Older lady, real long hair, works self checkout this morning is extremely rude. This isn’t the first time either. She acted like I couldn’t read that one self checkout was down and yelled “doesn’t work!” Four times when I never even went to or aimed for that checkout. I scanned my items, DEBIT CARD OUT, at the next one she kept on “MAAM its no cash, no cash, NO CASH!” Like there wasn’t a sign on the register that said debit/credit only. I know she was talking to me as I was the ONLY ONE THERE at 6:30am. It’s opening it’s obvious her day has just begun and if it’s just started with that attitude it will be a long day for her and the customers. Just go to the W University one.Update: different day and same lady. Snatched my receipt as it was printing and threw it away. When I asked did she really just do that she said no, I was again the only person in here. I go to the trash and pull out my receipt proving she did in fact snatch and throw my receipt away before it was even cut from the machine. PLEASE do something about her.

Five-star review for Kroger in Jackson, TennesseeI recently had the best customer service experience at the Kroger in Jackson, Tennessee, thanks to a cashier named Taylor Owens. She was extremely sweet and friendly, and she made great conversation while I was checking out. She was also very thorough and efficient, and she made sure that I had everything I needed.I'm so grateful for Taylor's excellent customer service. She made my shopping experience at Kroger much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a friendly and efficient grocery shopping experience.Taylor at Kroger deserves a raise!I hope Taylor's boss sees this review and gives her the recognition she deserves. She is a valuable asset to Kroger, and she goes above and beyond to make sure that customers have a positive experience.

Kroger seems to have whatever groceries you may need, but it seems a bit expensive to me compared to other places. Also, it was 7pm on a Sunday and the aisles seemed really disorganized. Maybe that’s normal after a long day? But that isn’t really the bad part. The bad part is going in at a busy time and only one lane was staffed, and lines for self checkout, which never seem to work as efficiently. And people were using for whole shopping carts instead of just a few items. So it took a long time just to check out with only 7 items.

I do enjoy shopping at Kroger stores, but definitely NOT at this one. The place smells like bad fish!!!!! 🤢🤢🤢The seafood area is awful. Shame.

The lady running around with the oxygen tank working self check out needs to learn how to address and work with people in a professional manner. Witnessed her being out of line and disrespectful to several customers. Will not return to this location

***Over the last 3 to 4 years this Kroger's location off of University has gone downhill a lot, and it's getting worse every day! The vegetables and fruits must be refrigerated too cold before placing on the shelf for sale. We have returned more fruits and vegetables spoilage because of this. The bananas start rotting after only 2 to 3 days. Talking to the management at this location only results in walking away with only a laughable excuse from them. The Kroger stores are discontinuing most other Great Brands and bring their "Kroger Brands" in to replace them. We started shopping at Aldi's and Grubbs downtown.

I am so impressed with the management and the employees here. 1. I shopped with crutches (and a scooter), when I got ready to leave, the grocery manager helped me to my truck while I hopped on my crutches. Then a I got ready to leave he helped someone else. Just outstanding. 2. I was having trouble finding a product, and a young men named Hunter went out of his way to take me to the product (the product was in an odd place and difficult to explain) 3. The store manager was on the floor organizing product (as though he was just an employee). When I see upper management on the floor doing what he asked of subordinates, I see a leader setting the example. I love this store, clean, organized and great people working. Oh, 4. Rita, bagged my groceries today, and helped me to the car with my groceries (I have limitations physically) People serving and going up and above the call of duty.

The cashier at the self Checkout was rude. Acted like I was an inconvenience because their machines was out of change. If I am paying good money in your store, I expect a little common courtesy, just a little. And Bless his heart, the General manager was just standing at the front of the Checkout laughing and talking completely oblivious to all the blinking lights and customers waiting in long lines, getting upset. But hey, glad you're having a super day buddy 👍

Wish I could give half of a star. Nothing but problems when I went. The manager verbally abuses his employees. Santitaion is a joke. Produce is nasty and old. Floors are always mysteriously sticky. And don't get me started on the bathrooms 🤢🤮 overall I recommend this place be demolished because it is a hazard to the community. Plus the employees are always saying racial slurs

Hours are inconsistent, especially service desk. Produce quality is very hit and miss quality wise (usually a miss)… if they even have it. Walmarts produce is usually better and more in stock, which is pathetic. Coming from FL where we always use Publix, Kroger is a huge disappointment

So I'm instacart shopper. Went their to do an order and they tell me I can't use self check out. And I use self check out so I can get it all done and get my groceries to my customers. I had to stand my ground to the employee and boss calling corporate office Monday to report this incident

Jeff helped me bring my groceries to my car after loading them in the basket and even putting them on the belt for me. I didn’t catch the name of the kind lady who checked me out but I think this is great customer service. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Showed up for Kroger Pick up (first time I’ve ever used that feature)…. I have been waiting in my car for over two hours, and I still haven’t received my groceries. The manager came out to explain they were short staffed. Nice guy. But I had to cancel my plans tonight for this.

It's been years since I've been at this store and it was hard finding items that I needed. Then when I went to check out they only had 4 self checkout stations open and 2 people checking out. People had to really wait just to get checked out. Not what I call a very proficient ran store.

*Check your receipts.*Kroger seems to have a habit of pricing "mistakes" that are coincidentally always in THEIR favor. Can't tell you how many times I've been overcharged at checkout for items above their listed price or had Kroger Card "discounts" that mysteriously don't apply at checkout. Whoops.For instance I just bought a steak that was $10, or at least it was supposed to be. Check my receipt when I get home and they charged me $15.Never once have I had an item ring up *under* the listed price. Funny how that works.Either they have major pricing/inventory/managerial issues or they are intentionally scamming. Either way is unacceptable.I would eagle eye those receipts or these scammers will get you. I'll be shopping elsewhere from now on. Been ripped off one too many times by Kroger.

Service desk is terrible. They close way before time to close which suppose to be 9pm. I just called and the lady said they close at 8:30. If they not doing that then they not open at all because they claim they don’t have anyone to run it. I thought the manager suppose to know how to run everything. I have went there on multiple occasions and it’s always something. Now I just go to the Kroger on University Parkway and have never had any of these problems. People get it together please.

Deli closes at 10 so why did the older man in the deli have an issue when we wanted to get some meat sliced just now... oh that's right... he said he just cleaned the cutter... Ok... It's 8:27 pm Hmmmm... But you're open til 10. So no more deli tonight???? Well... We more than likely will not return.

Produce selection and quality good. Nice options for different ethnic foods. Cooked food in deli looked so so. Premade sandwiches and salads looked very good. Meat case selection was limited, but steak and ground beef were very good. Only thing that I did not like was digging for a certain Italian sausage. All different flavors were mixed and not in proper order. This was the ONLY thing that I saw wrong and of course this is only my opinion.

Nice place to shop at. But I don't appreciate being watched the whole time at checkout, like I am about to steal something. Even though I spend almost two hundred dollars every time I come in. If this ever happens again, I'll just have to shop somewhere else.

I mostly love Kroger but one thing that i really dislike is the way the prices of items are listed on the receipts. It's very confusing and I've found errors several times on items that are supposed to be on sale, but only after I've returned home and can carefully study the receipt!

Never in all the years that I have shopped at Kroger, and, in all of the many cities that have a Kroger, have I ever been to one worse than this one. Smiles have been replaced with stank face, eye rolls or side-eye. "Welcome to Kroger " has been replaced with an exasperated exhalation of breath or an indifferent stare that goes straight through you while letting you know that you mean nothing. And if you have a question, the best course of action would be NOT to ask. Honestly, one star is too many.
