We found 2 boxer puppies. The mom and sibs were found by someone and taken there. They told us they would take the pups June 8. It is now Sept 8 and the pup is still here. Chained up. No human attention. It kills our chickens. They claim they have no room but agreed the other dogs were it's family. The dog will remain outside in its igloo thus winter. Have attempted to find it a home. If they had taken him in June he would have been sent north

Well had a pitbull that came up MISSING?! on Shirley Rd. Just wanted to see dogs they had but was told NO. Could not see??? Why??? If I wanted to adopt would I be aloud to view?? I have heard stories of this place going into yards an capturing dogs? An know 1 person that THIS DID HAPPEN TO SOOO?? It was told they will take your pets without permission have them fixed then want to charge YOU! to pay in order to retrieve an bring your pet HOME!!! Isn't this MY CHOICE!!!? THINK SO

The wonderful folks at Best Friends really do provide a sanctuary for animals. The Ladies I have met there really work miracles with the supplies they have. If your reading this, please drop off a bag of dog or cat food. This is one place that definitely deserves your assistance.

I was very impressed with the dedication and care one of the volunteers showed towards a dog my rescue group took in. He was emaciated when they got in; and they nursed him to health. She contacted my group & went above & beyond to make sure he found his happily ever after.

They did spmegood but when it came down to it, this place did not do what it was meant to do. They did not keep the animals happy, they did not keep the space adequate to the animals they needed to bring in so they would only tale a feaction of strays, and they would find dogs that were owned by someome roaming and pick them up then charge you for getting them back.

This place is a NO KILL SHELTER.... To all the gutless and heartless people dumping your animals on the side of the road, Stop it! What the hell is wrong with you. If you are not able to take care of your dog take to a shelter. Ask somebody for help.
