Pleasant Shopping Experience with a Minor Hiccup:I recently visited the Kroger on Univ. Pkwy. in Jackson, TN, and overall, my experience was quite positive. The store boasted a nice organization that made my shopping trip efficient and enjoyable.One of the standout features was the friendly and helpful staff. The employees at this Kroger location were approachable and eager to assist customers. Their positive attitude added a pleasant touch to my overall shopping experience.However, my enthusiasm was momentarily dampened when I came across a loaf of moldy bread on one of the shelves. It was disappointing to see a product in such condition, but I was pleased with how the situation was handled. I promptly brought it to the attention of a store employee, who took immediate action to address the issue. This incident, while a hiccup in an otherwise smooth experience, highlighted the store's commitment to customer satisfaction and the importance they place on maintaining quality standards.Despite this minor setback, I would still rate the Kroger on Univ. Pkwy. with four stars. The well-organized layout, friendly employees, and the swift response to the moldy bread incident demonstrate the store's dedication to providing a positive shopping environment. I will continue to shop at this Kroger location, confident that they prioritize customer satisfaction and product quality.

Recently visited here on 1/6 at 4:30 p.m. and was completely dissatisfied with the customer service. A young lady dressed in all black that is a self checkout attendant was having a personal conversation on the phone instead of assisting customers. A man needed assistance and asked her for help, she then told him that he can help himself and went back to her personal phone conversation. I needed assistance with ID verification and she told me that shes going to tell somebody else to help me. I have no idea why Kroger would assign someone to a job that requires to help customers if they lack proper customer service and completely against helping customers. Management needs to step up and fire those that do not uphold the values of kroger.

I ate an air pod from an employee in the Ohio plant. Hun you are missing the other half of your air pod!!! Kroger you are disgusting for saying oh my I’m sorry this happened to you, shut your robotics off… the other half of the air bud is somewhere between Cincinnati and Jackson Tn, you all are gross and incompetent, bc it’s completely ok to eat someone else’s ear wax!!!

This is the best Kroger store in Jackson! We love the cheese department. We can always find the cheese we need there. We also love the meat department. The staff is always so helpful and will always take the time to help you find what you need. The seafood is always great. The seafood manager is wonderful and also her assistant manager he is so helpful and friendly. Very clean and organized store. Produce is always fresh. We like their fresh mushroom selections.

Bought your $10 Parmesan coated chicken breast last week. Instructions said to put aluminum foil in pan and spray with pam. Cool one side 400 for 10 minutes then flip and cook 10 to 15 minutes more. Did as directed. The chicken would not flip and when it did most of the coating stuck and lost it. The other side had very little coating to start with. Not good and disappointed especially with the $10 cost and groceries are already out the roof.

Kroger stores here in Jackson, TN are the worst grocery stores that I have experienced. In other places that I have lived I have been well satisfied with Kroger. These stores are the pits.

They are supposed to thrown sushi out at the end of the day but are selling 1-2 day old sushi. I paid 15$ for a rainbow roll that was absolutely rancid.

Bought a shoulder roast and it must have been the oldest cow butchered that day. It was full of gristle and tough as shoe leather. Will never buy meat at Kroger in Jackson, TN again

First time shopping this store. Omg I love it! So much more selection than other big box stores! Produce section was disappointing. Not a big selection. Everything else was top notch! Will definitely be my go to Kroger when in Jackson!

I love this store and location 😍! I always do my grocery shopping here every Sunday, because that's when Kroger gets new products shipped in for restocking. However I was with my brother yesterday getting some last minute groceries for a recipe for dinner and a very rude cashier that was in charge of running the shelf check out lanes was very rude to us because she thought that we were kids messing around with the checkouts. She very rudely asked us what we were doing and not be pushing buttons on the check outs. We had to tell her that we are adults and just getting groceries and no apologies from her. I sadly can't remember her name, I wished I did though.

I like this place due to it having everything that I need with organic and gluten free options, plus their customer service is great when you have the cashier checking you out. However krogers racially profiles, I pay cash for my food and I already deal with anxiety in-stores. There could be 7 people checking out and I'm the only spot in the bunch. They watch me the entire time, which kind of annoys me because they start small conversations while I'm in the middle of counting how many items I have. It is a habit for me because my children sometimes throw things in my basket!!! So I would like for them to watch others as much as they watch me. I don't steal and I pay for food even if my children are just eating. I'm just saying. Other ethnicities steal more, so when I'm in the store they can get away with not ringing up. 😂 so remember if I'm in the store and you don't look like me and strapped for cash, do you!!! I'm not mad at you!!

The produce section was half empty, it is getting increasingly more difficult to shop here because the people who are filing online orders have big carts in the aisle and will run you over. When you survive the obstacles and get to self check it's a nightmare. The machines have glitch after glitch, and the poor attendant is usually running their legs off like playing wack-a-mole to keep people moving. I'm not sure if all the Krogers are this bad but I'm gonna be finding a new place to shop, it's not worth the trouble

My favorite of the Jackson area Kroger's by far. The pick-up associates are always on it, very friendly and by the book, no surprise questions or uncomfortableness at all. There are several pick-up associates I have had and all of them are stellar. Aaron rocks! The inside of the store is also great! Clean, organized, with a huge produce section and ample grab-and-go foods to be found in the deli.

I have been in hundreds of Krogers throughout the country for work, and I can confidently say this is the nicest one I've been to. It's very big, and has a huge selection of products, including ones I've not seen anywhere else, and the shelves are always well-stocked. My favorite thing about this Kroger is, admittedly, the carts. They are so nice and new, and made of plastic, so they're not rickety or squeak/scrape against the ground. I highly recommend shopping here, as opposed to the other two nearby!

I usually enjoy going to the store. But today as like many other days I couldn't enter the store without smelling smoked meats blowing in my face from a vendor outside cooking dead animals. I am a vegan and it might be against popular opinion in this area, but I shouldn't have to experience this when I go into a Kroger's. On top of that, the smoke was heavy inside of the store as well. It was a very unpleasant shopping experience today. Not sure why y'all allow people to smoke meats right outside the front door

I spent an hour getting groceries today and as I am still shopping, I turn around and they’ve done took my buggy! This has been the 3rd time it’s happened to me within 4 months! I’d appreciate it if I could turn my back for more than 2 seconds and not have my cart full of groceries taken and being put back by one of the employees!!!

So I go there to cash in some change at the coinstar machine, and when I get to the cashier, wendy tells me the girl working customer service went home sick and I have to come back tomorrow. Uh, no. I told her I wasn't coming back, and then she said she could open a register and cash it for me. I hot news for you wendy, when people use coinstar, they probably can't get back to kroger without getting their money when they are there. I was getting gas money, and it's not the customer's fault that someone went home sick. The very idea that you would tell a customer to come back tomorrow when you know very well you can cash the coinstar voucher is absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for! I will never go back to this kroger due to her rudeness!

Very very bad service at that bakery on Tuesday night at 5 why the employee behind the counter doing whatever she's doing and decides just ignore all the customers up there waiting for some service all she does is look at the customers and goes her on her Merry Little way on whatever she's doing doesn't even bother to acknowledge anybody she didn't even look that busy. Needs to find better people to work at that bakery who will acknowledge customers.
