As always Lawrence food is well-kept prices reasonable and the cashiers are always friendly. Timothy Mena in Kingston Springs since 1982.3/14/22 Let's face it, Lawrence is not Public's, however what they have to offer is good for our area, the place is clean, prices are good and the meat department is very good and fresh. The vegetables and fruits have a nice selection and priced about right. They recently remodeled so give them a try as I've NEVER had a problem in over 30 years I've been shopping there.2/5/2024And as expected Lawrence's is STILL on the right track as far as I'm concerned! Fresh vegetables, good meat selection and kinda fair on prices for our area. For what one can get without driving 30 miles round trip, to say NOTHING about safety!! I'm more than happy to go there without being "armed" to pick up essentials for my household without fear of being robbed/carjacked or anything else you can imagine could possibly happen.... Why drive to Bellevue to get a gallon of milk to save fifty cents? On top of that you're supporting OUR local economy!!Every single one of my fellow SANE American citizens please continue to support our local economy when ever you can!Be safe and healthy, Timothy in Kingston Springs since 1982!

They had all the items you need, but the prices were high and the overall cleanliness wasn't too good.

Prices are high, although that can be the norm for neighborhood stores they're on the high end of high. Don't buy the rotisserie chicken it is absolutely terrible. They do carry a variety of non grocery items if you're in a pinch and need to grab something quick they might have it.

Who ever is stocking the fresh vegetables should go to other grocery stores and see how it is done to keep them fresh. The shove delicate greens into bins until they are all damaged and there does not seem to be any misting to keep them from wilting. The person in charge of the meat department also needs additional training. Previously I found lunch meat on the shelf that was weeks expired and the "fresh" beef is often already darkening. I could just be the kind of turnover they get from their clientele base but it is obvious to me that some kind of scheduling needs to be observed. Maybe a vacuum packer with nitrogen gas to improve shelf life. I'm not a grocer so I'm just guessing.

Needed some small weekly items like milk chips, eggs, ice cream. Was able to get everything I needed, except they are very limited on the types of bread. I had to go a block away to the Dollar General to get the Natures Own bread our family prefers. Lawrence's did provide wipes for the food carts which was very nice. They are always friendly, like old country stores use to be.

Very nice experience ! The staff was extremely helpful. Produce was as fresh as ever. Very convenient to have our own neighborhood grocery store. I do appreciate not having to go Bellevue on nights like these. Thx for being there for all of us :-)

Better watch the meat they mix bad hamburger with good hamburger of course u see the good on top u get home and meat is bad. Also they sell chicken that's already spoiled open it up and the smell is terrible. I no longer buy meats from them. And one thing u better check the dates on everything u buy because they sell a lot expired products. It's a shame they do this to there local community. All I can say is buyer beware.

Nice so one doesn't have to drive into town. Opens early. They have a photo machine!! Fair prices. I think they hang onto the meat a little long. Freeze or cook that day.

It seems to me that they're working harder on the upkeep of this store and it has been quite some time since I've seen anything out of date. I'm very proud of them for their improvements and wish them all the best in their future years to come. My only complaint is they are a lil on the pricey side to be in such a small town!!!

Stayed with a friend in Kingston springs before my move to CA. It was so convenient. Great selection and the workers were friendly. The towns lucky to have it. I'm all about supporting local over corporate chains. 😊

You can get in and out very fast. Some of the prices are very high for this to be our local grocery store they shouldn't charge everyone so much money or before long a name brand store will move in and shut this store down. This is our only family ran local store so help your community and lower prices. Other than that it's very clean the employees that stay there are very nice. Please keep in stock baby formula so we don't have to give our business to Walmart or Kroger thanks. If we help yawl with a income help your customers with lower prices. Tell your baggers to be a little more helpful and ask to carrier bags. Like the older days and help with cart return instead of just looking at us bring them back.

People are nice and it's very clean although prices are hard to find when shopping and looking at the shelf. Got to the register and was shocked at some of their prices. A bit too high to shop there all the time...

Great little big grocery store for all things. Many items not found in big chain store you can find here. Lower prices, very clean, and happy workers where the shelves are kept full

None of the employees wear masks and when asked they left it up to the county to "mandate it". Last time I went the employee checking me out held my food 5 inches away from her unmasked face and asked me a question. While checking out I noticed the key pad for the card reader had greasy fingerprints suggesting they don't clean them.If you care at all about your health just go to Dollar General down the road, because sub par produce and meat is not worth COVID.

I try to support the local grocery, but prices are too high on most items and the selection and quality of produce is horrible and there is little to no organic selections. Too many times I have had to dig around to find something that doesn't expire in a day or isn't already expired from the shelves. Now, I only stop here if I need something immediately and even then it is hard to find everything needed.

This place is a rip off they price things wrong and expect that you won't realize. I bought cake batter the price said 1.39 and the most expensive batter was 2.49 so it rang up as 6 dollars! And I said something they said it was a new item and not priced yet. But who would buy cake batter for 6 dollars

Seems to be the only show in town, and they do the job well. Convenient, small-town grocer offering a good food selection, boiled peanuts, and a beer cave. Squeeky-clean, well-lit, friendly feel.

Small town grocery store. They don't always carry the specific items you want/need all the time, but they do have the basic ingredients for what you need or want. My rating is based off the amount of supply and the variety.
