I like their selection of items and I frequent this place as I have 5 cats and feed a cat at work. However, lately their customer service has been poor. I had a bag of cat litter that tore open and when I asked for assistance in getting the hole repaired, the staff did less than the bare minimum in assisting me. I don’t know what the protocol for assisting with bagging items are but I had a lot product and it took me a while to get it back in my cart. The cashier didn’t offer to help and just told the customer behind me to wait until everything was bagged. I’m tempted just to start shopping online if this is going to be current state of customer service at PetSmart.

Lots of cool things for the fur-babies, feathered little ones, and kin with fins.I saw reviews about the grooming station, but I didn't use it. The toys and food options for the dog are plentiful. I like the cute dog beds (similar to the ones I saw in Modern Family). I'll attach some photos for visibility.

Great sales and a nice selection of products for a variety of special pet care needs. Their dog toy selection offers the most variety for our Malamute who loves to destroy toys. The Kong and Bite Force are his favorite brands since they sometimes feature DuPont Kevlar and at $20 a toy, they last even the most aggressive of chewers.

My wife and I just walked in, and quickly walked out. This store smelled worse than any store I’ve ever been in before. The foyer where the carts are was enough to make me almost throw up immediately. It didn’t get much better once we were in the store. We never have anyone greet us or ask if we need any help. I have to run someone down and it’s always a hassle for them to assist me. Terrible store.

The salon was terrible. They did not honor their appointment first off, and offered to at least do a sanitary cut. My dog was scared, it was his first groomer experience, I told them multiple times they need a muzzle, he’s bit before and they acted like they couldn’t hear me, my dog growled at them and for the 4 time I told them let me help you he needs a muzzle and then they were surprised when they got bit and refused to go any further and then asked, would you like to reschedule???

Was so nervous to bring my 12 week old shitzu in but our groomer did such an amazing job and he’s happier than ever! Sadly I forgot to ask my groomers name but I highly recommend their work!

This is a good place if you have a dog or a cat, or something else. There's nothing with a wider selection of products than this place - at least not nearby. I was shopping for a new harness for my dog. PetSmart had a few, but the selection was sparse. The checkout person told me that they restock three days a week. I'm not sure that was helpful. That's all she could say. This is due to the recession I guess. We really enjoyed meeting the other dogs. The atmosphere and the vibe was super sweet otherwise.

They have a better selection of bird toys for big birds than the Kingsport store. Plus the vet is right in the store and treat my feathered babies very well.

PetSmart of Johnson City, TN groomer Emily. Dropped off my beautiful doodle and was told she had matting and the groomer didn’t think she could get them out (hind sight it’s probably because the groomers are incompetent) my Nala has 6 burns and an infected paw requiring 2 different antibiotics. Manager Brandon, I was hopeful he would be helpful and actually “investigate” as he said he would; however he calls me back 3 days later and accuses me of causing the cuts on my doodle prior to her groom and that her burns are because the groomer had to shave so close. Pictures are from her horrible botched cut including a burn on her bottom- that had NO hair in the first place to even cut. They offered a “free groom for my time .” Don’t take your fur babies there.

I have had nothing but positive experiences here! It is always very clean and well organized and stocked. I have been using the grooming salon for my pups for the past 8 to 9 years, and every one of the groomers are fantastic!

Took my Goldendoodle for bath and cut. He only needed his head trimmed. The girl who was supposed to do him had a dreaded look on her face when we came in. She then called me 30 minutes later to say he’s moving his head too much and it can’t be done. (Another girl from that location shaved his whole head before) when she called I told her to go ahead and just bath him if she couldn’t do the head. She said no the cut has to be done first. Basically telling me my dog can’t have any service whatsoever. They have packages for bath only at Petsmart. She needs training on her skills and also not look like she hates the world when you walk through the door. It’s obvious she just didn’t want to work on a big 75 pound dog. Waste of time

UPDATE: Gracie's spa day was just as awesome as the last. Her haircut looks amazing and her nails perfect. Thanks Petsmart for such wonderful professionals who appreciate the responsibility of our fur babies placed in their hands.In addition to every product under the sun, the personnel are awesome: especially Cindy. Additionally they have hassle free returns & if you are member, a lost receipt is no problem.The groomers are really good with your loved ones and don't mind telling you if a particular service isn't ideal for your pet. IE: Gracie is extremely black but my wife wanted the purple chalking service. The lady suggested that I reconsider as it would be a waste of money because the color would be barely visible on Gracie's coat. Thank you PetSmart for such awesome people!!!

The store is good but the prices are expensive starting from the food for the dogs to the clothes to all the accessories there and something very important the people who work there There are people who work there, like the cashiers, they don't have a good attitude, they aren't friendly at all, I don't know, maybe they always have a bad day.

The reason I'm leaving a 1 star rating is because I just left there and there was 10 betta fish just setting there dead and still waiting to be bought seriously what's the point in having a pet store if you're not going to take good care or the animals

Awesome customer service! Will definitely go back and recommend to friends as well! We came looking for a pet stroller and it appeared as if they were sold out. As I was walking around browsing, the associate that had been helping me approached me with a stroller that he'd found in back. It was perfect for my Mabel.

Grooming staff made our furry friends relaxed and pleased with their bath, pedicures and massage. It was a 1st for my puppy who went from scared to comfortable because the groomer made him very happy.

Fran is an excellent trainer. The store manager and staff are helpful with tips from caring for Guinea pigs to care of puppies. We have had good luck so far with the grooming salon as well

The smell in this store was HORRIBLE. It smelled like a massive dog kennel where no one cleans up. Ever. We had to turn right back around and leave. It was disgusting.

I came here after taking my dog to another groomer (the previous groomer barely touched his nails and didn’t shape them at all!). Petsmart welcomed me with kindness and perfectly rounded my dogs nails!! They did this within five minutes and kept him very happy! I absolutely 10/10 recommend this place!! *Picture proof of how happy they kept him!!:)*
