I hadn't been in Johnson City Big lots in a very long time. We have one in Kingsport and I really don't go there. But the other day I had a few extra minutes and I went in Johnson city's Big lots and it is so much nicer in there they have a lot of nice things and the employees were al lso nice. Everyone would talk to you as you went by and that says a lot or a store I haven't seen that in a long time. I enjoyed my visit there.

Since moving here I have gone to this Big Lots several times. They always have great finds, stocked shelves and friendly staff. I have to say other locations do not get the “friendly” status from me. My kiddos love shopping here, they act like we are in the biggest adventure!

Decent store clean well stocked but only 2 stars because of rude and unorganized employee. I went in on a Sunday after receiving several email to buy some stuff and get my free sanitary wipes only to be told they weren't aware of the promotion. No sorry no apology even after I showed the email she was matter of fact and said I don't know anything about it. I mean really why send me 3 emails to remind me and then refuse to give the product. If they need customers so bad they have to deceive them with fake give aways ill take my business somewhere else. I'm sure they don't care since they don't bother to follow through with their promotions.

The store doesn't look like much but they have some CRAZY good deals. My mother got a new $800 bed and frame for only $600. Plus they have some clothes food couches and all are for a really good deal. Plus the staff (At least the ones I met) are really friendly. Well definitely be going back. Plus my mom is addicted to the store now lol.

It was great cashier was super nice and helpful. The item I return didn't have a tag on it and she helped me find one that did and then she return money and then she helped my sister sign up for their rewards. All n all very nice visit.

Big Lots has basically turned into more like a furniture store but it also has basic house needs like rugs, bedding sheets, comforters, pillows and the like...it does have gaming systems, headphones & things like that..they have food items, drinks, camping gear, lounging chairs. I think they have a few clothing items (not too sure about this tho). They offer sign up for rewards cards too but big lots isn't what they used to be & most of their prices are just ridiculous. If you're interested in any of these things & don't care to pay their prices, i guess this is the store for you.

I LOVE this Big Lots. They have the nicest women and men working here. I have never once had any issue and actually enjoying shopping here, other than the occassional missing price tag. These employees all desevere a raise. They make you feel like family, which is so rare in the times we live in.

LOVE This place. Always find something ! The Cashier's ALWAYS say " Hello " , when we enter .... VERY Friendly - - now..... they may be trained.... that way , but it always seems to really be from the 💓💕❤️ . Like shopping for the Holidays here & really love their " after " - sales & the special sales offered through Rewards promotions.

To each their own, but this place just isn't my wife and I cup of tea. Most items were borderline junk and what wasn't was over priced. The store could use a good cleaning and reorganizing, plus it won't hurt for the employees to have a better attitude.

Advertised 20% off in signs everywhere, but only in tiny print that you cannot possibly read from the road does it say you have to sign up for their rewards program to get the discount. Some exclusions and restrictions are expected, but this is way too big to hide in fine print

I'll probably never go back into this store the last time I went there to buy some stuff I spent almost $60 the cashier was so rude I bought two cushions for my couch one of them had a spot on it that I didn't see until after she was putting it in the bag she just told me to put it back over there and get another one why would you put something back on a shelf like that and she was just hateful and rude to me.

Bought a nice TV stand on 12/12/2020 and had excellent customer service from Robert in houseware. He was accommodating and helped get it into our vehicle with minimal difficulty. He did a great job.
