We went in there to look for some steaks and a few other things. The meat department people went out of their way to help us. So nice and helpful. Cashiers were so nice and helpful also. Thank you food city for your great employees.

It’s a beautiful store with very nice employees. However, I have been overcharged for sale items advertised with a yellow sign at least twice now. Their cashiers are always very gracious and make the correction If I happen to notice it. Small amounts but it adds up.

Love my store in Johnson City. Tennessee. If you need something in bulk they will order it for you. Every employee is super nice and helpful. Store is extremely clean witheverything fresh from seafood to produce dairy to meat

Recently started going here after we kind of gave up on our local Kroger at sunset. The store has way better variety and decent prices and is a lot cleaner which is a big plus in my book for grocery store. It's not fresh market but also it doesn't cost as much as fresh market.

Big fan of the deli! So sick of most restaurants; I'd rather get a meal at the deli and take it home. Meat loaf and fried chicken are my favorites.

AVOID THIS LOCATION!!! The ridiculously high prices are bad enough(but hey-they bought an inventory robot with our money) but upon checking out tonight there was a problem. The cashier was unable to fix the problem so he paged his manager-3 times. 10 min later the manager finally showed up and informed myself and the cashier that he “didnt know refunds” but he offered to get someone for me if I wanted to wait even longer. There were numerous people having issues at the self-checkout as well. This store is badly run and has absolutely no one in charge that can actually take care of issues when they arise-AVOID THIS FOOD CITY AT ALL COSTS! Absolutely horrible shopping experience.

If you are looking for a fair priced good portion breakfast don’t go to this store. The one in gray offers a larger portion for a lower price.

I like to shop at Food City but I wish they would stop the Friday Saturday sales. Just make it to where people can shop all week for the deals.

Do not get the Emperor's Plate combo. Most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. It looked good when I saw it. I was actually annoyed they skimped me on the chicken but they actually did me a favor since it wasn't even edible. Noodles we're mush and the green beans were covered in some sauce not just steamed. Just go over to Panda Express since it's in the same parking lot. It's cheaper and delicious.

My shopping experience is always great. Well laid out, great selections in all departments. The floral design department is top notch. Great management. Love the Johnson City location. Always has exactly what I wanted to purchase. Clean, well lit, always staff around if you want help, and nice cashiers.

Best grocery store in the area, for sure. Great selection, great produce department! Nothing has changed, but they often have great sales! Especially when they run their 5 for $5 weekend on select vegetables and 5 for $15 on select meats and cheeses!

I went there to buy bbq tonight. I noticed it had two labels. I pulled up the top one and the one under it was expired yesterday but they had relabeled it with a later date. I let someone know. I will no longer be shopping there.

Came to this Food City cause it was on my route. This is a flagship store for Food City unlike the Piney Flats & Blountville locations. The store is nice and clean while easy to move around. There is an upstairs mezzanine where you can get a meal at the deli and sit while watching a TV there. You can also just go to the small dining area near the deli. The upstairs also has meetings rooms if you need that for a group. There is a Starbucks inside too. The store appeared to be well stocked and the self checkout was easy to use. In the parking lot area is a Pal’s, Petro’s, a car wash & oil changing place as well as other business locations. It is easy in and out with lights to help with traffic.
