What a great grocery store. Perfectly stocked, clean and has a great variety of things I use every day. They have an enormous selection of cheeses, meats and bakery items. I have personally taken advantage of their hot deli several times as well as the salad and soup bar. It's hard to help not notice how well they keep things clean and organized on every aisle. The self checkout was quick and easy for an in and out shopping experience. I almost forgot, their produce section is unbelievable. It reminds me of some of the farm stands I went to when I was young where the best part of the harvest was laid out for display. If you've never been here, I urge you to do a walkthrough someday and I'm sure you will agree with everything I have said.

Everything about this grocery store is amazing. Deli is stocked with high-quality meats and cheeses. Bakery is great. Meat selection is great too. You may pay a bit more here. But the quality is generally worth it. I have tried to include prices in most of my pictures and videos. We will definitely continue to shop here.

I hate Ingles....this use to be my favorite super market. But since they put in those self check outs and you cant get money back anymore. I hate going in there. The checkers up front aren't very polite either. They use to have several nice ladies who worked there. Not anymore there are only two ladies that are nice . The others act like they don't want to be there.

This grocery store is massive. I could barely see from one side to the other. There was so much inside. It's been a long time since I've been to this store and it's really improved a lot. I would have to say it's better than Kroger and Publix combined. It would be nice if they had another one closer in to the downtown ish area

Worst establishment EVER!! General Manager is rude, judgmental, and harasses customers for no reason at all!! Stay away from this location!!! Go to the Boones Creek store, it’s amazing compared to the Colonial Heights location

A friend and I were doing shopping in the store. When we got to the checkout the we had a couple of boxes of the miniature pies. One had a price on it and the other a sticker that said 2 for 7.00. It didn’t ring up that way so the cashier called the manager on duty who happened to be Josh Williamson the store manager. He looked at the boxes and said “you found these this way?” Which we did. He then went on to explain that it was a vendor stock item and that ingles doesn’t mark down the items. So his implication was that he we had brought in stickers and placed on the box.Will never shop here again. Also had all of my medications transferred out of their pharmacy.

**EDITED**While I still think the deli super slow and that needs to change, I'm changing my rating because of your employee Donna. She was working as the cashier this afternoon and I have sick kids at home, she took the time to genuinely speak gently and kindly to me. She was so sweet and made sure I knew about one of the specials they had going on. She made the move here worth it. People like her are what America needs right now. ✅️Not happy with the deli, it takes entirely too long to get meat sliced and tonight at 7pm, they already cleaned the machines and couldn't possibly cut anymore because they were shutting down early, even though the store doesn't shut down until 11pm... whatever. It's always something, which is so sad because if the people tried harder it could be a great store.

The staff can be rude when understaffed. At least 8/10 visits have provided me with an expired product so I now have to review each expiration date before purchase. When brought to the attention of the staff, there didn't seem to be an urgency to remove the product from the shelf. Seems like the stocking staff should be reviewing that while restocking.

I work in Johnson City on Tues and I always make a point to stop in Ingles since I do not have one close to my house. They always have the best deals on meat. I highly recommend the steak. It is always fresh. Also, if you need lunch ideas they have a great salad bar and lots of healthy options.

Store is clean and easily accessible. Prices are comparable to other grocery stores in the area. Plus, they have a very large salad bar along with olive and hot bar.

My Uncle Hal and I shop their all the time it's are most favorite store to shop at not because we live 5 minutes away from the store, it's because of the worker's they are very friendly & hard working people. I highly recommend this store they always have good deal's going on and they made a beautiful cake for Christ our savior's birthday thank u so much the cake was beautiful. Very good white cornbread already made! Love it! There is one thing about them that I don't like. I couldn't find my card and my phone number was not in the system according to the cashier it doesn't work for state to state. I can understand that, however I wasn't even offered a new application,nor courtesy scan. This has happened several times,wish they would resolve those kind of issues. I do like their stores

Seems like I'm in this store every day and they've got their A game on every single time. The nicest staff, cleanest store and the best selection of great products in town. Be sure to try their store-made breakfast sausage. You'll be glad you did.

Ordered 5 food trays for Christmas holiday. They were absolutely perfect! We fed 15 people over the course of the whole day! Well done to everyone in the Deli you made our holiday even more enjoyable!!!

Love the grocery store EXCEPT the deli is terrible. The attitudes, the way they cut the meat, the whole experience with the deli is terrible.Today they decided to clean up 30 min early... glad I called before leaving and asked how long the deli would be open for.Real talk, I highly suggest everyone who works at the deli to take a trip to Johnson City and go to publix. Publix knows how to treat customers. Goes out of their way to be sure YOU (the customer) are satisfied. They even cut the meat in front of you and be sure the thickness is what you want.

The deli manager was very unpleasant .... I wanted a sub, and while a sweet little lady worked the sub bar for another customer, the manager stood and ignored me, while talking to the customer like they were friends or something. I waited for pert near 10 minutes... She was still talking. I saw she was the manager from her name tag. I think her name was Melissa... She didn't even acknowledge me.

Ingles are hard to beat. This one has a pharmacy with VERY helpful and friedly employees. Great deli. Great bakery. Starbucks. The meat selection/meat department could use some help.
