Old review that was removed awhile back because they got offended by it but..,But was with TSC for 8 months Proven myself over and over. I've got YEARS of experience being a manager, owning a business, running much larger businesses like Bass Pro Shops. 1 of our team leads stepped down. I know I was a good fit for the advancement in that position. I have demonstrated that time after time. And have the skills and knowledge and work drive and ethic. I was told they wanted to bring back a former employee who was a friend to them and was never offered an opportunity (favoritism) THEN, our receiving manager left to another store to be a ASM. Was told I was "top choice" for the position pending yet again another friend who worked here before might want the position and was screwed over again. 2 times in less than a month. Favoritism at its finest. They'd rather bring in "friends" (one being a 20 year old child, myself being 41 and YEARS of experience including military service) than promote me for the position when I've gone above and beyond what my job asks of me. No reward for hard work with this company. Just favoritism and politics. Perhaps it's because my 2 managers are liberals and I'm a conservative and they pretend to like me while despising me. Idk, but the fact that they KNOW I need full time hours and want a increase in pay and never offering me either advancements or given the opportunity to do the position is down right low and unprofessional. I've been a hiring manager many times and this level of favoritism needs to be dealt with before I file a lawsuit. It's unfair to promote someone from another store just because they're your friends. Favoritism is this companies moto. Guess that's what happens when you're a liberal ran company. Word of advice. If you do work here. Don't bother working your butt off because it'll get you NOWHERE unless you're "friends" with management. Heck, I wouldn't recommend this company to my ex wife.

Very friendly and helpful. I was needing a new chainsaw chain for a battery powered chainsaw. I wasn't sure which one I needed. The cashier called someone from the back who came and assisted. I had brought the chainsaw with me. He helped me select the correct replacement and even put it on my chainsaw to ensure it worked properly. Spend about 30 minutes helping me. Great service....

I just love walking around that store, tho I do buy a few odds & ends...some we need, some we don't. 🙂 The staff is super nice and helpful when asked for info or directions on where an item might be. And it's good to know they have a special cat food in case we are in desperate need of it. 👍

The staff here is very helpful. I really look forward to the time when companies no longer require their employees to wear masks. Either you have been vaccinated and you’re protected or you’re not going to get vaccinated and you’re not worried about it. It is time to walk out our faith in an area where proportionally there are more people of faith than many places in anywhere in our country.

Love this store. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help with a smile. The neighbor rewards program is awesome. The rewards are actually worth it. Its simple to enroll. This store has anything you might need for animals from poultry to canine. The clothing selection for women is much better than other tsc stores i have shopped at. Its worth your visit for sure.

Friendly employees! Really nice and clean. I was not bothered in the least by the fact that one of the workers had his mask down under his nose a bit as he remained socially distanced from me while we discussed a project he was helping me with. I'll be back soon!

We have always received good service and found what we needed in this store. It is very organized and there is plenty of staff members to help when needed. Kim - the store manager is an excellent provider of customer service. We live in IN but have a horse camp in TN so we often need big dollar items. It makes it a little less painful spending money when you are dealing with nice people that appreciate your business! Kim was busy as a bee - hands on all the way - when I needed her assistance two days in a row. Even though she was busy she still had a smile on her face and willing to help.

Everyone is always so nice, not super knowledgeable about everything but they sure do try! And, usually if we are going in there we know what we need to know about what we are looking for,,,and they really are the nicest people.

The workers will help you find what you're looking for. Aisles are easy to get around in and out. They have a mobile vet that comes certain time of the month. I took my dog there to get her rabies vaccination. Prices are reasonable.

Bought propane for our tank and it worked for a few hours and we can't get it started. Now we are freezing hope y'all are warm. won't buy it there again

Service level was very poor. Only two employees. The said someone called in. The manager was filling a propane tank while the other employee could not use the register, and said he wasn't trained on propane either. The line at the check out was very backed up. Seems they need more staffing. 2 employees for a store this size seems low. I would have thought they would have turned away propane customers since they were short staffed instead of all the other customers in the store they could not check out.

Bought chickens in march suppose to be Rhode Island reds turned out to be some off brand with white all over them not happy big screw up called them said nothing can be done stuck with them

Don't understand why they get a truck on Friday and wait till Monday to put their envetory out. The weekends are the only days that some people can come to town to do their shopping. Their website will say they have something, and they may. But it's probably in the back just waiting for Monday when the ones that put out the orders come to work. I believe a customer shouldn't have to go somewhere else to shop when they would like to spend their money in their home town. They do have some helpful workers tho.

They don't give a military discount because they say "their prices are already as low as they can get." Well, not true. I can buy just about everything they sell somewhere else cheaper and get a military discount most of the time.Now, I'm not a guy that demands a military discount, like so many do, I simply patronize another place that respects veterans with a discount. I only go in a pinch, but now Walmart is selling chicjen supplies, sooo.
