It is a huge store however, you aren’t going to save money. Even their discounts are above average. Do yourself a huge favor and shop at Kroger! Go to the Sunset Dr Kroger and shop. I bet you will bring home much more groceries and save some money too!

Great deals in the meat and produce department. Florist is very kind took a special order for me and was able to fulfill it. Shelves are mostly stocked. Hardly have to ask for anything from the back stock.

It is definitely a Food City. The prices are kinda high, but that's everywhere anymore. I appreciate their large selection of apples. I don't interact with the staff much, but they've always been friendly.

This store is always clean and has well placed items that peak my interest and curiousity. My twins picked out their bday cake there and the gentleman who added their names did a great job!

Out of every food city I've been too there adult luncheables from the deli are so skimpy. Cheese and chicken salad only filled half way. That's probably why so many were not purchased. That's my go to lunch but they must be hurting for money because they are way to light handed on the ingredients

Good help is hard to find but great customer service is rare to find these days. Sandy who works up front is one the best reasons to shop here. She is always smiling and is keeping the store clean. The butchers are all top notch when it comes to customer service.

It's pretty much my go-to store on a regular basis. Plus it's so close to where I live, I could walk there in about 15 minutes. Also, they have an exceptional deli with the best comfort food.

Food City is so cool! Attendants extremely nice and courteous. You can find a variety of your grocery needs here, no doubt. I go there again, and again.

The computer couldn't read my check and the manager couldn't tell me why. One would think the solution to that problem would be having me fill out my check by hand. That wasn't an option. I had to leave my cart full of bagged groceries behind. When I got home, I realized he didn't give me my check back. I called and told the man who answered what had happened and told him it needed to be shredded. If any money comes out of my account, we're going to have a big problem. 8/29/2023.

Have you noticed their meat only says certified Angus? Not prime, choice or select. The reason why because it's just Angus select meat bottom grade.

Half my groceries have went bad except my frozen meats and fruits thankfully, all my produce went limp after not even a week 😅 also my bread I got on the “ manager special “ bought on 02/07

Food City has it going on. They're great at keeping the shelves stocked the store clean & the staff is always kind friendly and professional. They are open till 11 pm which is a plus. And usually anything & everything you need is right there. Bakery great Deli great.. especially the chicken salad. Produce great. Meat dept. Great.. but a little higher in price Overall Food City gets 5 stars from me cuz I think they've earned it. Definitely recommend.

Went in to cash in my change into a coin changer and apparently managers have to approve it now for you to get a slip. The front end manager april came over to help us and was very rude. she got her hands dirty and started showing her self due to the machine. The machine was already dirty before I used it I had no batteries or screws in my change. I always go through mine before I bring it in an count it prior because I dont trust a machine. she was like now i gotta go wash my hands in a rude way and also u have screws an batteries in your change i did not. went up to the customer service and had to deal with lisa and she was no better very bad attitude you need to make sure your change and stuff is clean before bringing it to our machines real snappy. Now she has to take time out of what she was already trying to do prior to you an go wash her hands. I said I will not be back in this store. I will leave a bad review and call corporate and make sure my family and all my friends know how bad the management is here and how they let their employees talk to people. very very unprofessional.

Stopped shopping at this particular Food City (South Roan) due to lack of deli options, Shelves not stocked well. Do not expect to have ready to go deli options before 11am or later. The Food City on State of Franklin are always well stocked on pretty much anything. Salad bar is ready by 8am or earlier along with other deli selections.

One cashier scanning Groceries Then it looked like a front end manager came and said I’ll take the next customer. 55 years old and bold, scanning my groceries and slinging them, even busted my milk, and I was bagging my own groceries. Didn’t wait for me to finished bagging my groceries and didn’t even help, and he goes and starts scanning groceries for the next person in line and I’m still bagging my groceries!!! I mean Really? You busted my milk then don’t even help me bag the rest, you just start ringing up the next customer!! I mean it was like he never rung up groceries before!! December 15 at 11:45am to around 12:00

I love how every Food city I go into has the same layout. I love being able to simply walk in and know where to go. The staff are super friendly. It was over all pretty clean and the carts gathers tend to keep the carts gathered in side and clean. The prices are higher then walmart but you will not experience the same atmosphere there.

At check out, you do not have to load a belt and bag your own groceries. It is like old times when we did not have to work a register for free.Inflation is ridiculous, and the price of the steak is indicative of prices at other grocery stores with the same quality of steak

Food City is a good supermarket and it is well stocked and they carry several items that many other stores may not carry. I mainly bought meat because they do have quality meat. I found several things there that I had not seen at other stores. I believe their seafood is somewhat expensive but what isn't these days. Food City also sponsors many events and activities in our area. And they have high quality foods, as well as local produce when it is in season.Also great place to check on reduced meat prices
