R&R Bait and Tackle used to be the staple of this area, along with Anchor Inn! In the 80's and 90's, you could always find a friendly face and the old timers talking about times past! Now like most gas stations in the area they've been bought out by foreigners! Not that thats a bad thing, but you don't get the same values and morals that you used too!Anyway, its still a good place to get bait and tackle, a cold drink and a fast snack! Just be careful pulling out onto Hwy 41 if there's a lot of traffic coming off the Interstate!! God Bless everyone!!

It was a nice place and even though they were out of a couple of insects I was looking for they have a nice variety. It's a bit pricier for insects than I'm used to but it beats driving all the way to Chattanooga just to get food for my geckos and pet turtles

I wouldn’t recommend this place… we bought meat from their deli (bologna & ham) and some pepper Jack cheese. All of this was sliced when we bought it. We went back to our cabin and the meat and cheese were completely ruined… absolutely sour.

Well as usual, when another group buys out a mom and pop it turns into a beer and lottery joint, stopped in for a look and the staff was not friendly,what used to be a well stocked bait and tackle was empty shelves and hooks, located practilly on the lake and no line ,catfish hooks,rods reels,dip net , and so on,,,,,,,,,,,just beer,chips,cigs,tickets,come on guys keep it stocked with tackle not junk...... 😎

They have minnows, crickets. All sorts of werms. They are super nice. They have lots of snack. A great place to stop if you are going fishing.
