Shopping for formal wear is never a fun experience for me. I didn't expect to find what I needed here today but the selection was way more than the online stock would leave you to believe. The unisex dressing rooms were a bit confusing and wore down plus trying to find a vacant stall that didn't have the remains of some type of stolen goods was hard to do, Actually Impossible. Beside the online stock being nowhere near what's in the store the placement is insane. Prices are great though especially with the "birthday" sale they have going now. Cashier was great held professional conversation and entered all "coupon" codes I gave her accurately.

The sales associates were great , friendly and helpful. I want to give them FIVE STARS. However , I was extremely disappointed with the price /sales signs for clothing. I found in several departments , the signs were inaccurate and VERY MISLEADING. It was downright dishonest. The signs displayed a price in large font on a clothing rack and or table . However , most of the merchandise on the rack and table were not at that price. This was merchandise purposely displayed this way to confuse shoppers. This issue was not the result of misplaced merchandise. Shame on you for using deceptive practices to confuse and trick customers . I wish I had taken pictures . Next time I am in the area I will be sure to take pictures , as this is a commonly used tactic and not a rare event.Watch out shoppers !

I haven't been in JCP OR even been IN the mall for several years. I just made a quick run through for something specific. The mens dept was hard to shop in. Disarray comes to mind. Scattered and messy. Wasn't enticing enough to make me want to go back.

Only store I visit in the mall these days. They have a pretty good selection of levis jeans and some nice dress clothes if that's what you need. Good place to do some holiday or birthday shopping.

This is an okay JC Penney. It is a smaller store but it does carry a big variety of clothing, shoes, jewelry, purses. It doesn't have a lot of good sales like the larger JC Penneys might have but this is the only store in this area so its convenient if live in this area. It's an older store and could use some updating.

So well treated at JC Penney !!!!! I use to be a member years ago in Vancouver WA., and I'm BACK here in the Jackson TN.area now. Great quality merchandise, fair pricing, even some great buys. The employees were very helpful getting me set up with a new account.

This would be giving more starts if I felt like we were in a safer location. The mall in Jackson is deserted and quite eerie. I would love if the moved to a better location. The store overall is great, just purely location has this not at four or five stars.

I have called many times about my order that I was told would be in a week ago.. I cannot get anybody to answer the phone. I have even went up there. I get if my order is not in but I cannot even get anybody on the phone I have to drive 40 minutes just to get told it’s not in. It’s over a week late.

Was sent the wrong sizes in my order. Was told to go to my closet store to fix the problem. The closest store is a 3 hrs drive, that's why I ordered online.

This store has been truly brilliant about the way the merchandise has been arranged for the most efficient way to shop for find whatever you need. I have been missing out on the way J.C. Penny has strove to remind us of all the benefits of the brick and mortar shopping experience. Because nothing beats the ability to see, touch, and feel the products that we are spending our hard earned money on. J.C.P. makes you feel like you are the best judge of what they are offering and proves they are still worth the effort and time to go to the mall and are not going to give up on superior quality, service, and value in the department store experience they provide. Located inside the Old Hickory Mall. Make sure you lock your car and watch your surroundings when visiting here. As far as merchandise they have a pretty good selection of women's, junior's, men's, and children's clothing. They also have makeup, jewelry, and shoes. I would not recommend the salon.

My experience. I bought a piece of clothing, went home, hung it up and discarded everything including the receipt. Weeks later I go to put it on and the sales associate did not remove the ink tag. And of course they won’t remove it because of lack of receipt. I recommend you reinforce training your associates on basic daily duties. Now I have to risk damaging my product via life hacks.

Very nice associates in the store. Had a smile on their faces and greeted you like they were really glad to see you. Displays looked classy and store sparkled. Bathroom was clean and up to date. We enjoyed looking around and will be back.

We got 3 shirts and a pair of pants for only 40 dollars which was amazing. Great service, the cashier joked with us and got us great deals. Also there are so many sales on everything from pants to prom dresses. It's a great place. i recommend it.

With all the recent store closings I am happy that JC Penney has stuck it out for decades , I remember this particular store it was the 1st JC Penney I've ever been in when I was 7 years old 49 years later they're still going strong , I wish JC Penney a long life

The customer service the first time I went was exceptional. But Dec 28th the service was quite poor. I brought back an item for a simple exchange for size. (policy says "easy exchange WITH OR WITHOUT A RECEPT ") but the associate insisted that the item had been marked from $20 down to $8 and then back up to $20 in one week. She admitted that it didn't seem "right", but there was nothing she could do I would lose $12 dollars by exchanging the vest. I literally bought the other vest understanding it had been marked down to $8 for fear my 84yr old mother would not have the gift she had loved. Only it rang up the same as the original had cost. What!? Very upset.... hopefully Jc Penny's will train employees better and/ or get consistent with company policies.!
