This has to be the worst Lowes around. Or the pickers for online orders are just completely incompetent. I go to pickup a simple 3 item order. I’m given a damaged box for an old work fan box with bracket and told sorry it’s the only one left. I tell them I don’t want it and walk back to the isle myself. There are 4 more on the shelf. 3 of which aren’t damaged. Quit wasting my time with your employee’s blatant incompetency.

Went here about 30 minutes ago and purchased two heaters. My parents and I were already done checking out at self check out about to leave. They were very busy not complaining I work in food service I understand. But, the lady at the self check out was very rude and she rudely asked to see our receipt but she asked only us? Why didn’t the five other people ahead us NOT get their receipt checked? Thought that was ridiculous. 😬Will be making a official complaint!

Horrible, we bought an electric fireplace. It quit working after 3 months, had to get a gift card because we closed florida bank. They treated me like we stole something because the cashier entered the wrong information. They need better training. This was offensive to my retired spouse who is military sarge we would never steel anything. The front desk and head cashier Horrible. Ive shopped at Lowes since 1997. I think now i will spend my money at Home Depot

Like the order ahead feature. Used the inside locker to pick up my order. It was quick and easy. One note is bring your own bag as they don't put your order in a bag. Just walking out of the store with my one item made me feel like I was shoplifting.

Customer service really lacks here. A woman in the bolts pointed out the general area but provided no help like she was busy. Then proceeded to walk by me several times doing nothing. I requested help from another employee male who could not speak clear English and again no help. I will not be back to this Lowe's.

So, the other night, I was working on a small plumbing project. My boss was out of town. When he's out of town and I have to make a purchase, he pays with his credit card over the phone. We have been doing this for at least 7 or more years at this store without any issues. But the other night, I needed a $27 toilet rebuild kit. When I tried to pay with a credit card over the phone, Mitch (night manager) refused to let us pay with a credit card over the phone. He said they have never done that before and will never do it now. When I explained to Mitch that we have always done this with no issues, he said : no, you haven't. We don't take credit card payments over the phone because there's no way to verify the person on the phone... every time I go to this store, I always have issues.... go to Home Depot

Always get great service when I come to lows but I just want to point out how friendly and helpful pawpaw Ronnie was. Instantly greeted us when we came into the outdoor area and was quickly able to show us what we were looking for. 10 out of 10 customer service coming from Ronnie!

I made a new friend today at the West Stone Dr Lowe’s Kingsport, TN. I attempted to make a $1700+ purchase yesterday. I had already did the math with their “Spring Spectacular Event”. I had already read the small print and was very aware of my purchase I was going to make. This wasn’t small change for my family and I. Our washer broke down on Easter and of course they were closed. I went back on Monday and was waited on by a young lady that kept reading the same reading I had studied. Making a long story short, by the time she had rung my $1800+ purchase and her and the manager she called advised I could not have the $100 discount after removing the sign that was clearly posted about the sale from the set I was purchasing , I left without my $1700 purchase. My husband told me to go back and talk to someone different, because we knew we were right. 3rd visit today I met Justin in appliances who greeted me with a smile and was very professional. I explained what had happened the night before and he said, “That doesn’t sound right.” I pulled up the order I had placed online that included my spring discount. He was patient a ready to help me. He took the time to let me explain, was never negative and so polite and professional. I made my $1700 purchase today thanks to Justin in appliances at West Stone Lowe’s. He should get a bonus for helping me. He just made you guys a $1700 sale that you lost the night before. Great Customer Service Associate. Guess who I’m going to look for next time I need something at Lowe’s. All I needed was someone to take the time to listen. Thanks Justin!

It's great if you know what you want. People there aren't that helpful. Some are. It's hit or miss with the workers there. Some do a killer job, some they must have found at a moron factory.So it's a gamble could be a 5 star trip could be a 3 star.

Does Lowes choose their dumbest employees to fill pick-up orders or something? Countless times I’ve gone to pick up an order, they say they couldn’t fill the order because they were out of certain items. I’ll check online, says they are in stock, so I go check myself and always find it. Do better, Lowes employees. Your job is not that hard.Update: once again I’m handed an online order that is missing items and now I’m 25 mins away from the nearest Lowes. Probably going to stop placing online orders at all. In the amount of time I have to stand in front of the pickup area waiting for someone to help me after I’ve checked in, then check the order to make sure it’s actually right, I could go get all the material myself and be out of there faster and with the RIGHT material. Again, your job is not hard but your incompetence has made my difficult job that much harder and is wasting my time and money to correct YOUR mistake. It’s unacceptable.

lied to multiple times. Ordered a dish washer that we were told was in stock, only to get ready to load it and be told it's not there! Fine, dealt with that, the store manager told us it would be ready for pick up on Tuesday, well today is Tuesday and we go to pick it up...and guess what!! They changed the pick up date, we left a number if anything was to happen but now it's pushed out to the 29th. There is absolutely no communication with the shoppers at this store. It's just bad business.

Now the Lowes on the West side of Kingsport is a really great place to go if you ever need help trying to figure out what is the best option to go with on home projects or repairs simply because the EMPLOYEES ARE AWESOME and they really do go out of their way to help you out.

I went in for Dewalt 60v flex volt tools and batteries, but they don't carry them in the store. They were nice and offered to order them, but I can just order them myself and have them shipped to my house.

The Kingsport location was well equipped and had a nice flow across the store. All items were incredibly accessible, and the staff was readily available if needed. Added bonus was the sale they're having, which allowed us to receive a terrific deal on everything we purchased in the lawn & garden section. This location is one of my favorites across several states, and I definitely recommend it. Regardless of what you're in need of, they ease any stress associated with home projects, etc.
