This is the first time I have been there. And I love it. It's a little pricey, (but what isn't these days), and worth it. If you like organic, fresh, and healthy this is definitely worth a visit.

Get an email that I can get a slice of birthday cake, but have to go to app. Try to download app, it won't download. Try to go to website, can't log in. What a sick bait.Got burned with coffee because the cups are thin, extremely collapsible plus lid does not attach properly. When I tried to pick up my cup, it collapsed inward sloshing coffee everywhere. No paper towels nearby to clean up, all staff aloof staring off into space

Lighting in the store was great. Prices are a little above my head as a college student, but the store looks very good. The produce caught my eye, especially the way the celery was stacked on the shelf. It's the little things.The cashier was very friendly and complied with our strange requests to not bag any of our food. Staff was very helpful.

Love the atmosphere and the music playing overhead! Great bakery selection, I really wish I wasn’t on a diet because the tiramisu looked delicious! The deli worker was very helpful when I bought smoked salmon. My only complaint is the inattentiveness of the cashiers. They were having a conversation amongst themselves and hardly acknowledged me and my husband while they were ringing us up.

Great place to find stuff that's not a normal grocery store. Little more high-end food great selection of trail mix. Good price on ground chuck today. Got some stocking stuffers. Has a wide variety of cheese.

Very nice, but very expensive also. They mainly carry food, other than that only some pet food and a little detergent, and of course flower arrangements and beer and wine. They didn't have any sunblock. I tried a free sample, but I didn't enjoy it. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

As if they aren't expensive enough they now feel the need to seriously charge customers for bags in this ridiculous economy! Lost a customer! I guess my 190.00 wasn't good enough..they needed to scam an extra .35 cents from me. It's the principle of it! It's sad the owner responding didn't even address the actual review about charging people for bags! It's ABSURD!!!

Great for getting items that are unavailable anywhere else (i.e. fresh ground almond butter with no salt or sugar, certain baking ingredients, cheeses ect.). Bakery and deli also have a nice selection of items unavailable at your general store.Prices are high though, if you want to buy items available at your local grocery store you will pay more for the same item.Customer service is friendly with fast check out.

Once again... I travel 43 mi to get to your store to buy the Chuck Roast that is a WEEKLY SPECIAL - I get there and, ONCE AGAIN you have NONE IN STOCK!!!! Really? 4th time this has happened with a WEEKLY SPECIAL ITEM NOT BEING IN STOCK. The term FALSE ADVERTISING comes to mind. Truly unprofessional- will never make an effort and/or waste my time again with this so called 'business'. And mngmnt' could give a flying... about it

Fresh Market is my favorite grocery store. The items offered here are superb and they have a very large selection. As someone who has to follow a low carb diet, the fact that they offer riceless sushi is amazing! I will say the prices at this store are pretty high, but the quality of the products is often worth the cost.

Clean, beautifully laid out but most of all the very best of everything. Upon entering you will be so pleased with the flowers, candy, fresh vegetables and fruits to the individual attention at the butcher counter, in the deli and do not pass up the bakery! The wine selection is great. You will be hooked just like me....a happy returning customer. I simply can't relay enough good information and description to express the high quality you get in every way at Fresh Market.

If I could afford it, I'd do ALL my grocery shopping here! The Fresh Market is the most impressive grocery store I've been to. They have products that no other local stores have from produce to cheeses to sauces & dressings. Their meat counter is phenomenal - such a huge variety of items. Their seafood has always been fresh. The prepackaged soups & salads & quiches are excellent. They have an amazing selection of craft beer as well!! I wasn't even looking for beer on my last visit, but a chocolate strawberry porter just in time for Valentine's Day couldn't be passed by! Staff is typically friendly & helpful & the store is always clean! This is without a doubt my favorite grocery store in the area & I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality grocery products & willing to pay the tiny amount extra to get them.

If you don't mind spending a bit extra money, this is a very nice place to splurge. They have high quality foods and a large variety of products. Their bakery is amazing. They have everything from coffee beans in bulk, to old fashioned candy and cheeses. But like I said, it is a bit pricey there, so watch your wallet. 😅

Hi. 7 year ex employee, that shops here regularly. I have to say, I've never been more disappointed than I was today. No issues with staff, but a huge issue with selection. I was in there for coffee, I wanted to pick up an already prepared meal from the deli. Since when is it normal to not have fresh rotisserie chickens at 6pm? I wanted the entire meal but that wasn't possible unless I wanted the dried out burnt bird in the case. No thank you! So I went around to find something else, but the cases were empty. I'm sad to see that the shelves are barren and fresh market is no longer a place I can drop in to pick up an already prepared dinner.

They have lovely gourmet coffees and treats. This is the only place in town, that I'm aware of, where you can get a gourmet cup of coffee for a $1.49. Their deli is stupendous and they have very nice sushi.

The staff here is always so helpful.When Earthfare was open, I felt like I was bothering them if I initiated contact - even at the deli where they were supposed to wrap up stuff for customers. After a long work day, getting dinner from Deli was such a relief from cooking... But I felt like Earthfare staff were agitated I even came in the store.I've always been received at Fresh Market Deli with positivity. They answer questions or make suggestions if I ask.The food is always good.I'm pretty sure they have the best bakery in Johnson City. They have French style pastries and desserts that are honestly as good as I've had in New York or Europe.Even the cupcakes taste freshly baked there. (They have actual icing as well). It's the only place I'll eat store-bought cupcakes!They have a large selection of different dietary food options. At least 5 different milks, dairy, flax, oat, almond, etc. They have so many coffees and grind sizes! So many nuts and seeds... Ice cream, health bars... The things I want for special diet needs are always available.During this pandemic, they've required a mask to enter the store. Everyone is always wearing one. Which is important to me since I have family members that are high risk.Classical music is always playing, the lighting is also nice. You can still see, but it's a softer light that that of most grocery stores.. Making it feel nicer and calmer in the store.I like it. You will too.

I love our Johnson City Fresh Market! Every detail is attended to along with a beautiful shopping experience. Expect to find exceptional deserts, meats and a sundry of sauces and cheeses. The cashiers are extra nice and always helpful. The guys in the meat department are excellent at special cuts of meat and going out of their way. The pricing is very reasonable for the experience. Thank you for all your extra effort!!

We always have a great experience at Fresh Market. My last visit was exceptional. They didn't have the pre made salads I usually get with the Pizza's. The young man in the deli went to the back and made two of them for me. I really appreciate him doing that.

Fresh food and helpful employees. Much improved organization from last year. Was able to check right in without a line. Maybe a 3 to 5 minute wait for the order to be brought out of the back where the order was kept refrigerated. Prices high. But this is consistent with all grocery prices these days.

I live in Phoenix Arizona but I love this food chain. They have interesting selections and really an excellent Bakery. Also there vegetable selection is really good. They are however expensive and so I can't shop there as much as I would like to.

I ALWAYS like shopping here! The atmosphere is amazing. Comforting, homey and friendly. I especially like the lighting - not overly bright like most stores are. Makes me want to just stroll around and browse the aisles. My only complaint is the high prices. My family of 7 just can't afford to shop there most of the time, but their $2.99 Tuesday deals bring us in on a regular basis!

Staff friendly, deli great and well stocked. Definitely needs to be a rewards system in place and definitely need a senior citizens discount to be more competitive with comparative local grocery stores. Missing PR and targeting shoppers! Would have been 5 stars if rewards and senior discounts in place!
