This location needs to be shut down for extreme deep cleaning. How can you remodel the front of the store when those floors alone haven’t been mopped in years. Don’t let the employees or manager pacifically know there’s out of date merchandise on the shelf. She’ll quickly put the blame on the vendors, all while refusing to give her name. Trash can upfront at door entrance completely full up top, weird smell, no greeting, just mean mugs. Overall management don’t care or value the store to make it look decent. Not getting my money, especially with damage entrance door, handicap customers have trouble getting in I can imagine.

If I could leave leaa than 1 star I definitely would. The staff never stocks. Half the time they act like it's an inconvenience to check you out. When I was there today it took forever for the guy to come in from smoking to check me out. When he finally did he started talking to some guy and forgot to give me my change. When he did give me my change he shorted me. Horribly unprofessional employees, nasty store, no stock for a few years now. The only reason I even go is because it's so close, but I end up having to go to another store almost every time anyway because they don't stock.

It was a basic dollar general. They had a good selection of items. Even a couple sales I wasn't expecting to purchase in this trip. The check out line was a bit longer than usual but the cashier was very polite and apologized for the wait. I appreciated him taking the time out to acknowledge the longer wait than usual.

Don't waste your time going there! They close way earlier than it's supposed to and most of the time everything on the shelf is empty anyway. The store is a joke. If the big guy with a big beard is working that day you best believe they are closing early but he'll be outside smoking a cigarette to tell you they closed early. 'He's lazy' pretty much sums it up.

This store had been a nightmare for years and years. Due to being poorly run and local thiefs, this was one of the worst stores in history. Dirty baskets that you couldn't even use because of the layers of dirt. Thankfully there is a new manager who has turned this nightmare into a normal store. Cleaning it up and getting those baskets clean.You can tell that he has put his soul into turning this store around. Thankful for his management efforts. Bravo sir!

If you have a paying customer BUYING from your store they should be able to use your restroom. Rude cashier, was outside smoking with people inside the store shopping. Great way to promote shoplifting if not one employee is in the store watching it.

It was quick place to stop and get last minute items you may need before eff morning. It could have made sure the shelves where better stocked. Looked like they had a going out of business clearance. Out of lot of everyday items

Two of the sweetest, most helpful employees, store had all three items i went in for at affordable prices. The merchandise was very disorganized but with the help of an employee i gathered my items and was out the door in no time. Very convenient location.

The shelves are always pretty empty not recovered well ever. the casheir was outside visiting with people while customers were waiting at the counter to check out. I hope someone actually reads the reviews. This store needs special attention to stock the shelves and get people out instead waiting for the cashier to finish there grab session outside. I have to add I was exposed to a employee with Covid and nothing was done like cleaning sanitizing , and not warning the public that they may have been exposed to Covid. So they could be tested.

Worst dollar General I think I’ve ever been in! I was shocked to see barely any stock on the shelves at all it looked like it was 5 years into the zombie apocalypse. Had to use the restroom and it was nasty and smelled badly but on the other hand I found where all of the freight was stashed. Everything was in the back still in uboats. Total disappointment! I wouldn’t give it one star if possible!

It was a good store, however it is a little cramped and there is not really a good selection due to the small size. The people are friendly and do their job. However, the store does need almost around the clock cleaning, as people will throw things on the ground or just simply let it fall.

I truly feel sorry for the staff. The majority of customers at this location are terrible people. Stolen merchandise packaging litters the aises. Checking out is always fun, someone is always complaining that the shelf said it was twelve cents cheaper. Lord, if you want a taste of downtown Detroit come grab a few things at the North Roan dollar general.

It was good except the person in line in front of me must've known the person checking him.pit because they kept talking and holding up the checkout line. Thankfully another worker came up and opened the other register and I was able to check out.

This Dollar General gets a bad rep because of where it is located, the staff are always so nice and are very eager to help you get what you came for.However the stock lacks but there isn't enough employees to stock

This particular location is good, but I have noticed that a lot of times, the shelves are bare. Not sure if it is a coincidence of my visits or what. The staff are pretty friendly.

I went in this time for a half gallon of Mayfield milk & came out also with a bargain I found on their clearance table. I thought this Febreeze One Bamboo refill for my sprayer had been placed there by mistake, so I checked with the store manager & was surprised to find it had been taken out of regular stock & was reduced. Then it was put on the clearance table for 50% off. A $5 item only cost me a $1.80!!! Too bad there was only one or I would've scooped them all!! I love the bamboo scent. It's the only scent I use in my Febreeze plug ins & I use their air/clothing freshner.

Unfriendly employees... but still like shopping at the DG.... was looking for a certain item and the lady didnt even try to help.... just said if its not in a certain area they didnt have it.... but then we was looking for something else on the other side of the store and found what we was actually there for!! Employees dont care about customers at all!!!!

Store very cluttered. No restroom. Recently moved here from Florida. Florida stores clean and with restrooms. Only thing is the cashier there very friendly and courteous.

They need more help in store. Nothing was stocked. Bathroom never available for use. I guess they wear diapers while working.
