Truly the best Veterinary hospital in the area! cannot say enough good things about Lakeway! We started bringing our fur babies here starting with our dog Xena, who unfortunately had to have her eye removed. They took such great care of her the entire time and as well as us! Answered all of the questions that we had and then some. The entire staff treated her as if she was their own. We then again came back with our cat Lola who passed away suddenly. They again treated us amazingly, and had her ready to be picked up the following day, with her paw prints and ashes. The staff even sent us a letter with their regards. They are truly amazing 💛

They all were so kind and caring for my little old pup. We had an emergency and he needed to be seen right away, they squeezed him and they were wonderful. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a vet who cares.. Dr. Kaitlyn is the best!!

I took my fur baby Macy Mae to the vet yesterday. They were great with her. She got all her shots and other things she needed. I don't have anything bad to say. Everyone one was super friendly and the vet was very thorough and answered all my question. The only thing that I didn't like was their prices. They were quite a bit higher than I expected but my Macy Mae's has her needs taken care of.

I always had a great experience with taking my dog and cat there. The vet and staff were always wonderful. However, I just called to make an appointment for my cat's annual. It now costs $209(!!) JUST for the exam. It use to be nowhere near this. I had heard that the office was bought out by some company. Wasn't sure, but it appears that's the case, and they apparently thought it was "necessary" to jack up the prices that much. Needless to say, I'm taking the pets to another vet now. 5 stars for the past service, minus another 3 for the ridiculous pricing now.

Staff was friendly! The lady that took care of my cat was seriously the best vet I’ve ever been to! She cared so much about my animal! I’ll definitely never go to another vet other than here!

Dr Sanford is the best. Very helpful and always ready to answer questions when I have them. Very supportive of the treatment we chose for our Yorkie that was in kidney failure. She is on the mends and doing better. The Vet techs and front counter girls are very helpful and friendly.

Was my first time to visit was sent for dental cleaning for my golden retriever. This would be his third in life time and cost was triple of last and double for mine. 800 to 1600 dollars was estaminet. My cleaning is about 200 what the @#$## We love our animals but funding a new building is done with sweat and tears not greed.Hear your response just as I stated greed. Do you really love your your dollars more.....I know the answer is yes. Will take my family elsewhere.

We had one of our cats spayed at a clinic, and afterwards she wouldn't eat or drink for 2 days. Called Lakeway the minute they opened and they got her I'm right away, even with us being a new client. Dr Yokley and the assistant were both amazing to us and our Luna! They both listened and explained things very well, made sure we were comfortable with her treatment, and showed our baby such loving care. 10/10 definitely recommend, and we will be back!

I was in a bit of a bind. Found a stray kitten. Needed attention. Lakeway gave me a price over the phone that I felt I could afford. Not once, never was I ever told that being spayed would cost up to $600. I was floored at that amount. Gouging is more the word I'm looking for I think. The staff was very nice that's not my complaint, I was never told up front but a full service three month old kitten fee would be. I have since canceled Lakeway. Seems to me with all the stray cats and dogs that the price to curb that would be a lot less. Just saying

We just moved to the area with our two dogs. Took them both in for their first visit and were truly shocked by the incredibly inflated pricing at this vet.This was a standard annual visit for vaccines on two dogs. One of the dogs is of senior age and they recommend a blood panel.Total charges for the visit were over $800.Their previous vet in Knoxville would have been less than half the price, which left us confused and bewildered. This place is charging very high rates for drugs and processing. We will not be taking our animals back to this location.$110 to schedule an appt for being a new patient w/ two dogs.(We had to pay this as a deposit prior to the appt. It was refunded after the first visit was paid in full.)$213 for a senior blood panel. (WHOA!)$55/ea exam visit, $110 total just to get in the room.$304 for vaccines on each dog, ~$600 total. (WHOA!)Names and personal info removed from photo of receipt copy.(See attached once google approves the image.)While the staff were pleasant enough, I cannot recommend this business unless money is of no object to you. There are VASTLY cheaper options in the area with staff that are just as passionate and pleasant.TL;DR Shop around or at least ask for a full itemized quote before using this location.EDIT: The "much confusion" the business owner is referring to in their platitude-filled response is trying to downplay the deposit that was refunded on the visit's receipt. While it is important to make that distinction, and I will go back and edit the original post to reflect this, this does not change the fact we were still charged that hefty fee prior to ever setting foot in the door.

Incredibly nice staff, everyone loves animals. My Labrador became sick, and I took her here and 600.00 later, x-rays blood work was done she came home with stomach meds and antibiotics. Corporate America has gone crazy with its increased pricing.Would I go back, of course just be prepared for the cost.

My babies have been going here for years now. They are very friendly,professional, and affordable. I don't feel rushed out the door if I have questions they're always there to answer them and I've never have any issues overall The best place to take your babies.

I'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to Dr. Sanford and staff. We were on vacation from Ohio in the area last month and our Sheltie, Zoey, became very sick.Your wonderful clinic was able to schedule her immediately, and we were given excellent and compassionate care. When we got home, we saw our vet and he was able to use the bloodwork and uultrasound Dr. Sanford used for a diagnosis.Zoey has since had surgery for that lipoma and the infection and seems to be doing well.Again, thank you and God Bless you. And congratulations on your move to your new clinic.

First time using this vet clinic, as I'm new to the area. She was just there for a routine visit and vaccinations. My dog, Iris, is a pitbull/boxer mix w/ anxiety and is dog selective and dog aggressive. They allowed me to keep her in my car till it was time to go back. She did not need muzzled and they allowed me to assist. I do have experience with animals so I am able to handle her. She did well and actually seemed to relax for the vet. It was overall a good experience for us both!

We picked up our sweet puppy from her breeder and found out she had not had her puppy shots. She was a bit skinny with a big bell. She was covered in yuck and smelt terrible. Not what you would expect from a breeder. Naturally we panicked!I called Lakeway, and they were able to fit her in same day. They tested and treated her for worms, gave her an exam, gave her first round of vaccines, and sent us home with samples for flea and tick. 4 days later, puppy is doing so much better, and is gaining some chunk on her ribs. Thank you Lakeway for taking such great care of our fur baby! We entered your animal hospital worried for our sweet girl, and left feeling comforted and assured she would be ok. Dr. Yoakley (I am probably spelling that wrong) is who we saw, and she was the sweetest! Thanks again Lakeway! See you in 3 weeks for another round of vaccines and a checkup.

I am very pleased with Dr. Hannah and the staff. Brought both dogs and they were treated kindly by everyone . Dr. Hanna took lots of time and truly listened. I have found the right vet for us!! No more expensive than Chicago. It's just expensive to own two older dogs! Very happy I found Lakeway.

Lakeway has helped me keep my 9 year old dog healthy. I think they are very thorough. I am satisfied they know what they are doing. My only negative comment is that the cost of vet care is very expensive these days.
