Came here for a snack while visiting Beaman Park. They have some cool things to buy and discover.I had never heart of chestnut mushrooms, but they had some that were locally grown. I sautéed them that night and they were delicious.They also have a great selection of meat and even better deals on that meat. Check out their 5 for 22.95 (might be a few cents off) section! It's mix and match and such a good deal!

This store is a little off the beaten path for me. But I go there from time to time for hard-to-find items like frozen shoe peg corn and some fresh meats. The store is always neat with items well-placed and the staff is always kind and helpful.

I frequent Nashville alot, I always go the back way to avoid traffic and to have a more peaceful ride.Last week I said I'm going to stop here versus,my regular store on the way back to Clarksville.This is NOW my store for all and I mean ALL SHOPPING NEEDS!I was so impressed by the meat departments, they have 10 pound boxes of meat, I haven't seen that since I was a teenager!The isles are neat, produce is awesome too!The staff is friendly and helpful!!Tony,you have my business for life!I will no longer shop at the "chain stores". The cashier told me if there are items I need to put in a request and he will make it happen.They also have their own seasoning blend that they make in house. They also have a fully stocked meat department I can't say enough about the meat department it's very rare nowadays to find the quality of meat that they carry. For my understanding with speaking to a cashier they cut their own meat they package their own meat which is very rare nowadays.Oh and for you beer lovers they have a beer cave of a variety of every kind of beer you could think of!The other thing I really like is the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed nobody's pushing or shoving to get what they need in the store doesn't matter fact when I went into the store it was less than 20 people I was able to get in and out without feeling like someone was going to hit my ankles with a shopping cart.They also have a hot deli area I didn't visit it on this trip but I plan on making your trip today and I'll visit it to see what all items they have if you're shopping at other stores you're definitely missing out try Tony's you will definitely be happier.

I've gotten their special package deal in the meat section a few times. The smoked pork chops were slimy every time. I complained twice. No more! High prices and limited selection. I only come here for quick trips now and stick to milk, eggs, etc

One of THE BEST grocery stores to shop in EVER! Tony’s is a Christian owned store by one of the sweetest family’s in Joelton, TN!! With a wonderful and most helpful and friendly staff!! AND - not only do they have the BEST MEAT PRICES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE - but also THE FRESHEST MEAT as well!! Tony’s also specializes in having items in their store that most other stores do not carry!!THEY ARE DEFINITELY - AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE AND LIKE NO OTHER!So - if you would like that GOOD OLD DAYS experience - - You stop by Tony’s Foodland in Joelton, TN! It's a good place to shop. Lots of choices. Prices are kind of high, but that's true with everything right now. His business has been around for my whole life. That in itself should say something about the practice.

On the day my fiance planned to propose to me, he had no idea how to disguise the ring prior to popping the question at dinner. So on his way to pick me up, he bumped into this hidden gem so he stopped and went inside. He expressed to the staff what his plans were and that he had no idea how to disguise it in a unique way. The staff jumped in all excited to help him and came up with an amazing idea of hiding the ring in a candy cane filled with kiss chocolate. They decorated it and sent him on his way. He brought me back to the scene to introduce me to the awesome people who helped him. The staff here are all so amazing.This is a memory we both will not forget. Thank you to your amazing team!!!

I live in Hendersonville and frequently visit my in-laws in Joelton. I look forward to shopping at Tony's during each visit. Great selections, great deli and very good customer service. Lot of small town hospitality as well.

I love this place. The store is more than just groceries. They have a great plate lunch bar, with fresh cooked meals. And the people that work here treat you like they know you. I recommend this place as a goto. Tony did great building this establishment.

I have almost always shopped here. Today was the first time your worker was rude to me. She didn't give me my receipt, didn't even say hi to me or talk to me, and then scoffed when I asked her to double bag my two heavy drinks.It would have been different had she not been so chatty and friendly to the people in front of me.I have shopped here for 15 years. I love this place and it being a smaller business. But Jesus, this is my first and only bad experience.When I called back, yet again, she would not give her name and said that she was pretty sure she gave me it. Then since someone checked out after me, I cant get it now because it's voided. No you did not.

The owner's kid stopped me while I was going to the back to use the bathroom. Thought I was shopplifting but I didn't even have anything. Very disrespectful, and this kid is supposed to take over the store? 35 years of business down the drain.

It's OK. I guess the days of little markets like this being the go-to place for meat deals are gone. But their box of cinnamon rolls were the absolute best I've ever had. Sinfully good! Steaks I bought were delish. People are nice.

GREAT deals on their meats, especially the monthly "truck sale" they have. Their bacon is actually the best bacon I've EVER had. The Ribeye steaks are awesome!! Shop local and support local farmers and help keep our local economy strong.

Nice, clean, and conveniently well- stocked local grocery store that has a reasonably priced hot deli that serves daily breakfast / lunch specials and I also believe that they even butcher their own meat, as well. Although I honestly feel like the overall cost of their housebrand (FoodClub) items are priced a bit high, in comparison to the brand name competitors, they do make up for it in their weekly sales ads with storewide savings, discounted deals, and their occasional 10lb Meat Sales...

This place is fantastic for shopping and customer service. I have one comment and it is on the cooked food. I had to discard the food to the trash and buy somewhere else. It tasted like old can food.And I know what I'm talking about, because my palate has a good taste for food, and don't judge me judge your food . No pictures I threw it out.This is not saying anything against the store or people just your choice of where the food is prepared from.

Check the expiration date before you purchase. I bought cottage cheese 5/4 from here and when I opened it the next day to eat it smelled funky. It expired 4/24 🤮 more than a week expired still on the shelves.

Tony's is a nice store. Very clean and well laid out. I gave it 4 stars because they are high. Expect to pay double on alot of the items you will find at Walmart. But it's a trade off when you're going for convenience.
