorntons location in Kingston Springs. We stop here often for gas and the past few months the pumps malfunction and they don’t put out signs saying they are out of order, so we waste a bunch of time trying to find a working pump. We use a coupon , and the pump will pump 18¢ of gas or whatever then stop and end the transaction, making us lose our discount. Then we have to go inside and get it straightened out, then try all over again. This has happened now 3 times in the past month. I’ll gladly pay a few more cents per gallon across the street for gas to avoid this annoying hassle and waste of time.

We stopped for facilities to use during our trip home from Ohio. It is BEYOND INFURIATING when a perfectly ABLE EMPLOYEE - CHOOSES - to use the ONLY HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE TOILET STALL - WHEN A REGULAR STALL IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL AND AVAILABLE!!! I was about 10 steps behind this late teen/early 20's female EMPLOYEE as she entered the ladies restroom. NO OTHER FEMALE ENTERED or EXITED THE LADIES immediately before this young able-bodied employee! Yet when I entered just moments after the employee - the HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE STALL THAT I REQUIRE (4 spinal surgeries and a broken - in 3 places - still healing ankle, I require the wall handles to lift myself from the commode) was OCCUPIED BY THE EMPLOYEE!!!!! A PERFECTLY FUNCTIONAL "REGULAR" STALL WAS ACTUALLY CLOSER TO THE ENTRANCE, YET THE EMPLOYEE CHOSE TO AVAIL HERSELF of the HANDICAP STALL!!! OFTEN, those with disabilities have difficulties "holding" these bodily functions, so delays can be disastrous!!! It's HUMILIATING enough for this to happen when an ACTUAL HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUAL is using the handicap accessible stall, but it's COMPLETELY AVOIDABLE AND THEREFORE THAT MUCH MORE HUMILIATING when an accident occurs because an able bodied individual has chosen to DEVALUE a handicapped individual by SELFISHLY using the specially appointed facility!!! An EMPLOYEE doing so is even more reprehensible as the employee is there to provide SERVICE, NOT DISSERVICE!!! This Thornton's is located in the high 170's mile marker of Interstate 65 in Tennessee and the employee in question was brunette with a streak of greenish dyed hair!

Gas prices are very reasonable, in fact it's a good place to stop at before and after you reach Nashville... The gas prices are jacked up east bound after you pass exit 188. Bathroom are clean, and they serve pretty decent coffee.

Great friendly staff, helpfully and clean. They take every measure that I could see to make you feel safe. Before messing with food they wash their hands in front of you so there is no questions. Great keep up the good work.

I do like this place very much. The cheapest gas around gets me in the door but it's all the stuff available here is amazing. They have a wonderful food bar with the cheapest drinks around as well. I uses to love the veggies for all their sandwiches and hot dogs. They've scaled it back due to the pandemic but they again have onions and jalapenos available and occasionally have shredded cheese. I used to really enjoy their nacho bowls.They have a great selection of burgers, wraps, and numerous breakfast sandwiches to boot.Their soft serve ice cream is mighty tasty as well.I really like their discounts on the cost of gas. It really helps on the old travel expenses.All in all this is a great place to stop, refuel, and grab something to munch on. They are always clean and welcoming. I enjoy my stops here very much!!

Nice place for competitive prices on fuel. The downside is they don’t have much overnight parking for big trucks. On 9/22/21 after fueling I parked next to another truck on the side of the cat scale. We both clearly weren’t blocking any fuel lanes or exits. The cashier (Amber) beat very hard on my truck door and said I couldn’t park here. I noticed that she also told some other drivers the same thing and they weren’t blocking any exits either. So much for truckers appreciation week! I went inside and spoke to the manager about the incident. She explained that other drivers abused the parking lot and some even blocked the fuel island’s top sleep. Duly noted that some drivers will and do improvise parking sometimes after a hard days work. I will still fuel at Thornton’s and I hope that the GM has a chat with the cashiers about trying to be a bit more sensitive when dealing with us thankless truck drivers.

CLEAN GAS STATION!Clean gas station with friendly staff! The outside is very well lit up. The restroom were also very clean. The drink counters and food prep areas also very clean. Great assortment of coffee, drinks and snacks. They have self-checkout which is amazing. It was fully staffed in the middle of the night.

decent little fuel stop, there is always parking here. Deli has good food, coffee is good and the people are nice. I didn't give five stars simply because if I want to fill up on fuel I have to bring my card in. Pay at the pump limits my purchase to $150 per transaction.

Dec 29 I bought a coffee and two bacon and egg burritos that’s all I ate for the day and by the afternoon I was experiencing a lot of heartburn from the bacon then a few hours later vomiting.. I’ve eaten here several times before but this is the first time I’ve had a bad experience.. Ugh

Have become one of my favorite truck stops. Clean stores and bathrooms, nice snack variety and I have yet to meet a bad worker. No overnight truck parking, is posted. I dont know how strict this rule...actual ordinance in Chicago suburban stores.

Nice place and clean with friendly staff. The only reason I'm giving them two stars and non of my business anymore is, they don't allow overnight parking for semis. How do you have diesel island and fuel along with room to park about 10-15 trucks but not allow overnight parking. Thortons has the lines drawn and a section designated for parking but signs on doors say no overnight parking. You are okay with earning the money trucks spend on fuel but not okay with them staying the night. Won't get my business anymore.

its clean for now but the sink facets are greedy with the water only give u 2 seconds to wash also small selection of deli food i left hungry, my biggest complaint is they got all these trucks buying fuel yet only 10 parking spot
