I really enjoy this store, but they are always short handed. The older women in the vegetable garden section is kinda rude, when I walked up to look around she said, before you ask me we don’t have and named about five things. I said ok well good thing that’s not what I came for.

I bought my last thing from R&J today. My son and myself went in together and ordered 10 Rhode Island Reds. He is building his first house and wanted five chickens. I needed to refresh my stock, so I ordered five more. He wanted to get them from Rural King($3.25ea.). I told Him no, that we could trust R&J($4.50ea.) over Rural King. So, I get the phone call that my 10 chicks are in. I tell you I'll be there after work. You even call me when I am on my way, to make sure I am coming. I drive from Milan to south Jackson and find out, you saved out 8, not 10 chicks for me. It will cost me a fortune to drive to south Jackson to get 2 more. Two younger chicks will be tougher to encorporate into the flock. In the grand scheme of things, 2 chicks are nothing. But, if you will tell me that is how you will fill my order, why should I trust you on the plants I get every year. Why should I trust you on the seed I get every year. I can go five minutes to Lowes in Milan, or Tractor Supply in Milan to buy something blind. Two chicks are nothing. The trust I had in your business, I thought, was worth a little more than that. It's online for me, from now one.

Over all great experience. Ginger and Theresa are both very knowledgeable, especially with cover crop seeds. Prices are some of the best around. Also, a good source for the hobby bee keeper. I am looking forward to returning in the fall for my winter crop seeds.

This is such a great place to get all your outdoor/ livestock needs! The staff is always so kind and helpful! And Miss Ginger always has the best advice! I've had quite a few engaging conversations with the older lady who packs seeds near the back of the store; she is so sweet and has great seed starting knowledge. First hand experience = great advice. 💜 They also have the best looking plants, for the best prices!

I had to take my puppy in for shots today. All of the staff were so polite and helpful. They were super busy but were helping all of the customers who needed it. I recommend them to anyone. They have such a variety of things including from local businesses. I love that!!

If you need fishing supplies this is the place to go. They have all kinds of baits and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a great place for all types of feed and wild bird seed. Wouldn't go anywhere else. This place and the people are awesome 👌 👏

My experience @ R& J was quite pleasant. The lady who helped me was very helpful & most accomodating. She even divided a 20lb bag of birdseed for me, so that i might be able to lift it when i got home, as i am currently recovering from back surgery.
