I love this Home Depot even though sometimes they don't have exactly what I'm looking for. They usually have decent discount paint and the employees are very helpful. They have a great snack section. Clearance section is huge

Items that are supposed to be in stock according to online app, too often are not. Depending on when you go there you may be in your own, with few staff to assist. Last visit they sent me running from one side of the store to the other to find an item. Wrong aisle, wrong section, then not having what I needed.Another item, I described what I was trying to do and they sent me here and there and none of the areas they sent me had what I needed. I wound up just roaming aisles that I thought I would find flexible hose. I know it exists, and it did, and I finally found it, but needed someone to cut it for me.So yeah I left empty handed and limping worse than when I arrived.On another visit the paint department lady (sorry forgot her name) was excellent. I needed to get another gallon of paint we had mixed a year ago, the color label was faded, so she took a sample from the drips on the outside of the can, and matches it darn near perfect. And she was friendly and fun and actually seemed happy to help.

The receiving dept doesn’t open till an HOUR AFTER STORE OPENS!!!??? can I say this Is ludicrous!!! Got here just before 6pm ( they say they unload until then) no one was here to unload us, had to stay over night then WAIT an hour AFTER STORE OPENS to get unloaded. They WILL NOT MAKE ANY ATTEMPTS TO ACCOMMODATE getting us unloaded. Was 2 trucks waiting over 13 hours to get unloaded. And I MEAN ALMOST ANY other locations would’ve gotten us unloaded! I asked to speak with a manager on duty to try and reason with them, they wouldn’t even address us personally, just kept sending us messages!!! Especially HOME DEPOT!!!! Thank a lot LOWE’S for not caring about the drivers delivering your stuff!!!!!!!

Lowe's is a hit or miss store. Some days you can find what you need or get help or advice.Too many days, not so much. Went in with a small list and was directed all over the store (mostly incorrectly) to get what I wanted, they were either out of stock or just did not have it (or possibly I just could not find it.).This recent visit, while most of the staff were friendly, a few not so much. They were not helpful, or knowledgeable as to where things were or was I getting the correct item for my project. After one too many false jaunt to not find what I was told to be in aisle 16 but was in fact in aisle 3 (maybe), I just left empty handed and a wasted a half hour.Miss the small local hardware stores.

The place that has everything for your home or business project. There are three Lowe's near to my house, but I shop at this store because it is clean, the people are nice, and it's conveniently located next to the highway.The store has clean bathrooms in the back of the store.We really enjoy the lady who sells appliances because she is so fun to talk to and helpful.

I stopped to exchange some saw blades since the ones my boss picked up wouldn't fit our saw. I took a worn blade as well as the pack to return & approached a salesperson for assistance. She walked me to the area with the blades & tried to match one up & was unable to do so. She sent me to the pro desk for assistance. I selected a blade the same brand as our saw & went to the pro desk. A salesperson offered assistance when I walked up & I showed him the worn blade, the blades I was returning & the replacement blade I selected & asked if the blade would fit our DeWalt saw. He looked at everything & said he didn't know & would have to ask someone else. He waited until another rep became available & showed him the assortment of blades. The other associate looked at the old blade & the new one & explained the difference in appearance, but assured me the new blade would fit our saw. This stop took way longer than expected. I was not very happy with my experience at this location.

I can't brag enough about this store! It's our fav for all things! We have renovated 6 houses and the staff is superior! All employees go above and beyond for service! The manager greets you at every turn! Jordan in custom cabinets is amazing! We had never used the custom design before and it was great!

This Lowes ranks low for me because there have been several employees be either rude or unhelpful. I have had them " turn the other direction" to avoid customer service. I have had one in particular be very rude about not assisting with communication with the other Lowes in town to help me replace a fan that came defective from her store. I have actually felt discriminated against in this store.Also, if you try and call in you typically will get put on hold and then hung up on. I am pretty sure this store has a subpar management team.The other Lowes in Kingsport is just fine in my opinion. Usually poor management trickles down and good management is uplifting.So, just travel the extra few miles and use West Stone Lowes for a much more pleasant shopping experience.

Not had a good shopping experience in several of your stores. Last night the employee was somewhat able to help me. I was looking for odd things to fix things at the house. The employees were great until I was ready to check out . There was only self checkout open and when I ask if you had somewhat could check me out the lady st front said right here you can checkout here. I informed her that I was informed by my attorney not to use self checkouts ever. Then another lady said that she would check me out and I said no it is still a self checkout so did you have register open that can check my stuff out. The 1st lady said right again she will check you out right here . I said no it is still self check out.Sorry but I feel someone should have opened register and taken care of the problem. Other store have done it why didn't you.

Alex from Lowe’s in Kingsport (East Stone drive) saved the day! My husband bought a very long pipe and had me pick it up while he was working. Unfortunately my Kia Soul was too small to carry it, but Alex cut it in half for me and saved me a lot of embarrassment and another trip. He was kind and very helpful. He deserves a raise after putting up with me lol. Thank you!!

Update 10/5/20 - once again this store lets me down. Called to find out when the kitchen specialist was going to be here. Came in to meet with him and he’s a no show. Home Depot is looking better and better.Update 9/11/20- This store has went downhill in huge amounts since the quarantine. The customer service is lacking. We have had to wait for assistance multiple times, with employees refusing to help or call for someone else. We had to call the front desk to get someone to page for assistance.This Lowe’s has some of the most helpful employees that I have encountered. Most of them will go out of their way to help you find an item or find an answer. This is why I keep coming back to this store!

Horrible customer service. After waiting for 20 min for sand , mother went in to see what was going on to be told " give me a minute" . I asked for a manager . Followed by another wait only for the manager to laugh . No resolve. No comment. No apology for the wait or the rudeness.Absolutely unprofessional. Get better employees.

I Always Like Shopping Here At Lowes But However They Have A Wild Bird Problem As There Are Wild Birds Just Flying Around Inside The Store Especially In The Garden Dept!!! But Other Than This Small Issue Lowes Is One Of My Top Fav Stores To Shop Where I Do Alot Of Home DIY Projects And Home Improvements!!! Great Store Great Products And Great Employees!!!

Holiday is over so guess what? You get to check yourself out! Self Check out only through front! (Weather is messing with my back or I would have walked down to the contractor end). I don't work for Lowes. You don't give me a discount because you are trying to save money in relation to employee expenses. It doesn't save me any money to do their job for them because they don't want to pay for employees. Lowes, I don't have to shop here! I don't go to West Stone Drive Walmart for the same reason so it definitely won't hurt me one bit to take my business to Home Depot!

Hard to get help sometimes when you need it.. need another person working the customer service desk, taking returns.. there's 2 computers but I've never seen a second person on it.. people lined out the inside door from waiting so long. The employee that usually is working always cutting up while people are waiting.

Wanted to call out Emma in appliance sales for excellent service. We needed a dishwasher. She was helpful (not pushy), informed, and focused. She did a great job of helping us find what we needed, and listening to what was important to us. Great job Emma!!

Again, I needed five rolls of Scotch 33+ electrical tape. There were no bulk packs, so I tried pulling the individual rolls from the dispenser. The tape was stacked so high that I could not pull out a roll from the bottom. So I reached up and grabbed 5 rolls off the top. The self checkout was busy, so I went through an open register.I didn't notice what was being rung up by the cashier. There was a roll of 33+ on top of the stack, so since I grabbed them as a stack from the top, I assumed they were all 33+. Well, when I made it back to my customers location, I reached in the bag, and there were two rolls of 33+, but three rolls of assorted Scotch electrical tape.Another case of noting being where it should be at Lowe's.

Made a online order with them and first they tried to make me pay again. Even though I showed them proof they was still trying to get me to pay. Then my husband went up their to get the order and they only gave him half of it and kept saying it wasn't in the back. So they said they will call in the morning to update me where it is or anything about the order. Two days later they didn't call so I called and the manager was very rude to us saying it was in the back the WHOLE time like it was our faults that we didn't get all the order. So we went to get the half of the order and they was telling us it was already picked up. Then they ONCE said again that it wasn't in the back. So they called the manager and after 30 mins they magically found it. My husband worked at a store for 8 years and he's still thinking it was all a prank. NEXT TIME IM ORDERING FROM A DIFFERENT STORE. Would not recommend at all!!

Lowe’s no longer gives veterans discounts on all of their high dollar products. Mowers, lumber, appliances and I’m sure many other products. It’s probably just on screws and nails!So they actually don’t have a veterans discount anymore!!! Might as well just go to Home Depot or somewhere else!!!!!Veterans need to boycott Lowe’s!!!!I am!!!!!!

People ? Great. Stuff? Awesome. The self check out? Most idiotic thing to ever happen to the store. The reason people come is for friendly interaction. I will never use a self check out. EVER I will always ask for someone to check me out. I will not even allow them to check me out on the self check out. I find it truly sad that Lowe's wants to take friendly faces away from customers.
