First picture is what he looked like after grooming, and second picture is the reference for how I wanted him done.Tried this place for the first time to get my goldendoodle groomed. We have gotten him groomed at many different places over the last two years and have never had an experience like this one. My husband picked him up and when I saw him I was so upset. We are truly not picky about his grooming, because we know hair grows back, but this haircut was just awful! I showed them a reference photo of a previous haircut to show what I liked. The photos really speak for themselves.What made me extremely upset is that he came home with poop still in his fur around his butt. My dog has extremely tight curls which many goldendoodle owners can understand. So sometimes poop can get stuck in the hair under his tail. It is super hard to see especially when his hair is grown out. They shaved him to his skin so there is no way they missed it while grooming. Never has he ever come home from a full groom with poop in his hair!! It wasn’t even mentioned to my husband when picking him up.Definitely do not recommend this place to anyone

My dogs had the best time here! They are amazing and super sweet you can tell they love animals. I know it’s hard to board your dogs but I will say this place makes it easy! They let me take my dogs stuff into their room and set it up for them. They also sent me texts and updates throughout the weekend! I have one small breed and one medium breed and they let them sleep together and play outside together! Really recommend this place if you’re unsure where to board your dog!

Izzy was a shelter cat and I adopted her in October. Because of this I was a little worried how she would react to being left for a week. When I picked her up, she acted like I'd been gone for an hour instead of a week. The staff said she was very sweet, and I can tell they love these pets. This will be her home when I travel!

We have been boarding our cat Mooshi with Park Your Paws for about a year now. Whenever we go on vacation, weekend getaways, etc we can trust our fur baby with them. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of care they show your pet. The staff is very friendly and communicate so well if anything comes up or even just to check in. Our cat doesn’t show any stress when we go to drop off or pick up. She actually comes back happy, clean, smelling good, all the things. I think she loves her visits!Scheduling is so easy. I’ve had to change a few dates sometimes.. they were super nice about it and helpful. Highly recommend!

I not only manage Park Your Paws I use it as my boarding and grooming facility as well as blue ridge veterinary hospital as my vet. We pride ourselves on the care of the animals that use our facility .We will protect and love them to the best of our ability and make sure we make there experience with us great . My dog is a husky and he’s very temperamental pretty much doesn’t like anyone and Josh Mandy Caylee Caleb Hannah and Haylee take there time and treat him as if he is there own when I’m not there. He’s definitely a hand full and I’m grateful I have my team for the help I need with him. The care they show the animals is heart warming. I’m sure I don’t tell them thank you enough .

Called for grooming, LVM. No call back. Week later I called back. The lady that answered the phone sounded.... simple, to put it lightly. She was not able to answer any basic questions (price and avail), had a long uuuummmmmmmm..... before every statement, told me to call back a week from Thurs to ask the groomer about avail. Meanwhile, every groomer in the area can get me in twice before then, and the folks that answer the phone can answer basic questions without sounding stoned out of their minds.If that's the experience before even booking with them, no thank you!! 0/10, do not recommend.

Wasn't sure how well things would go with my anxious pup for the week especially when separated from my other social butterfly during a family road trip however he's done great and everyone is so kind and loving with the dogs. Cat is an angel , we just love her! ❤️ reasonable pricing on boarding and having animal hospital/ vaccine clinic adjacent is so convenient. Thanks guys!!

I took my baby there and boarded him for five nights. He cane home clean and happy. They sent me a couple of updates through the week and he loved it. I will definitely be using them again for trips and just to get a good bath! Thanks Park Your Paws. I didn’t worry once!

I have a brand new fur baby but Prince had the wildest hair I have ever seen. Don’t ask me why I even bought him. Well, when he turned 5 months old, I took him to Josh. Oh my….now he really looks like a Prince. Truly, I can’t describe the overwhelming difference. I am now so proud of how good looking Josh made him. Thank you Josh.

Josh was amazing with my dog. He was caring and informed and kept me updated of everything that was going on. My dog doesn’t trust people very much. I had to go and sit through the process of a bath, cutting his coat, and blowing out his undercoat before Josh began grooming Sage. Ever since, I have had no issues and Sage has never felt better and has never behaved better around groomers.

Very disappointed. About 2 weeks ago, We came in to tour the facility. We were just doing an overnight to see how our 2 dogs would do as they had not been at a kennel. Everything seemed fine, however, a couple of days after we got them home, they both had kennel cough. They had all their vaccinations. We were very upset and called to see if they were aware of anything going on around there. We actually tried several times, but we never received a call. That was Very upsetting. We will not send our dogs there.

Wonderful boarding facility! Very clean and the staff is so friendly and good with the dogs. The groomer is fantastic and was so patient with my aunts dog who doesn't like to be groomed. They did such a good job. Highly recommended!

this got me in for a family emergency that I had to go out of town for with me giving less than 48 hours notice. they took excellent care of my dog which is a German shepherd mix and he seemed very happy when I picked him up. ALSO THEY GIVE VETERANS A DISCOUNT

I will not be taking my dog back. The only thing I liked abt the place was that they don’t kennel your dog. But my dog was there all day & 2 days after being there my dog had a bad cough. The fact that my dog doesn’t leave our property except to the vet & grooming tells me he caught it from there. Now we are treating all our dogs & an expensive vet bill as well. The girl had used scissors to cut our dog & did a very poor job. Don’t recommend at all!!

Overall pleasant and affordable experience boarding my 2 cats. My only complaint is they were unusually thirsty when they got home. I noticed a previous reviewer had mentioned this as well. I would likely board them there again.

Groomer Josh did an excellent job with our long haired sheltie mix. We just added a Great Pyrenees to our dog family and Josh worked him in to get him cleaned up and take care of his painfully overgrown toenails. Josh sends pictures and keeps us informed. We trust that our dogs are loved on and well cared for with Josh and everyone at the kennel.

I was super nervous about boarding my anxious needy dog while on vacation. He had a great time!! The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel at ease leaving him. Will definitely recommend and use PYP for future boarding needs!

We used the daycare service today and was so pleased with the staff and how well they did with our dog. Sadie is a bit timid with other dogs but they took their time and made sure she was comfortable.

The first time we boarded our dog, she was a puppy and we had no complaints. The second time, however, was not good. When we picked her up, she was so anxious she just paced and urinated as soon as she saw us. When we were given her food container back, there was just as much food as what we sent with her—so clearly she wouldn’t eat while there. Not to mention she had a bad cough for 2 weeks once we got home. Will not take her back.
