Everytime my husband and I go to this restaurant everyone who works there is so extremely nice. My husband and I love that they treat us so well. It makes us want to keep coming back. The food is delicious and the restaurant is clean and always plays good music. We will always recommend this place to the young people and to the old, as that is what we are. Love it. Brisket tacos are amazing!We went there again today and it was excellent as usual. Still love it!

Update 10.18.23: The meatloaf sandwich that was the special, that needs to become a standard menu item. That's the best sandwich I've ever had!-----------They took the deli concept, encased it in a hip environment complete with craft beer that's locally (and close to local) sourced.While you might get sticker shock while looking at the menu, you will find the price more than justified when you see the quality (and portions) of your food. They don't skimp and they don't cut corners.Great food. Great environment. Great concept. Come see for yourself.

Ordered takeout. VERY disappointing. I had a hoagie Cheesesteak. No peppers or Mayonnaise. Just dry with cheese. My mother had a ham and cheese. They could at least add tomato, Lettuce and Mayonnaise. Like this is crazy. I do like the Brisket Chilli. Spent $26 for this. I will stick to my Jersey Mike's for sandwiches. This is Terrible...

Someone told me Hub City Deli had one of the best burgers in Jackson so I had to try it out. It's a darn good burger. Not the best around but a solid option for someone looking for something different. Bun was well toasted and meat was just right. Hub City is such a nice environment to go inside and have a meal. Such a gem in Jackson. If you don't frequent here, you should. The Mac and cheese was rich and creamy as always. Maybe they could throw the Mac and cheese on top of the burger and make something phenomenal. Now I want to go try that myself. Would recommend for those looking to try something different.

6/23/2022 came to Hub City Deli in Jackson, MS, on our way to Nashville. I had a local IPA That was delicious and the Fall Harvest Salad w/ raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Jim got the homemade pastrami Sandwich that came with his choice of chips. They also offer homemade deserts (I believe the owner’s mom make them). We had the vanilla squares and what a difference in homemade vs mass produced! They are located in a clean, new strip center with so much character! In my opinion, they are taking on McAllister’s right down the road. If we are going off food quality and taste, cleanliness, friendliness and completely homemade items…There is no a question, hands down Hub City Deli is the winner on all!

Breakfast. I believe Hub City recently started serving breakfast. The meat was good, everything else is subpar quality. Biscuits and gravy, powdered gravy - expected more. Specifically asked if biscuits were homemade, employee confirms “yes” however, the biscuits are clearly brought on. I expected more from Hub City Deli.

Delicious! Kimberlie provided the BEST customer service as soon as we walked in 💓 She suggested the Turkey Brie & it was delicious. We also had the Turkey Guac Wrap. Their pickles are the BEST pickles I've ever had. As we were leaving, I asked about them & found out they make them there. They also sell their pickles. I purchased 2 containers to take home

Our first visit and we loved it! We chose the Southern Classic Cobb Salad and were NOT disappointed! Fresh and tasty! Diced chicken hot off the grill. Light and airy room. Very clean with a hostess circulating and wiping down tables. Everyone wearing their masks! We will return to try out other sandwiches!

I had the in-house made fresh smoked pastrami on rye bread and it was perfect. I was so tender and delicious and the service was good too. This place is the best sandwich shop I have been to in my life. Too bad I was just passing through while traveling.

The staff was helpful and knowledgeable when I let them know I was vegan and ordered with modifications.The Hippie Picnic Sandwich is vegan when ordered without Provolone. The grilled squash, zucchini, bell peppers, red onions, and mushrooms give the sandwich a great flavor. It is definitely something that I will order again.

I dropped their rating from 5 stars to two, due to the fact that they have shorted us on brisket orders to go. This has happened several times. We have ordered one pound brisket orders to go several times lately. Each time the order was between 13.5 and 14.5 ounces. My wife has a calibrated food scale and weighed the order each time. Upon complaint to management, they offered concessions for the short order, but that means another trip to their store to rectify the matter. Anyone can make a mistake. However this seems to have become common practice. Dishonest weights and measures the Lord abhors. So do I.

My only compliments are for the pickles,the Nice bathroom, and the front cashier. The food prep is OKAY at best. The pricing is HEAVILY EXCESSIVE! Menu is difficult to read, without notice of pricing. Breakfast items are less expensive. STYLE OVER SUBSTANCE! Try JJ or Jersey Mike's.Vegetarian options: Pickles are very tasty and come with sammich.

First visit. Heard alot of great things so I checked it out. I got the Cuban and it was amazing! Also got the Italian sandwich which isn't listed below. I asked for no tomatoes and no onions which they left off but they also left off the giardiniera which my girlfriend was really craving. I called and spoke with the mgr Sherry and she very generously refunded the cost of the whole sandwich. As busy as they were I didn't wait long for my order. Customer service from start to finish was fantastic. The cost/portion/quality ratio is good. Excellent customer service high quality product. I'm looking foward to trying other menu items! Support your local mom and pops!!! Suggest adding the Monte Cristo and Muffaletta sandwiches

Portions are good. Staff is kind. Restaurant is clean. Some sandwiches are better than others, and the sides are unique and fresh but not as good as you'd expect. I'm not a fan of some of their smoked items, but that's just personal preference. Their pickles are amazing. I'm so glad they're offering breakfast now! I love their peppered bacon, so I was thrilled that they offer a bacon biscuit. I'm really thankful to have a place like this in the sea of chain restaurants.

Delicious food! I have been 2x now and both sandwiches (the Italian last trip and the Piggy Sue today) were delicious. I love the vibes inside and the patio is great also.
