I was in Dollar General today downloaded my 5.oo off coupon and it didn't take it off. I went through self checkout. I went to the lady at the register and explained and her answer well it's already tang up can't do nothing about it. Will not shop there again.

I went to penny shop and got 8 ensures that were on the floor and the penny policy states that u cannot refuse sell if on floor and the manager there, Margaret said that it didn’t matter that they were on the floor, she wouldn’t sell them to me. I tried to explain the penny policy to her but she said she didn’t care and she knows more than me because she penny shops at other stores herself. As a dollar general employee, u cannot penny shop. Please be aware of this lady of her unkindness and rude management!

Ashley assisted me yesterday while I was shopping for cleaning supplies. Very sweet young lady and seemed very knowledgeable. We had a bit of small talk, and she amazed me with her kindness. Usually go to the newer store, as it’s closer, but Ashley is one of the kindest employees I have ever witnessed in retail. Will make this my go to store from now on.

Honestly if this store could get negative stars that’s what I would give it. I’m not sure what has happened to it this last year but it has completely gone down hill. We are no longer allowed to return items or exchange for a different item even if offered to pay the difference, they don’t allow THEIR digital coupons and do not care to help with anything. A few months ago I placed an online order for pick up and it said the order was ready so I went to the store and asked the lady who was working about the order, she proceeds to tell me they do not do online orders. I showed my recipient and email stating it was ready and she told me that I HAD TO GO GET MY ORDER MYSELF. I told her no, it says it’s ready and she proceeded to tell me that she doesn’t do that and won’t. This store is absolute garbage now.

A really good place for about anything. When you walk in the workers are smiling and asking how you are and are very welcoming. This is a great place for some very light grocery shopping (chips, bread, paper towels, etc.) They also have a great clothes section. Along with the stationary and party section. Public Restrooms.

Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately this Dollar General was like most of the others in the fact that it was unattractively overstocked to the point of being annoying. Annoying because it was impossible to browse through the clothes racks and see the items well or without items falling to the ground. The store was cluttered with clothing under the racks, various other items strewn about the shelves and floors. Also the cash register system kept crashing. But again, I have to say that the staff was friendly, helpful and patient as well.

The friendly workers is the only good thing about this store. I work in VA so I shop the DG up there in that area, because this one, closest to my house, is terrible. I moved here last year and was so disappointed when I saw that this was my local DG store. It's so dirty and kind of hard to navigate through. It makes me claustrophobic. It has a dirty feel and stock seems to be lacking compared to the other DG stores, even the ones in the same town. I quit going in altogether because on so many occasions, it was cash only no cards. I don't carry cash and don't plan on it anytime soon. I hope that this store can improve. It's in a nice busy location. It's definitely the store, not the workers. They have all been nice, going above and beyond to be helpful.

Always a great selection. Always a friendly staff except for the one guy that works at this location. He is a hateful turd with no personality what so ever! If the got rid of him this would be the best Dollar General Store in the region. And the cleanest and very well organized compared to the other ones around here.

Good. People who work there are friendly and very helpful. Sometimes a little messy but that's shoppers just moving things they decide they aren't going to buy. I like this store second only to the the one on Memorial Blvd that is a D.G. Market.

Love all the Dollar General Stores because they do have good items in there they might be a mess but and all their defense people going there and trash their stores and shame on Dollar General they should give them more help to clean it up so the customers can find stuff to buy I never understood that usually there's only one or two in a store and it's a mess and I don't think that it's the person's fault that works there just saying. I don't know how many they hire but you can't be on a cash register ringing people up and cleaning the store up at the same time and I have seen this a lot!! The one on Bloomingdale horrible!!! I don't know how many people work at that one but they need more employees jeez can't find a thing in that store because customers destroy it and if they don't your employees are not working just saying LOL no offense but I do think the employees working cuz they're checking people out!!!

Amazing experience with the crew on shift. Manager was very polite and professional. The store was very busy, but the shelves were stocked full and the whole place, including restrooms, were very clean.

I really enjoy my local community Dollar General Store it's great having it in the neighborhood that way I don't have to drive all the way to the grocery store to pick up milk or just to grab something to make sandwiches it's out the door in 5 minutes later I'm back instead of having to travel all the way to the grocery store and back which is an additional 20 to 30 minutes glad they're here in the community

If I could give it no stars I would . This dollar general is a disaster, the employees are friendly and it's not a reflection on them that they have to deal with the corporate agenda. The aisles are packed, the structure itself is a relic and seems to be forgotten. Their is alot of focus on the new dollar general stores while the old ones are falling apart. Long over due for a remodel or a wrecking ball.

Pretty good shopping center if you have a Dollar to spend! And it's all Just a dollar, on a curving scale. Honestly its nicer than handing it all to some mega center and having to Rove through crowds of people to get some soap or water. It's not always nice to feel like your at a concert when you need a few basic items and pass all the things you dont really need being shoved to the front of the store so you will be enticed to buy them. Sometimes the giant stores get it right a figure out that the I just couldn't go through life without that pair of rubber crocks that make someone look like their from a medical institution. Life just couldn't function properly without the cheap overseas product that was thrust upon our shelves here at home. Cheap overseas items really help my journey through life have meaning and feel better about our countrys commitment in foriegn relations through trading of money for life altering goods. If you have no job here you can feel good about our help globally in todays market for those millions of miles away.

Gave me a great deal because they had prove tags mixed up and honneres a 2 for3 deal that was really 7 bucks to get two but sure honored it and admitted she accidentally mixed them up and fixed the tags i thought it was nice to still give the discount and she was nice to talk to and deal with as well.....recommended in bdale they are very nice there almost everyone that works there the ladies espcially courtney

Good for a quick grocery stop but you can find most things cheaper elsewhere. Staff is friendly and store is clean.
