Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of this property. Conveniently located right off the highway, with gas stations and restaurants within walking distance. Our room was recently and tastefully updated, and was spotless. The outside looks a little rough, but don’t let that dissuade you. The management was very kind and accommodating. Would not hesitate to stay again. Thanks!

Super clean and the man (I presume the owner) at the front desk was very nice the night we checked in. The prices were very fair (especially with the pet fee being only $10). Our room was clean, with the soap and towels fully stocked. Overall a very nice place. You can tell the owner is really proud of his place because he even frames his hotel license/inspection grade on the wall. For making a long drive I thought this place wasn't going to be as nice as it was but it was way better than I could have expected. The only thing I'd say is lock your doors. Someone tried to open our door in the middle of the night, could've been someone confused; but there were some unsavory people in the morning who got into a dispute. Overall if I was making another long drive and happened to be in the area I'd come againRooms: Clean, well kept, decent beds, and fully stocked with towels and soapsSafety: Lock your doors.

Run down hotel building. Desk manager was nice but didn’t share much info about where the room was located, wifi, or supposed continental breakfast. Walked into the room and it looked decent but smelled like stale smoke or dirty feet. Cranked up the air to air it out but it automatically went off halfway through the night. The floors were dirty! Crumbs from the previous people were ALL over the place and floors were dirty. The beds and bathroom were clean, that was at least a plus. There were no cups for coffee in the room. Husband went to get some “Continental breakfast “ and only brought back coffee. All they had was a wrinkled orange and honeybuns sitting out. Sad just sad for traveling people who pulled off for rest at the spur of the moment. Choice hotels need to check up more on their franchises!Noteworthy details: Just don’t!

Enjoy our stay. The rooms were clean and smelled good. I felt very safe at this hotel. Thank you we will return again.Stay number 2: Always a good stay. Great price , quiet, plenty of restaurants, gas station next door and door dash is available. We travel all over the country and this is one of the places we stop outside of Nashville. Thanks again!

I'm a firm believer in u get what u pay 4, and let me just say for the price I got MORE!!!! This is a low key spot with Very Clean rooms, no stains on bed sheets or pillows, no stains on floor, bathroom, sink, or tub..wonderful sized TV, Refrigerator, and microwave, ac/heater worked with no crazy smells when I turned it on.(yall know what I'm talking about). Service was great, and there is a family Restaurant the next parking lot over..the only thing is if u r a truck driver like me , they only have 2 or 3 parking spots for big trucks besides tht 5 star and I look forward to coming and staying again.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE USING CHOICE HOTEL REWARD POINTS!!! I made a 3-night reservation using points, and after the first night, the hotel CANCELLED my reservation for the remaining 2 nights because they could sell the hotel room for more money.Here's what happened: After the first night, I went to a Vanderbilt U to help my son move in. At 5 p.m., the front desk attendant called me and asked why my things were still in my room. I told her I made a 3-night reservation. The front desk clerk lied to me and said I had made a one-night reservation. I told her I had a confirmation from the hotel and said I could email it to her as proof. She said the hotel reservation said one night and the hotel doesn't have a way to get emails (really?)She then said that if I didn't return immediately, she was going to put my things (including my computer and other property on the street). I begged her not to do that.I immediately called Choice Hotels customer service, and they told me the HOTEL CANCELLED MY RESERVATION THAT MORNING. (They could see it on their electronic records). Choice Hotels said that the Kingston Rodeway hotel is an independent hotel and they are asked to agree to the Choice Rewards program, but they don't have to! As a courtesy Choice Hotels gave me more reward points so I could stay at this hotel one more night until I could check out the next day.When I returned to the hotel later that night, I asked the front desk clerk for a copy of my check-in papers that I signed the first night I stayed (which showed I had a 3-day reservation)... and she said they destroy all check-in papers the following morning. (Right, sure they do... lol).The hotel had indeed removed my things from the room I checked into. I checked into another room.While it's true the hotel rooms at this place are renovated and adequate, the exterior of this hotel is a dump. The hotel's reception room has an open door to a dump of a liquor store and there was often a drunk or two hanging around around front/next to the hotel reception area.Bottom line, you definitely don't want to say here if you plan to use your hotel points - this hotel may cancel your reservation with no advance notice like they did for me.And, frankly, if you're paying money to stay at a hotel, you can do better elsewhere.

We stayed 1 night and it was a great experience. No complaints at all. I booked online, just picked up our key and went to the room. The two women at the front desk were very pleasant. The parking situation is not great, but there's not much room for expansion. The room was clean, newly renovated, no bugs, no odors. The bed was perfect! I hate flat hotel pillows so I brought my own, but the bed was exactly how it should have been. Definitely will stay here next time we travel.

Super convenient location. Bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Excellent place to stay right off I-40 for a quick overnight, especially if you're traveling with a four-legged friend. I've stayed multiple times and will again without hesitation. This place is a bargain.Don't be put off by the exterior, which can best be described as "sketchy looking". The rooms are all remodeled and nice inside, hardwood floors and clean as can be. There's a bit of a gap between the window and curtains, so the rooms can tend to be be pretty bright at night. Bring a sleep mask if the brightness will deter your slumber.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms are newly remodeled and clean. The bed was so soft and comfortable. The pillows were very nice. The room was very clean. I felt like I stayed at the Hilton for Rodeway prices.

Our stay was great, despite arriving late at night. The staff was very friendly, and checked to make sure we had everything we needed when I sent for coffee in the morning. The gentleman cleaning the rooms was very sweet and friendly. The only two negative things were that the bed was on a metal box frame so I felt bad getting up to tend to the baby throughout the night, and there wasn't anything we could eat offered for breakfast (since we have gluten allergies and don't eat sugar). Aside from that though we would stay here again.

This hotel has been renovated, and therefore it is in nice shape. The room was comfy and modernized, and there was no smoking allowed, thankfully. The staff was so friendly and helpful, from start to finish. I wish all hotels in this price range were this nice. Keep in mind, it is close to I-40, so there is a fair amount of noise at night.

I got a room and found that the neighbors were very noisy so I talked to management and they gave me a new room with no problems. He was very accommodating.Noteworthy details: I was surprised by the appliances that were available in the room, there is coffee makers refrigerator microwave even ironing board with the iron also a hair dryer.

Very clean, comfortable room. I have no complaints. Yes, it’s relatively basic, but that’s what you expect at this price point. There is a limited breakfast (oatmeal, granola bars, yogurt) and coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

After having a rather unpleasant experience at an establishment across the street, I was so relieved when Kayla, the front desk worker, greeted us. She was kind and helpful. We received a great rate as well. The rooms were impressive to me. No carpet, nice laminate, comfy beds, large mini-fridge, and big screen TV with HBO. Honestly, this is the most pleasantly surprised by a hotel experience I have been. Highly recommend this establishment to anyone passing through Tennessee.

I travel a lot, from 5 star hotels to your average motel. Stocked with everything one needs, this Rodeway had to be one of the cleanest hotels I have slept in; and the mattress was so comfy, I did not want to get up the next morning! Stocked with everything one needs.The evening front desk lady was one of the friendliest and most enjoyable person I have spoken with in a long time, very helpful and knowledgeable. The housekeeping staff was also extremely friendly.What I also found interesting, is that they have a liquor store attached to the front office! Now, that's convenience, LOL!

I am a travel healthcare worker. A lot of Choice hotels charge for my dog even with a letter that I need her. I was driving from Michigan to Texas and I called to see how much they would charge for my dog with the letter. The woman told me, "I love all the pets." She didn't charge for me dog nor did she even want to see my letter.The room was SUPER clean! I stay in hotels all the time with my job and I have some horror stories that have kept me from being able to sleep. I was so happy to see how clean it was. The shower was AMAZING and the TV was big enough I didn't even need glasses to see it. I was exhausted so I didn't watch a lot of TV anyway but it was nice to have the option.I was in a hurry to hit the road so I left at 4 am and met the nicest young man when I checked out. I had forgotten I used my rewards to pay for the room and asked for a receipt which created confusion. He was so kind and didn't treat me like I was dumb.Choice hotels should be so proud to have this hotel representing them. The only negative was the excessive amount of points Choice charged for my room which is no reflection on the hotel so I am still giving 5 stars. I wish I could give 10! You usually get what you pay for but this place is inexpensive and clean and comfy.

I only parked next to this place but I would never stay there. There was dead stuff next to the parking lot and probably a dozen vultures when I pulled up. Plus I felt uncomfortable in the general area.Easy on-off access to the freeway and right next to a gas station and Arby's.

Room was nice. My issue was they post and have on their sign a “Continental Breakfast” coffee and 5 things from the vending machine is not a “Cont Breakfast”. I don’t have high expectations for a 2 star hotel, but honesty is required. Otherwise this would have been 5 starts.

Needs an award 🏆❕This place really surprised me, it was nothing short of perfect. If the looks of the hotel outside matched the inside, It'd put the nearby ones out of business. This was a unique situation as I had to stay across the road a week earlier and I was dreading this bc my experience at the other one was horrible, I thought I was in for another awful experience, as these two are both Choice Hotels. Why would this one be different? Well, the room was clean and looked great, just like the pictures. The check-in took 2 min. maybe. Everything worked as it should. Towels and all linens were clean and white. Room was just welcoming and great. Everyone who works here was friendly, helpful, professional. Loved it.

We had a really nice, updated room. The shower was amazing and the bed was great too. All the amenities mentioned were available. Last but not least, Teodora at the front desk was the best. She told me about anything and everything I might need to know about the area and made me feel like she really cared about my stay. Thanks!!

the staff is amazingly nice the rooms are amazingly nice if I had not read the reviews I would have never stopped here. the beds are extremely comfortable just as good as any I've stayed at.and the prices are very good I will be back I would not have stopped here had I not read the reviews before stopping. so if you're looking for a clean room for the night with comfortable beds this is it.I will be back and I'm going to make this my stop on heading this direction.

Rooms were clean and spacious, but I wouldn’t stay here again! After 9pm there were lots of people, some full time residents and part of the staff, outside the rooms roaming, making noise, smoking and playing loud music. It’s very disrespectful when you’re on the road and need to stop and just have some rest.. I definitely do not recommend staying there!

Really pleased with my experience at this motel! While the outside is very dated and looks fairly old, the rooms are up to date and quite nice. My only suggestion is that they should update the exterior to match the standard of the interior. A short while after getting settled, the front office called to make sure we were satisfied and even promptly came by to check on a question we had about the TV.
