The store has a lot of good discounted things. But when you go to check out the prices are very rarely the same. There are multiple price tags on the same items throughout the store. Went to buy 75% off Christmas merchandise, and it's only took off .75 cents. Would prob still shop here, but not very often if you don't know the exact price on items.

Good place for food item & drinks plus items in sale got cereal ,chips that taste like Ribs & 🥩 Steak, Popcorn taste like cheez-it just have to go to see for yourself. They have clothes, shoes, pet items 🐕 & 🐈,Beauty , Baby stuff, kids toys, Household cleaning supplies & all kinds of kitchen items

Some cool stuff some stuff you would never but man it's cheap so let's buy it anyways! If you like Ollie's, Bargain hunt is the same type of store but with a huge clothing section. We got some good deals the other day.

Interesting place. Big space with a lot of odds and ends. Imagine a place like TJ Maxx but not fancy.Some things are cheap, some seem overpriced. I think it changes frequently.

You don't really have to hunt for deals. The prices are okay on their own. The store is clean, organized, and the service is good. Great variety of items. If you are shopping for gifts I would 100% recommend. It is a great store to stroll and browse for something unique.

This is my favorite store. You can find super discounts or pricey items. Some items are over priced for my taste. Not a bargain. Great selections of bathroom attire & bedding.

The parking lot is ample. The store was clean & cool. They have a good variety of products & really good prices. I appreciate their 30 day return policy. The only negative I found was the lack of a changing room. I usually buy a few sizes of the same thing, take them home to try on & return all the ones that don't fit. It's somewhat inconvenient & I'm sure the staff doesn't love it, but there's no other way without a changing room onsite. I visit the store any time I'm in the area & have introduced several friends to Bargain Hunt. It's one of my favorites.

I like this place. Seems you can find a lot of things for cheaper than most places. I went in looking for a cooking pan. I found a nice one cheap. They have a "Bin Sell" where everything in the big bins up front are $5. However, they did have a mess on the back wall, with no organization. The people working there were very friendly and nice.

I truly expected more. I saw things higher than Walmart prices such as a sun dress for 26.00. Food prices were about the same as dollar store. The bargain bins were just broken items and empty boxes/packaging's.I will say staff was extremely friendly. Cheery welcoming faces all ready to help if needed. Loved them

First time shopper at Bargain Hunters in Johnson City. There is a vast amount of grocery items to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised at the name brand items at very reasonable prices. You can also browse through racks of clothing and shoes for kids and adults. You can browse through household supplies and pet goods. They also have a section of furniture and other house supplies. The only negative - not a game changer - is not many employees to help with your shopping.

Love the one in JC Tennessee, I always say I'm not gonna spend much an I always come out with a car full. Great finds. Name brand diapers are cheaper there than anywhere.

This store used to be great. I started shopping here a couple years ago when they had their dates discount system and I was able to find countless items for great prices. Since they went away with the dates everything is just flat out overpriced. I still go in regularly in hopes I can find great deals again. A week ago I went in and saw an item that caught my eye. It was priced at $6, which was a really good price. However, I decided not to purchase that day. Three or four days later I was in again and noticed a yellow sticker on the item, (yellow stickers mean the item has been discounted) but when I looked closer this new sticker said $9 and that it had been discontinued by 25%. This is just beyond irritating.The only great thing about the store is the staff. They all seem wonderful and polite every time I go in there. They seem to not care too much about the prices, because if there is an item missing a tag they'll usually give a really good price for it.Hopefully one day they will go back to their date discount system and be worth 5 stars again.Update: I have continued to shop there since I wrote the above and the pricing is a bit better and I’ve been able to find some good bargains, I just really had to hunt for them. The clothing is absolutely unorganized and just a huge overwhelming mess to go through. Overall though it still is not as great as it was when they used the date system.

Very similar to Big Lots. Sometimes you can find some really good deals here. They always have good deals on dry goods and canned foods. If you are patient enough, you can really save money on high quality items. I bought a $300 Ninja Coffee Station here a couple of years ago for $75. Nothing wrong with it, probably a return, but had never been opened.

I love shopping here. However the last two times I have went have not been good experiences. I had a cashier act extremely rude to me because there wasn’t a tag on the item. I even said “I’m sorry I looked for another one and couldn’t find it”. He slammed it down and rolled his eyes. It was very uncomfortable. Then the next time I went the buggy’s are so crammed together not one would come out, I finally got one out and it was so tied up with strings that it wouldn’t push. So I got another one to come out and it was the same way. I tried yet again to get another buggy and couldn’t pull them apart. I walked out and left.

Had never been in one, great staff, great selection of items and some hard to find it discontinued items. But the reason of this review is one of the employees that exceeded my expectations, especially with the Covid-19, Allison Mills is very professional and great with people. Will definitely be back. Thanks Allison you were a great help!!

Dig around a bit. You never know what you might find. Lots of great deals are available for a fraction of the retail price.
