Won't be shopping at this location anymore that's for sure.Have been a customer for 14 years.Everything has just simply gone dwn hill at this location.And let's not type about long standing employees that have been there for years are treated screw this store seriously.Taking my hard earned cash to do groceries else where✌️

Kroger is my favorite grocery store in Kingsport because the employees are nice. I went to the store multiple times to buy a particular item on sale, but it wasn't in stock. I asked an employee about it, and she said they had ordered it repeatedly but had not received it. She remembered that I had been in to buy it more than once, so she offered me an equivalent product at the sale price and walked me to the register to take care of it. This is why I am a frequent Kroger shopper.

Having moved here 9 months ago I was told that Kroger was best for shopping. The canned goods, frozen items, produce, etc compare with any supermarket. Where they fail is their bakery and deli. Firstly, just today the deli glass is dirty as if smeared with a wet dirty towel. Not stocked with premade salads in the morning nor afternoon. Very dark corner with nothing to draw you in. The bakery doesn't have specialty rolls, croissants, larger cupcakes, nor smaller fresh cakes. These two departments need attention. In the meantime, I'll head to Ingles or Publix it'll be worth the trips!

Very poorly managed store. Difficult to navigate the aisles, due to everything DISPLAYED within the aisles. Price points on shelves RARELY reflect at registers. If you insist upon shopping here, ALWAYS watch the pricing at checkout.

Rude people work in that store. Bleach blond guy walking around the self-checkout has a bad attitude. Sometimes people make mistakes. Even us older people. He doesn’t have to smart off with “well, it’s not 1999”.

Worst experience ever! Do better Kroger with your employees… they think they own the store and can talk to and threaten customers. I go to Kroger weekly and no more after today! I’ll do my shopping elsewhere.

Has some great buys but the new program for ordering and picking up groceries has eliminated many of the handicap parking spaces. So much so that I doubt ADA compliance.Wasn't so crowded today, so no parking problems. Found some great bargains.Parking problems seem to have improved. Seems that keeping the shelves stocked is a bit of a problem.

The grocery store is great but the fuel is not in touch with the area, prices can be as much as 45-50 cents per gallon higher than other stations.

This is not a happy store. The employees love to say when closing time is. They aren'thelpful, and they are grumpy There are rarely small carts available, and one has to hunt for a carry basket. The parking lot is full of carts. The foyer has few. The store is messy. Aisles are crowded with stakes of stuff, making it difficult if not impossible to reach the items behind or above the stack. The end.

If a store can't hire cart pushers, the manager should bring in the carts. If he or she does not, the store needs to close.

I understand resorting to AI for theft detection but at what point does it become inefficient? The self checkout had me stopped to wait for an employee no joke 7 times during a completely normal self checkout process. Hire more employees and pay them right. Self checkout is already a hassle, stop making it more complicated.

Get your rotten lemons, and oranges at this Kroger slop house. This is poor management!!.Guess their trying to make people sick. Told an associate but he acted like he didn't know anything.No management on shift at 930 at night to speak with. I guess they don't think things happen at night.I'll go elsewhere for fries and veggies. This store really lacks in management/ customer service.

This store is an absolute mess. And by the way, your cashier, Jill, is extremely rude to the customers. She definitely does not need to be working there anymore. I am extremely unsatisfied with this nasty store. Management needs to do a massive overhaul on their employees.

I'm biased and love Kroger it's where I work and shop, but it does have numerous problems. Management doesn't exist to help rules fluid and meaningless. Horrible thieving customers who hold up everything trying to trick one cashier working. Digital coupons work perfectly if you can't figure it out not worlds fault, try swimming with rocks.

While I like the prices of most everything I purchase at Kroger, prices isn't their problem right now. For at least the last two weeks the produce department is swarming with Fruit Flies! This week the bugs were three times as bad as last week and at the peaches, nectarines area you cannot move without walking into a cloud of those flies! First time I have ever seen a produce department with such a horrible infestation of fruit flies- that's what I assume they are.

Used to be kingsport's premier grocery store. Now it just has kind of a weird vibe and many of the cashiers are rude AF. Honestly not sure what happened here. They do have a decent selection of items but it's all sort of pedestrian. I've started driving to Johnson City just to go to fresh market. It's crazy expensive but at least has some different things there.

I went into a Kroger's store out of Masfield, OH. A few years back. The 5 lb hamburger had ripped plastic in the refrigerator area. The store it self was over staff. Now out West. Smith Grocery stores are owned by this chain. If you drive a 18 wheeler and need to deliver in Ohio to the DC. Pack a sleeping bag. The DCs are a joke. And some of their stores are just as bad.

I love to shop here however I will have to shop somewhere else now. What I loved: online order placing and pick up outside, easy going staff that make returns easy, online coupons (great savings), fuel points, good selection of non dairy for my allergies.What I don’t like and why I’m no longer a customer: I consistently come home with expiring day of or expired meats and veggies (from online order), and even rotting meat when the expiration isn’t near. That means that they are practicing some good ol time and temperature abuse here.It’s not fun to drive across town twice in a day to take back the supper I had planned because they can’t keep their food safe to eat.

I very frequently shop this store because over the last year it has gone downhill. Today Sunday, September 18, 2022 a bland Odor that smelled like vomit from the vegetables all the way past the meats. The front only had two employees working and no one at the front desk. I really hate leaving a bad review but the last few times it’s just been a really bad experience and I hope this gets the attention of someone in management. I ask a young gentleman for help today about a product and he laughed and said good luck as he went through the back doors very rudely. Please clean up your store and your employees attitudes.

I honestly don't understand why everytime I come in this store some of the workers are annoyed to do anything for you. We shop for our business and they act like it's an inconvenience to fill a form out or to help you. I also don't appreciate the back talk or the rude behavior. If it wasn't for our business needing supplies I'd never come in here. Simply because the people are hateful. I am not one to even say anything but I've had enough.

Worst pickup experience ever, waited more than an hour with my 2 year old in the car. Kids loading the groceries didn't care & showed attitude when asked why it took so long. Called the manager next day, all he said was giving me a 25 dollar credit, which is not solving the problem.I don't understand if they can't handle pickup service why offer, pure stupidity.Not going there anymore.

Just had to self-check and bag $200+ of groceries while 3-4 young kids goofed around. I won’t be back. If you desire to spend 20 minutes fumbling around and bagging your own groceries (even if you have a lot), go to this grocery store. If not, go somewhere else.

I was passing by in my Airstream and need some groceries and just couldn't pass up getting some of their ferns and other tropicals. They made the ride home in the shower. I'm the first house in my town in Ohio to have ferns. Just have to bring them inside every night because it still gets down to freezing at night.

Lawsuit forthcoming!! Waited 35 minutes for pick-up order. Young kid told me, a 60-year old woman, that he didn't care if I had called the manager; slammed my groceries in the car; asked him to stop; threw in raw chicken, asked for a bag, told me to get it myself; gave me the wrong groceries; manager (Tiffany) arrived and left; said to different manager if he wasn't fired, something was wrong; said in jest that if I saw him again I might have to slap him. The manager (Tiffany) confronted me in the store in front of customers that I had threatened her employee, who wasn't even there when I said it, and called the police, humiliated me, the police showed up at my house. I am now banned from the store.
